I can not let the business day end without speaking on my experience at the Monroeville location. Pat and Carina, I can't thank you enough for going out of your way to provide excellent customer service. I'm in a wedding in THREE days, and my dress doesn't fit. In a panic I went to the tailor who said she could fix it but i needed the fabric. So I called the David's Bridal in Robinson and explained the situation. The woman on the phone was nice and she looked in the computer to find my size but was unable to locate the size. She was able to find a size below at the Monroeville location and gave me the number to call. I called and had a staff member pull the dress for me. I drove all the way from Crafton to Monroeville during rush hour. Carina and Pat immediately begin to explain my options for alterations. Pat didn't like that option especially since that would require me spending additional money. She thought that she might be able to find the dress in my size. She made a couple calls and stayed on hold for a very long time and FOUND THE DRESS IN MY SIZE!! But since Robinson was closer to me, she said it would be better for them to do the exchange there. She didn't send me on my way saying that her job was done. Since I was the one that called to check the store availability, she made sure Robinson knew the situation and stayed on the phone until it was taken care of. Carina went a step further to try and get me a transaction number so there was no confusion. I was on the phone with the Robinson store and they needed a card to place the order, I only had cash. So I was going to drive from Monroeville back to Robinson. As I'm explaining this to my husband and kids Carina comes outside. She and Pat were not alright with me making that trip. They were able to take the cash, put it on a card and call in the payment for me. I wanted to cry but I settled for a hug. I have worked in customer service for 17 years and I can't even say that I have given this level of service to a customer. Pat made it her business that I, the customer, was not inconvenienced any further. For her and Carina to concern themselves with my travel, my kids and making sure that I avoided unnecessary trips...I was truly touched. This could have easily been an expensive, disappointing and disastrous weekend. Pat and Carina were life savers. I cannot wait to tell the bride how they saved the wedding (after the wedding is over of course lol) Thank you ladies so much for everything that you did fir me today. I had only wonderful experiences at this David's Bridal location. The first time I went to this location, I went by myself on a Saturday afternoon. This was the first time I had ever put on a wedding dress. My consultant, Megan Boozer, was the absolute best. When I came in, I asked for non-traditional dresses: no lace, no ball gowns, and nothing white. I asked her to find me dresses that were colorful and unique. Megan delivered in a big way. She found several dresses that were beautiful. By the end of the appointment, I found two dresses that I was absolutely was in love with. Megan worked with me during that first appointment for almost 3 hours. She was super patient and very helpful. Three weeks later, I had a follow up appointment and brought my mom and aunt along. They are from out of town so we only had one day to look around. Before we went to my appointment as David's, we had gone to other bridal salons in the area. None of the other places were able to find me dresses in my size (Size 16/18) or styles that I liked nearly as much. If you are a bigger bride, David's Bridal, is definitely a wonderful place to go because they will have many options that you can at least try on (the one boutique bridal store I went to earlier in the day only had two dresses in my size). Fortunately, Megan (from my first appointment) was there and worked with me again. I asked her to put me in a few other dresses that I had found online that were similar to stuff my mom and aunt had liked at the other places I had been able to try on dresses. Megan was more than happy to do this. When she saw that I wasn't as happy about these ones, she pulled the one dress that I had liked from my previous appointment. Once I put the dress back on again (and saw my mom's reaction), I knew that this was my wedding dress. Thank you, Megan! Thank you for making me feel comfortable and understanding my style. Thank you for taking the time to learn about my fiance and our story. Thank you for telling me to get out of the store when I just kept trying on dresses. I had a great, stress-free time looking for my wedding dress. I knew almost nothing about what I wanted other than I wanted white. My sales associate, Elayne, was wonderful! I tried on 6-7 dresses. I was able to narrow it down to three, but deciding on those three was SO difficult!! I tried on each dress about 4 more times, back to back. Elayne didnt mind at all! She was very very helpful in helping me consider all aspects of the dress. She also asked the alterations specialist to come out and give me examples of how the dresses would look bustled up for the reception - this was GREAT! It helped me realize I did not like the style of one of the dresses bustled, which then allowed me to eliminate one of the three dresses. Being down to two dresses that I loved equally, she and the alterations specialist considered every aspect and accessories possible to enhance each dress. Again, I tried on each dress multiple times with all accessories and alteration possibilities - - after hours of being there, I was so thirsty and drained. Elayne gave me one of her bottles of water which was very very thoughtful! Eventually, I had almost every sale associate giving me their opinions and rooting for me. Even through all this, I did not feel at all pressured to make a decision. Elayne gave me all the time I needed alone to talk things over with my mom. It was never awkward or like I was unable to express my true opinions because of a sales associate being around. I always had alone time when I needed it, as well as time with the associates when needed. After nearly 3 or so hours, I finally decided on my dress and got to ring the bell - - which made me emotional. I began to cry, my mom began to cry, and then Elayne began to cry and hugged me. She was amazing! I was so nervous about trying on dresses because I know how indecisive I am and how easily I get stressed out, But Elayne made this as peaceful as could be! I am still on cloud nine from my amazing experience at David's in Monroeville today! Let me begin by saying that I had tried on another dress at a private shop in another state and LOVED IT - but I just didn't feel right about the price. Don't get me wrong, it was a great dress but the price tag was so over inflated. As time drew closer for me to make a down payment, I started to get cold feet. I wanted to keep looking - and decided to hit the DB webpage with fresh eyes. I found a dress that I loved and immediately made an appointment. Upon arriving today, I found out that this particular store didn't carry the dress but my consultant Tawnya encouraged me to look at some other ones. I was on a strict budget and she immediately took me to the sales rack - no questions asked (or pushing to look outside my range). We picked a few that fit the theme of my wedding (Old Hollywood Glamour) and headed for the dressing room. My dress was the first one I tried on! It was perfect - fit like it was made for ME! I am a very busty and petite girl and I am not used to clothes fitting so well. Tawnya and I knew it was THE ONE! I got so many compliments from other clients, families and even consultants. The alterations manager came and met with me immediately and told me all the alterations that I needed and assured me that we could get everything done in house. We picked a stunning headband and birdcage and the look was complete! I rang that bell proudly and said YES TO MY DRESS! I am wearing the dress of my dreams for 1/6 the cost of what I was considering! I know that DB gets a lot of negative press but I am here to tell you that I had a very positive experience. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing my experience with these people have been. To give a little back story my fiancé proposed to me in June of 2013 and a couple months later we find out we are pregnant. My mother and I stopped in just to see what I was getting myself into since I was only 2 months pregnant and have yet to gain much weight. I tried on maybe 3 dresses and thought I found the dress. In this case I think I had a more emotional connection and was beyond excited to see the future with my fiancé vs what dress I was wearing. After purchasing the dress Months later passed and I unfortunately lost our precious little boy. I tucked away my wedding dress for the heartache I knew i would have and honestly I didn't quite even remember what it looked like. 4 months before the wedding and 3 weeks before my first dress fitting I finally tried it on and unfortunately mentally felt like I couldn't possibly wear this dress from the heartache it in packed. I called Davids bridal up and spoke to a pretty understanding and nice gentleman named John and was told that it would be under manager discretion. I made a appointment for the next day and met a woman named Pat, Megan and please forgive me for not remembering the other assistant. They exchanged my dress for something of same value or greater. I was there searching for almost 2 hours meanwhile my dress was looking right at my dressing room the whole time, finally was able to have happy tears now that I know I found the one. It felt like I was at a complete different part of the city/world because not many places in Pittsburgh people are as friendly. I was beyond satisfied. If I could have rated 1000 stars I would. I had originlly bought a wedding dress at a high-end boutique in Virginia....it was from a well known maker and was not exactly cheap. Months after ordering the dress and putting down a large deposit I found out that the store filed bankruptcy...leaving me without a dress less than four months until my wedding!! David's Bridal to the rescue! I made an appointment at DB for the next weekend. I was very skeptical about going there because it has a reputation for being impersonal and cheap...but I was running out of time and had no other option. With my ipad in hand, and 20 pinned dresses that I thought may possibly work, I showed up to my appt with my mother and grandmother. I was greeted by Consuela, who was my consultant. I handed her the ipad, told her my story and conveyed my desperation, and she cheerfully said that she would start pulling the first 8 dresses in my list while my family and I looked around for more inspiration. After pulling my dresses she set me up in a room and got my mother and GM seated. I'm a very modest person, and she respected my wishes for dressing myself and would help me zip up the backs after fully putting the dresses on. I had the "it's THE dress" moment on the third dress, even my mom had the same feeling! I tried on a few more, just to make sure, but ended up going back to that one. And, honestly, I'm so much more in love with this dress than I was with the first one I bought....and it's less than half the price! Fast forward one month....my dress came in two weeks ago and I had my first fitting this weekend. My dress will be finished with alterations in less than a month....leaving me with two months to spare until the wedding! All of the women that I have dealt with at DB have been amazing! I went to this David's Bridal four times before my wedding, and each visit was wonderful! I went to the store in Monroeville, PA with my fiance to find a dress on July 5, 2016. This store has TONS of dresses to choose from, from $100 to $2000. I also got dizzy looking through so many racks of dresses. (I'm comparing this store to West Springfield, MA, which was very small and not a lot of options). Our consultant was Sarah, and she was wonderful! She gave great advice about picking a dress that best fits my figure, and she helped me get into every single dress in the dressing room. She was very patient and fun to work with. She also had to help another girl, who was trying on bridesmaid dresses, but she gave me the most attention and spent almost two hours with me. After trying nine dresses, I said yes to the last dress. My fiance was very satisfied with the dress and can't wait to see me wear it on our wedding day. Thanks Sarah! I then returned two times to get the dress altered. The good thing about my dress was it was in my size, so I didn't have to spend a lot of money altering. I just need to trim the bottom since I'm a short person, and I need to hem it (but the train isn't long so that wasn't hard). I went to get it fitted twice, and the alterations staff were very nice and informative about how to put on the dress and take care of it. I made an appointment to look at wedding dresses for the first time at Davids Bridal because of how well they treated a friend of mine. I went with my mom and was greeted by Brandi, a family friend whom I didn't know worked there. My nerves started to melt away and then I met my consultant Tiffany. My experience was better than I ever could have imagined it would be. Tiffany listened to what kind of dress I liked, my mom liked, and even gave me a few of her choices to try on. I fell in love with the second dress I tried on, but Tiffany saved the best for last! I was torn on which dress to pick and when I put on the last dress I just knew it was the one! She did an amazing job finding the perfect veil, jewelry, shoes, bra, and slip. I ended up getting everything that same day for a very good price! Davids Bridal has this cute tradition that when you say yes to the dress you ring a bell and as silly as it sounds it was very emotional and the perfect way to end the day. Every consultant at David's was really nice, but I highly recommend Tiffany and Brandi for their expertise and for making a person feel at ease. Another great thing that David's offers is 20 dollars off bridesmaids dresses and mother of the bride dresses. I had been engaged since December 2015 for a March 2017 wedding, and had 80% of the planning finished by March 2016. I was hesitant to make a dress appointment, because I am plus-sized and many stores only carry up to a size 12 or 14. I called David's armed with printouts of the dresses I saw on their site that came in size 18-26, to make an appointment. I was only interested in a dress with some type of sleeve (not strapless) and they assured me they would have something for me to try on. Still nervous, I went to the store last month. I gave my stylist Megan the printouts. She was so nice and understanding. She even seemed to instantly get my style and personality. She pulled a few dresses, all of which were gorgeous and very "me." I only tried on two dresses and went with the second! I hadn't seen it online but it fit my specifications and my style! It will work so well for my vintage-y wedding! She helped with the veil, headpiece, shoes, everything! I did have an early appointment on a Sunday so the store wasn't crowded, but Megan spent a lot of time with me and was very helpful. I had went to David's bridal almost one month ago. We had moved up our wedding to only four months away! I was in a rush, but ended up with the most gorgeous wedding dress; however I absolutely dreaded my bridesmaid dresses and the colors. I was so upset about them. I cried several times just thinking about them and was worried about confronting David's Bridal because I knew all sales were final and did not think that they would be able to do anything for me. After all, I agreed to those dresses since I was in a hurry. After a month, my mother convinced me to at least try. I went in and the manager Pat (Patricia) was the most wonderful, helpful, and polite woman that I have ever met. She had me in tears, as well as herself, to do everything in her power to change my dresses! And they were changed to exactly what I wanted and now the wedding of my dreams will come true! I downloaded Yelp just to make this review. I originally went to this store expecting to find an idea of the right shape or dress for me; but I left with much more. Tanya was awesome! She ended up being my dress consultant and was all about me. Not my sisters, not my future mother-in-law, but figuring out what the bride wanted. I ended up falling in love with two dresses. I over stayed my welcome time and no one was pressuring me. I was there on a busy Saturday afternoon and somehow felt like I was the only one on the store. I could not make a decision and ended up coming back on Sunday with my mom. I went in and out of two dresses with Tanya and every other worker in the store without having my heart set on the right one. Finally, I came back on a Monday and after putting on each dress once, I saw myself walking down the aisle towards my Prince Charming in one of them. I said yes. I rang that bell and every worker in that building was there to congratulate me. These women are awesome and will make you feel awesome with Tanya leading the way!!! I had an amazing experience at David's Bridal this past weekend. I would like to give a tremendous thanks to Tiffany, who was more than amazing! I had a 9 am appointment (tip - if you're going on a Saturday - go early! I was the only customer in the store for the first hour, and got a lot of attention from not only my consultant, but all the others in the store as well! It got much more crowded as the afternoon went on). My 90 minute appointment (where I was not planning on buying a dress) turned into a 4 hour appointment, and Tiffany helped me in and out of countless dresses, gowns, veils, and accessories to find the perfect look. I was so happy to say yes to the dress! I was most pleasantly surprised by the number of dresses in small sizes that they had on site. Most dresses were available in either a 2, 4, or 6 to try on in the store. This is so helpful when trying to see what a dress looks like on a smaller figure when you don't have to clip up much larger sizes. Absolutely wonderful experience all around! I had THEE best experience with the staff at David's Bridal and with my AMAZING consultant Megan Boozer! I made an early AM appointment and the staff was ready to great me. Megan took time to get to know me and really listened to what I wanted, what my concerns were, and that I just wanted to try dresses on that day (but not buy anything). Not once did I feel pressured or like I was just another number. Instead, Megan was so patient with me...taking time to bring the styles I envisioned as well as some great options that I hadn't considered yet. She spent over 2 hours with my mom and I! I ended up buying my gown that day. After a few weeks though, I started having second thoughts about my choice and Megan worked with me to exchange my gown. This time she spent nearly 3 hours with my mom and I and we found THE one!!!! I cannot thank Megan enough for her time, her great ideas (from sashes, to veils, to jewelry, etc), and her encouragement to make sure that I walk down the isle as my true self. Great experience! I was a walk in customer today at Davids bridal. Immediately I was greeted, filled out paper work, and was placed with someone within the first ten minutes of being there. I was then introduced to Megan and the employee she was training named Christy. These two were amazing through out the entire experience. They asked me the style I was looking for, and picked out three unique styles for me to try first. The very first dress they picked I fell in love with, which in the end ended up being the one I bought. I was so impressed that the first dress they put me in was the exact dress I was envisioning myself wearing on my special day. After picking the perfect dress. They were also a great help with fitting me in the correct undergarments for my dress. I am highly impressed with David's bridal and the customer service that these two employees provided. I give you 5 stars and will recommend your business and these two employees in particular to all of my friends for their future weddings. I'm very happy with my experience at DB in Monroeville, PA. Going in, with only my niece, I had just planned on trying on different styles to see what my look best on me. I really didn't have any intention of purchasing that day because I had no idea what I wanted. My sales person, Corina, was awesome and picked out several different styles for me to try. I loved her personality and I feel like she was definitely working to find something I loved not just make a sale. The dress I liked most was missing shoulder straps which I felt I needed with a larger chest. After Darlene from the alterations department came out, I was sold. She got creative with a couple of belt sash's and the dress was transformed. Kim helped me with all the pinning needed on my first alterations appointment. She was sweet and funny. These woman probably deal with cranky brides and their relatives on a daily basis but they were wonderful with me. My one suggestion would be that management give them a raise or bonus or something cause they are very good at what they do. 10 stars! read more

Amazing, calm, fun and successful experience with DavidsBridal but mostly with the woman who helped me, Diane. I 100% recommend her. She was not only so kind and genuine, but listened to me and found me my wedding dress! She was NOT PUSHY at all and made me feel so special and calm about my experience. I have been to other wedding dress stores that jump down your throat with the pushiness, on display, suffocating way (mind you I am a huge tomboy and had nothing but a bad attitude about the whole wedding dress buying experience) Diane at DavidsBridal changed all of that for me. She made me feel so happy and excited about it! She picked out about 7-8 dresses for me and found the one I ended up taking home and am in love with! Lets just say I cried when I put it on and just knew ( and I am not a crier!). My 5 stars go to Diane, what a beautiful soul she is, so kind and knows her stuff!!!! I went there on a busy day without an appointment. I was greeted immediately along with my mother and aunt. We were shopping for my wedding dress for my wedding in October of Next Year! Never once was this mentioned about the crazy amount of time. I'm a size 16 in dresses and had heard some horror stories about the way bridal salons take care of fluffier brides. We were matched up with Tanya. This girl was a real joy to work with. My aunt and mum are intense personalities to work with in an already intense situation. Tanya was insanely capable of working with them and made the experience really fun even though she was split between me and another person to wait on. She was always going the extra mile for us and being fun and bubbly the whole time. We had the manager stopping to work with us as well as another floor worker by the end of it and the experience made what I thought would be an ego crushing experience one of my best ones! I had a wonderful experience at David's when shopping for my wedding dress. Our consultant Tiffany was so patient while I tried on a gazillion dresses and she made me feel like the most important bride in the world. She helped me to determine which style fit me best, brought in another consultant for some help and guidance and I finally said "YES" to the dress!! The hours of searching for the one was finally over. Yippy! The whole experience was overwhelming to say the least. Tiffany made sure that when I rang the bell that this dress was, without a doubt, the perfect one for me. I was thrilled when my dress came in within 2 weeks of ordering. Yep, that's right...two weeks! I returned with each of my bridesmaids to purchase their gowns and Tiffany made sure to check on us while multitasking and helping other brides as well. The 5 stars are specifically for Steph M. who helped me find my wedding dress and veil yesterday. I lucked out with having her assist me. She was so professional, sweet, and had a great eye for detail and matching. I tried on about six dresses and ended up choosing a dress that she had specifically suggested for me. She also selected a veil that matched perfectly... I love it!!! I want to add that I am a very picky person and did NOT expect to walk away with a dress yesterday!!! Really, I can't emphasize enough how hard to please I am with anything clothing-related. :D I had appointments scheduled at other bridal shops and David's Bridal was my first stop to see what styles I actually liked. Not only did I find a dress I absolutely adore, the price was unbeatable!!!! I was prepared to spend up to $600 more than I did just for the dress. It was meant to be!
