"I said YES to the dress at Marwin Bridal!" MarWin Bridal and their entire team were absolutely phenomenal! I purchased my dress and veil from MarWin Bridal for my vow renewal. I also had my alterations done here as well. I highly recommend this shop for all of your wedding and bridal needs. I found this shop in search of a specific wedding dress brand (Essence of Australia) and MarWin came up as a vendor carrying the brand in my internet search on my area. We set an appointment and I received attentive one on one VIP treatment for the entire appointment. You can bring your entire wedding party group as well. I was not sure of the fit and style of dress I wanted initially. Their appointment app was helpful to prepare me for my visit. When we arrived, they helped me to try on several options from their robust collection to narrow down my search. They were extremely patient with me while helping me try on the dresses while providing helpful tips along the way. Their selection was robust for women of all tastes, shapes and sizes. Prices for dress and alterations were comparable to the market. Their shop was similar to a boutique and was bright, adorable and perfect! I am very indecisive and did a search among several shops in Pittsburgh before making my final decision. The dress of my dreams and the quality of the 2 dresses in my final running ended up being from MarWin. I took I pictures of all dresses that I tried on. I was pulled right back to their shop every time. Quality was unmatched. My dress had been at the shop from the first try on and was waiting for me when it was time for me to make a final decision. Special shout out to the entire team: Gina provided top notch customer service and helped me to try on dresses. She was an absolute gem the entire time and provided support services for my initial appt. with a smile. Karen was also there as well and they were both extremely helpful. Karen did the alterations and the bustle for my dress. She is a master with her skills. With over 30 years of experience, she made magic happen with my dress putting any worries I had to rest and made sure my dress had the most amazing fit specifically for me. Jamie was the owner and helped to provide follow thru and facilitated all appointments. She was extremely patient and professional with me the entire time and answered all questions I had along the way. She also helped me with try ons when my dress order came in. I began shopping for my wedding dress in the fall of 2019. To say that the experience was top-notch is an understatement. The consultant was so accommodating, knowledgable, and patient with my indecisiveness. She allowed my family and friends who came with me to browse the store selections for me, as well as offering solid, practical advice. After hearing and understand dog my my vision, the consultant ended up finding THE perfect dress. I went into the shop thinking I wasn't going to find the dress of my dreams (due to other experiences at other bridal shops), but I left that day completely fulfilled and confident I found my dream dress. I ended up having to push my wedding date due to COVID-19, and the staff at Marwin were nothing but understanding and willing to work with me. They were extremely responsive when I inquired about my options, and I never felt ignored. Once I had my first fitting, the dress fit perfectly with only minor alterations needed. They were also willing to meet my requests to make my dress more customizable for me. I cannot recommend Marwin Bridal enough to future brides. I am unfortunately a covid bride. We were engaged early this year and jumped right into wedding planning. I was able to go dress shopping "twice" and I put twice in quotes because the last shopping experience was an awful one that I try to pretend didn't happen. I hurried and purchased a dress that I liked at my first appointment for fear of not having any dress at all. Since we have to postpone our wedding, I'm able to continue the dress search that was previously interrupted. I had an appointment scheduled at Marwin right after the shutdown. I just finally rescheduled and had my appointment yesterday. I literally can't say enough good things about Marwin. They were incredibly easy to reschedule with and went above and beyond to be accommodating and make us all feel safe. The bridal salon itself is clean, beautiful and spacious. When we arrived, the door was locked to prevent actual walk-in customers which I appreciated. There was hand sanitizer available throughout and everyone was masked. They were only taking 1 bride at a time to limit the amount of people inside and it made for an absolutely incredibly special experience. My mom and aunt joined me for the appointment and there was plenty of space for us all to be there while social distancing. We were allowed to pull dresses too which was really fun! I learned from my previous shopping that a consultant can make or break the experience and my consultant was fabulous. She knew their inventory and somehow read my mind to help me narrow dresses down to my favorite. She efficiently got me and in and out of dresses so quickly so that I was able to try in literally as many as I wanted. I never felt rushed. I never felt pressured. She was unbiased, while being incredibly supportive and complimentary. I also loved that any dress that I tried on was sanitized before being rehung for the next person. I was shocked that this didn't limit the amount of dresses I could try on and that people weren't trying to deter me from trying more on just to save them some time. Loved the selection of GORGEOUS dresses. Jamie was so nice and helpful and patient! I thought I had found the dress but wasn't sure. Jamie told me she had in a different color and helped me in to it, then helped me in to one more I had really wanted to try on and then back to THE DRESS, all with a smile on her face :) Looking forward to coming in for my alterations because everyone is so nice. I can't give Marwin enough stars! I thought they had the best selection of dresses around. They didn't try to fill their store with as many dresses as they could like other stores do, but with the most elegant ones. Their prices are also extremely reasonable. They have a ton of beautiful dresses on sale, I happened to buy mine, an Essence of Australia, on sale. The women who work there are so kind and sweet. They weren't pushy like a lot of the other bridal stores are. They were so extremely helpful through picking my dress and through every fitting appointment. I absolutely loved them!!! read more

MarWin Bridal was the closest consignment wedding shop, so that's what drove me there. Once I walked through the front doors, I was immediately greeted and shown to where I could find the dresses in my price range. I found my dress within 5 minutes of looking, but tried some more just to get some feel.... I walked out with the dress of my dreams! So in love with my dress! Jamie (the shop owner) assisted me in my private appointment (which was of NO extra cost!) She was wonderful to work with and really paid attention to what I liked and disliked about every dress I tried and helped me find my dream dress. This family owned shop takes pride in their work and they have gorgeous inventory. Alterations were a bit of a snag with scheduling. I live out of state and traveled and took time off work to accommodate their scheduling for alterations and then they cancelled my last fitting saying the seamstress wouldn't be in and ultimately, she hadn't finished my dress. After complaining and calling them back several times on my own, I was able to go in and they had not yet finished the work when I went in for my last fitting, but when they did it was all done very well. Since it all turned out ok and I was happy with the work, I think it was a wash and I wasn't upset. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of wiggle room with the alterations timeline and check in on the status of your dress often. read more
