I was liking 2 of the Cartier watches and I chose the Panthere to purchase that day. I went again for their official grand opening, to look for something for my milestone birthday coming up. I like to buy myself something special each year or a trip. I'd been looking all over NYC and online for some art deco pieces and found 2 beautiful Penny Preville pieces. I requested to work with Noel again because she is so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I initially was thinking I would get a bigger watch and once she showed me the art deco diamond Penny Preville pieces, I knew that's what I was going to buy! She has multiple pieces that you could make into a set or buy individually. I chose the larger ring and medium necklace from her 50th year of designing collection. I LOVE them! While the watch was fully functional when I dropped it off, it was returned to me inoperable. It became clear that, despite their authorized status, Orr's lacked the technical proficiency required to replace a battery and re-set a watch with the delicate Caliber 212P quartz chronograph movement. I ultimately had to take the watch to Cartier directly to repair the damage that Orr's caused. My point: If you do not have the expertise to handle a specific movement, it's OK to just say so rather than risk damaging a client's timepiece.

The first week went by with nothing, so we called. He said the stones were a weird size so he had to order different ones, and it would be ready the following Thursday. That Thursday came around and still 0 COMMUNICATION. We called in again, to hear the same thing. That the stones they ordered were not the right size and they would keep in touch. No word AGAIN so we stopped by on Wednesday to see if it was going to be ready for the next day. They said yes and to come get it tomorrow (today). After 3 weeks of being in their hands, I figured it was going to be perfect. ABSOLUTELY NOT. He DESTROYED my engagement ring. The stones do not match at all, bumpy, THE RING IS CROOKED and bent on the inside. It's the WORST job I've ever seen. We walked right back in and got our money back. But he still didn't admit to his mistakes. Said my ring was a "nightmare" and told my fiance when he was ready to come buy a new ring to come to him. WTF. I got one quote at the first business - which was good, and then took my loot to Mark. His quote was a little bit higher on the exact items.
