The Monday after Mother's Day, I assumed the store would be packed with soon to be brides, to my surprise there were about 2 customers being assisted. There was about a 5 minute wait until I was greeted, due to the lady at the front desk assisting a customer on the phone. I signed the Walk-In form and waited about another 5 minutes to be assisted by Ana. As a curvy girl, I was surprised with the amount of dresses they had in-store in my size. I came in with a particular dress in mind, I knew it would be far fetched if they had the exact color and size, so I was prepared to place my order. I was unsure of my size and Ana was able to find me the exact dress in 3 different sizes (my size, one size below, and one size above) so I can find the perfect fit. I was able to place my order for my bridesmaid dress and the estimated shipping time would be about 3 weeks and additional time if alternations are needed. Mr. Honey and Ana were a pleasure to work with and I am super excited to receive my dress! I will revise and update once my dress arrives. read more

Great prices. Decent variety of styles. Not a friendly atmosphere and my stylist was rushing me and seemed distracted and dismissive. I felt as if she was just there to hand me the dresses and didn't offer advice on different styles I might like. Overall a mediocre experience and I didn't find any dresses I liked. I'll start by saying, I did not find THE bridesmaids dress; but felt it important to leave a review. Employee Edna greeted me upon arrival, even though she was helping 2 other brides that were "walk ins." She was not only friendly & helpful, but checked in on my multiple times. I went to this location even thought I saw the poor/dismal reviews. If you're considering this location, I'd say give it a chance. After all the issues with the 1st dress we went back in to try on replacement dress and decided on new dress all together. Meagan help find the new dress which was even better than the 1st one. She help get Natalie.to help with the exchange process who was aware of the situation with 1st dress disaster. Both were amazing and helped us through the whole process until Rosa the amazing alterations manager took it back for alterations. Horrible experience, customer service and they refused to take my return back! I called early January to schedule an appointment for four ladies. I am the bride and I had three other people coming with me. I explained to the person that answered the phone that the people coming are guest at the wedding and not a bridal party. They said we still needed an appointment and so we went ahead and scheduled one. On the day of the appointment, we arrived about 10 minutes early and they seemed confused as to why we scheduled an appointment. I explained to them that we wanted to look at all their dress options and try on the ones we liked. We ended up having to help each other zip our dresses up because the person that was assigned to us for our appointment was too busy helping someone else but no problem we were there to help each other! I went ahead and purchased four dresses for myself. These are little white dresses for bridal parties. I am the bride. The people that joined me also purchased a dress for themselves. Before paying I asked if they could clean one of the dresses because it was the only one in my size and it had some dirty marks. They said I would have to pay $40 something dollars to spot clean it. I said no, I am not paying that and I'm about to spend over $500 on dresses and I did not dirty the dress. They were whispering amongst themselves and their attitude changed. One girl took the dress back and the other asked for my payment but didn't tell me if they were cleaning it or not so I asked before paying and she just nodded her head with no eye contact. A couple of days later I was returning one dress I knew for sure I was not going to keep because the cups in the chest area were very see through in the day light. When I grabbed my receipt I noticed I was charged for 4 dresses but 2 of them were charged under the same sku/barcode.. all the dresses were different. I explained that to the manager when I arrived at the store to return the one dress. She proceeded to take the original receipt and print out a new one and went ahead and accepted the return. Fast forward to today when I decided that I was not keeping the other two dresses and just keeping one keep in mind. I'm still within the 30 day window for returns. Nataly who claimed to be the store manager refused to take my return due to the sku/barcode on the receipt and proceeded to call another store and complain about my return request in front of me. She raised her voice and was being extremely aggressive. During her call with the other store she said "whoever rang her up messed it all up", yet she still declined my return. I called and texted customer service. The customer service phone number is not in service and the text service said it would be escalated but requires 72 hours. This store needs a manager with good customer service and needs to retrain these terrible employees! There are cameras at this store which I asked Nataly to pull the footage of that day and see what I took with me versus what was on the receipt, she just said no. read more

Everyone but Marion and the two people that checked us out at the front were terribly rude and impatient. Nobody offered to help us, they all just stood and stared, and the manager told us that we were "ruining the aesthetic" when we were trying on dresses. She also told us that all 20 dressing rooms were going to be full by 1:30, so that we needed to hurry. However, when we left at 1:40, only 3 dressing rooms were full. I did not expect to react that way but damn, my daughter looked so beautiful. The price was incredible as well!! Only $550 then $50 off for dresses over $500. Shady company. They took advantage of my mother in law. She was a seamstress with over 30 years experience. Did great work for David's bridal. She had multiple problems with her paycheck. Manager said she was working on it but did nothing. After many months I personally called the manager. The manager admitted she dropped the ball and was going to get this resolved, but it would take time to review. She then strung me along until the 1 year mark, then would no longer take my call. Come to find out we would have needed to file a complaint within 1 year per state law to recover unpaid wages. Very sad they are taking advantage of people like this. Please find another company to give your money to. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! THE WORST PLACE EVER!! Being a first-time bride, your first bridal appointment, you expect the best appointment. You DEFINITELY will not get that here. You will be assigned a sales girl who is new and doesn't want to do anything. She will ask you what kind of dress you like to get a few samples. Let your friends get a few. When it comes to trying it on well, you're on your own. The rooms are dirty at 10:30 am when they first open up. It's such a shame. I started on April 23 for my wedding on October 19th. They told me that my dress would be ready in September and I was shocked and reminded her when my wedding was and she double-checked the order and said, "Oh wait, it will be here in August. It arrived on August 24th, we went to try it on only to find out that the sales person ordered it one size too big. I was so upset the manager was able to magically order me a new one, and it got here in one month. With only 3 weeks for me to get it altered. I asked the manager if they would pay for the alterations because of all the issues she told me that they couldn't it's at totally different service but she could give me a 10% discount and more money off my dress. When I came to get my dress, I told the kid who was working who I was and asked if the manager was there, and they said they were. I said they pulled my dress. The kid returned with my dress and asked me if I wanted to try it on. I told him I did. He took me to a dressing room and disappeared. I tried on my dress it fit, but it was going to need a few alterations, and my bustle was done. My mother and I decided that we weren't going to have them do it due to the fact we only have 3 weeks to get it done. We don't need any more issues. I got dressed and went to the register where the kid was and said okay I'm done." He said ok, bye. We left.. I started to think on my drive home he didn't ask for an id or copy of a receipt like they did the first time. How does he know it was really me and not a disgruntled bridesmaid who pretended to be me. We all tell our bridesmaids everything. Also, the manager didn't come out to make sure that everything was okay. What happened to customer service. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Firstly, I was extremely disappointed because this was the very first time I was going to be trying on wedding dresses. We were never greeted when we entered the establishment. We had an appointment and no one was available. We were first told they have to find the person who was scheduled to help us. Then another employee told us that our appointment was at noon and not 11am, even though we had spoken to someone the day before and confirmed the appointment time. They also did not have my 3 guests listed and stated it was only 1 person to be in the "group". During the 30-40 mins we spent there, there was a total of 4 complaints from other people. Either about dresses being seriously delayed or the wrong size dress ordered. We were even told by a customer to "run while we can" because her daughter's wedding dress was ordered the complete wrong size and her wedding is 5 weeks away. There was not a single happy face from the employees. We found out after about 15-20 minutes they were actually running behind, which was probably the reason we were told our appointment was at 12 and not 11 (probably lying to us). We were so taken aback by all of the complaints within the time frame, we eneded up walking out without trying on dresses. Beyond disappointed and will never return. read more

Horrible experience so far with David's Bridal. I had an appt on Feb 18 and upon arrival no one was available to help me. That should have been my first clue but it was Sunday and I thought maybe they were short staffed. After browsing for 30 minutes we finally had to go find someone and ask if we would be helped. Finally a girl came to help but said she was new and didn't know much...luckily I had already chosen a few to try on and she went to the back and prepared my fitting room. There was absolutely no help in selecting a dress. I found THE dress pretty quickly and then moved onto the ordering stage. While ordering the alterations lady was there and questioned why the girl was ordering a large size and she disagreed with that. She had me go back and out the dress on and determined they should order a size 14 instead of 16. I appreciated Rosas input. She was the only person there who was helpful that day. My wedding date is April 27 so we discussed the timing of the dress and alterations timing. They assured me all would be fine... dress will be ready March 18, alterations appt set for March 18th too and that would allow enough time for pick up early April. Flash forward to March 18...I had to call in the morning to request a reschedule for the alterations appt that day. When I called in I discovered that the dress has not been delivered yet. I asked when was someone going to call me and let me know as my appt was supposed to be today? The girl looked it up and said it's still in process and she would have someone call me later in the day. I waited and no call back and I had to call in again. Now they said dress will be here March 22. Disappointed but ok...Here we are March 22..I arrive at the store and go to the alterations and it must be a new employee because it was so much confusion with multiple customers. Finally get the dress, put it on and there's a bright red makeup stain on the back, pen mark on the side and makeup stains on the front !! It is not a new dress. Rosa comes to check it out and says she's going to get a manager. Waiting again for the manager to come, Natalie. She determines that the dress is from another store, she apologizes and I also tell her the above situation. She says their QC people must have missed it and didn't realize it was damaged. Dress is now "reordered" and will be here on 3/26. I'm very confused how this is happening. I have waited a month only to be shown a dirty sample dress. I'm pretty much at a loss right now on what to do and probably need to look for a backup dress. I would not trust this company or recommend to anyone. read more

The manager with braids and an accent was down right awful and disrespectful. She took 20 minutes to look for a pair of shoes that I wanted. Then she walked over with the one shoe, sat it on the desk and continued to check out another customer. She then answered the store phone while checking out the customers she had right in front of her and was on the phone for about 10 minutes disregarding the people in front of her. After she got off the phone she then looked at me and asked if i needed anything.... the audacity. I asked if she had the size and she said they did not as she was still ignoring the people right in front of her. I was so disappointed to find out that she was the manger. As a bride to be absolutely NO WOMEN should be treated like this especially going to a store specifically for them. I wanted to cry. I cannot phantom who left her in charge. I am beyond appalled. Megan who is a 5 star employee working in 1 star conditions! Part 1:1 star IF you have to come to this store, do yourself a favor and stay away from Natalie. I came to assist my cousin who is the mother of the bride. She was helped by Natalie in the afternoon and we asked to hold the dress so we could look at one more store. We did come back to purchase the dress later that evening. I noticed 2 stains on the back of the dress. I mentioned it to Natalie. This upset her so much she asked Megan, who was amazing, to assist us before storming off. Megan apologized for her coworker's behavior and started to help us. When the manager came out to the floor, we actually thought that she was going to apologize for Natalie's behavior as well. Instead, she allowed Natalie to complain to her about us finding the stain loudly. I told Natalie that we could hear her and she yelled at us " I wanted you to". Now one would think that this is unacceptable behavior from an adult let alone an employee. Right? Surely, the manager is going to apologize on behalf of her employee. After this exchange, the manager stood in front of the register so that Megan couldn't finish ordering a new dress for my cousin. IF we could of found another dress that would arrive on time, we would have left. Part 2: "The A Team" 5 star Back to our lady hero...Megan politely asked us to go to another register that was near the dressing rooms so she could finish ordering a new dress for my cousin. They have a sweet alterations woman named Rosa who helped us during the purchasing process. The heroes of the day were Megan & Rosa!!! I was extremely impressed how professional Megan was but moreover how she pivoted us away from further unpleasantness that her manager allowed. Megan is a valuable asset to this company. Please make an appointment with these two wonderful ladies, if you have to shop at this location. A wedding is a joyous occasion and shouldn't be ruined by anyone's disposition. read more

Man are they busy! Came here with a bride-to-be on a weekday at 4p. She made an appointment same day only hours before and we were surprised they were able to schedule her no problem. Upon arrival we checked in and were quickly given the low-down on how to select dresses. We were initially told to take pictures of the tags of the dresses to show our attendant, but later our attendant told us taking pictures of the tags doesn't help them at all and was a waste of time. So we searched for dresses twice to relocate all the ones with tags we took photos of...and didn't find them all. Le sigh. That was pretty much the only miscommunication flop. The attendant who escorted the future bride to the dressing room was also assisting a couple of other brides and having to walk back and forth. Whew! A lot of work. Bless their hearts, seriously. I should probably add a star for endurance lol. David's Bridal is kind of like the Wal-Mart of bridal boutiques. You can find something nice for a good deal, but everybody and their mama is up in there to get it too. If you're looking for a more intimate experience, shop elsewhere. Our attendant was kind and did well recommending dresses in the future bride's style of choice, but we still knew we were kind of a number. To each it's own. Rude customer service I had an appt to help a relative of mine find a dress for my wedding and these people act like your bothering them if you ask for anything. And this was even with an appt that was scheduled the store wasn't busy. I was treated a lot better when I went to the galleria location then this location. Their is nothing you can try on unless they have your size on the floor, you can't order it either because the availability of the dresses is little to none. Extremely disappointed! The day before my wedding (Thanksgiving Day) I attempted to try on the dress I purchased and the store Alarm was still on the dress!! More over the zipper is unraveling from the dress and was no longer zipping up! I immediately go to the David's Bridal store just to find it had closed early for the Thanksgiving holiday. I contacted their customer service via text (which was probably the only good that came out of this ordeal) Steve from customer service was very supportive and sympathetic to my situation. I ended up with no choice but to run to Macy's which is very limited in Plus Sizes. I literally got married the next day in a dress that was not my first choice. After all of this, I went back to David's Bridal to return the dress I'd purchased. Before I could explain their mistake and why I was returning the dress, I am told I couldn't return the dress because of their 7 day policy. I felt like this girl put salt in my already open wound. I quickly told her I was going to to get my refund because they had sold me a defective dress with the alarm still on and that their customer service dept. had already agreed I deserved one! She then ushers me to the next girl at the register and AGAIN she starts in with the no refund policy. I was fuming, offended and disheartened at the lack of responsibility these folks were taking. So again I explained myself, by this time am holding my tears back. They then say there are no notes in the system... WOW!! Luckily I still had the text messages from customer service. I had to show them my proof, before these folks would even do the right thing and give me a refund. The cashier then tried to apologize and do small talk with me but by then I just felt even worse then I had when I was running around trying to find an alternative wedding dress. Moral of the story is if your business is people, train your employees to perfect customer service! Your policies don't keep the doors open nor do they keep folks coming back to you. I had an amazing experience!! I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend for her wedding at a different location and the experience was awful. My consultant was amazing she knew I felt awkward and had no idea what I wanted so grabbed a couple different looks. And really helped me have a wonderful shopping experience. She was so sweet and knew just what to say to make me feel comfortable it was like shopping with a friend!! After I said yes to the dress she continued helping me with a maid of honor dress and really got us all hooked up with the perfect dress. Then when the order was incorrect she made sure to fix it immediately. She explained how everything was priced and some of her recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone. I agree with the other reviewers in that they initially have you take pictures of the tags on dresses you like which is pointless. I found about 20 different ones I liked and when the stylist came up she asked me to show her what I liked. Well at that point I had seen so many, I couldn't remember where all of them were??? So I just started grabbing the last few I remembered. When we initially met her I explained that I was already married. She said "Why are you here then?" ... I explained that I needed a white dress for our reception party. Almost left at that point but the stylist was getting dragged around prior to that with another family that seemed upset (so maybe she was just tired/upset?) The trying on process is a little strange because other people get to see everything you try on- it's not private at all. There are also no mirrors in the changing room so you have to put the dress on and walk out on what feels like a stage in front of everyone. Luckily I stumbled upon my dress after only trying on 4. Be mindful that most the dresses have makeup stains on them. A few were also ripped or the zipper stuck on the fabric. My stylist also said that they only have what is out for clearance items- as in items can't be ordered. My dress was 399.99 marked down from 699.99 and I found it on the back clearance wall. Overall, I feel for the workers here, they are running around ragged dealing with lots of customers at once (that oftentimes aren't very nice). I think I just got lucky that I found what I liked. I definitely recommend a weekday night appointment as well because it gets pretty busy. Also recommend checking out alterations at another place as they get pretty pricy here. I ended up taking my dress to Nordstrom's to get the length down a bit. read more

A sleeve was missing from my dress! My mom and maid of honor were looking for a dress and NO one even ask if they needed help and it wasn't even busy at this time!
