An absolutely amazing antique shop! Nothing like it anywhere near here. They have everything,…read moretables, chairs, blanket chests, baskets, stoneware, Native American items, etc. Everything is in great condition and the store itself is just a joy to walk around and browse. This was the place I wanted to retire from. My entire heart was here. When I left and others retired or moved on, I noticed lots of changes. Some for the better and some not. I saw the prices start to go up more and more. This wasn't something I was happy about. LISTEN CS stood for "Lebanon In Service to Each Neighbor" when I was there, the crew took that seriously and helped more than they could w everything. As it started to get a younger crew running the show (the higher ups) the prices were something you'd see at a retail store. It's so sad. This is supposed to be a place for lower income families and individuals to come and get great stuff that they can afford. It's not a Macy's or LL Bean. It's a THRIFT STORE. Although the money they make from the stores is supposed to go back to the community, to their programs that help with holidays, back to school, heating, housing, food and more it is no excuse to price gouge. Some of the people pricing the items need to understand the price list better. They're just pricing what they think rather than follow a pricing list. Please, think about this review and help get the prices back down. Using a reasonable pricing list will gain more people. We WANT to shop here and knowing how the money is used, we want to shop even MORE. But we can't do that with the way things are now. I love Listen, what they stand for and the people that truly work there to help the public. Ruthie & Barb are some of the few that have been there since the beginning, when I was going to work with my mom. Ruthie has been there since I can remember. I'm not sure if she still is, but she is someone super special to me and always will be. Barb is too. They saw Listen for what it was and helped make it what it is atleast the best parts of it. Thank you ladies, you are what Listen stands for in the core of it.

Not only is this a gorgeous art gallery, but it's a very unique AirBnB as well! I mean, how often…read moredo you get to stay in a studio suite located INSIDE an art gallery?? I felt like I was in Night at the Museum after business hours haha!! The hostess, Lee Ann and her husband were the sweetest, most considerate hosts I've ever had!! Not only were they extremely thorough, communicative, and available, but they made me feel so welcome and at home! They even had a basket full of goodies waiting for me - including some incredible varieties of homemade muffins that were some of the best I've ever had! The suite is located just off to the side inside the actual art gallery but there's plenty of privacy - you can enter through the gallery or through your own private back door so it's totally not an issue. The suite itself was immaculate and HUGE!! Especially the bathroom!! Complete with a dining table, couch and little sink/microwave/fridge area. The WiFi worked well - no issues. And the TV even had nice cable available. But there's so much to keep you busy in the area I hardly watched it. There's a perfect porch off the suite with patio seating, a grill, and incredible views of the mountains! I was there in early October and was just a tad too early for peak fall colors - but the color was starting to come in. I imagine it's positively breathtaking at peak fall color!! And they had some hummingbird feeders outside the windows which was such a joy!! The grounds are extensive - there's a huge field outback with a river at the base of the mountains - tons of birds chirping! The gallery is also centrally located in proximity to tons of ski areas and lovely towns/cities like Montpellier, Woodstock, Killington, etc. Great location!! The suite is very handicap accessible- even the bathroom and shower - very well set up for it. Parking is in their private gravel lot outside the gallery. The art work is just lovely as well and made by the hosts - so talented!! I had such an awesome experience- can't say enough good stuff about it! I will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area!

Pleasant friendly staff. Picnic tables to bring your own food. Would love to go back next time we're in VT. Very reasonably priced Adoption program if looking for a gift. Nice souvenir shop. For a $2 off per ticket, pick up a VINS 5x9 card in racks showing local attractions.

Besides the beautiful rescue stories and gorgeous creatures living here, the nature walk and look out tower is another fun experience! There is a netted trampoline that is many feet up towards the back of the nature walk. It gives kids cool views of down below and is fun to prance on top of! The look out tower walk up is a great work out for the adults and the promising view up top is worth it. The gift store has some lovely treasures as well. I hope we can visit again soon!

Terrible business…read more They had my son's body because the New Hampshire coroner placed him there, after my son's unexpected death. We would have had Rickers cremate the body, but they were asking in excess of $3000 to take care of the body. They refused to compromise or talk with us. We tried to meet with the director and he blew us off. It felt insulting. My son's body sat in Rickers refrigerator until we arranged for a different funeral home to perform the cremation. The other funeral home charged a little over $1000. I have never gotten over this bad experience with Rickers. It breaks my heart to think of this.
