This RV has a standard Chevy small block engine--not difficult to work on or to find parts for. When I was finally able to drive it out, backfiring, sputtering, and not picking up speed, I brought it to a good mechanic. There, I was informed that the block was no good. When I tried to contact Sadler's, I was told to call someone else, then my calls went unanswered. The quality of work was so poor, that I had several other mechanics work on it just so I could get it home. Now, I can no longer use my RV which is very critical to the work I do. This mechanic has single handedly destroyed my life due to his incompetence. He also replaced good parts on my engine with cheap, after market parts, and parts that were incorrect.

Based on the text messages I read and the voice mails I listened to, this guy had never worked on my son's make and model of vehicle. He had to pay dealership prices for a part that he did not know that he had to replace as part of the service, or a mistake he made. He then sent my son an invoice for 800 dollars over the quote. To make a tough situation even worse, the air conditioner was knocked out and made driving unbearable in the Texas summer. After dealing with frustrating and unhelpful repair shops, and being told that there was no availability until end of August (apparently due to hail storm damage from earlier this year), I found Schnitker Body Repair. From the moment I called, Bob was very helpful and worked with me through the process. He met with the insurance adjuster and spent a good amount of time going through the details of the needed repairs, ensuring that everything was covered. When I spoke with the insurance adjuster afterwards, he even made a comment about how good of a guy Bob was in making sure the estimate was fair and thorough. I thought that was a really cool thing to hear. The damage ended up being pretty extensive but Bob made sure that the smallest details were taken care of and I can honestly say that my car looks as good as new - you can't even tell that anything happened to it!
