This was actually my first time visiting any Palgong Tea but after a recommendation from a friend, I couldn't keep putting off visiting this store because I was already somewhat in the area :D When I walked in, one of the workers was hard at work taking promo shots for new drinks that were incoming. (he ended up giving us a few of the drinks to take with us to try but shhhhh) A different worker helped us during our visit to the store and she was extremely friendly! I ended up getting my standard drink of -[OOLONG MILK TEA] in large $4.49 with the least amount of ice and sugar possible! I usually always go for this flavor of milk tea because Oolong is one of my favorite flavors of tea to drink. This is usually how I establish a baseline to see whether or not I'll be back to try some more adventurous drinks! Inside has a lot of seating options and the decor is modern. They also have free wifi (pw: 80808080). The staff are very friendly and helpful when deciding which drink to get. We got the mango black tea with milk foam and mango smoothie with pineapple jelly. The mango black tea was so good! It is now one of my favourites. You can taste the mango pulp in the drink, and the milk foam is a nice touch. The mango smoothie was average, nothing outstanding. However, the pineapple jelly was different and went well with the smoothie. A bonus is that their prices are not as expensive as the big chains here like Coco, Chatime, etc. Great place for good and reasonably priced bubble tea. Would recommend you give it a try!

I did not know Chatime has an innovation bar. I know certain chains (for instance, Tim Hortons) have fancier versions of their staple store where they offer a more creative menu, but I did not know Chatime had the same deal, so I was very excited. Walking in, it already feels more upscale than a regular Chatime. They have a display of macarons and other desserts. The store looks clean and well-maintained. There is a counter to put your drink on but there's not really a sitting area. I was excited to get my drink. There was a matcha honey drink that I wanted to try that I forgot the name of, but they didn't have it in stock. Luckily, the menu was so extensive that there were multiple things I wanted to try. I ended up ordering the Matcha Ube Tea instead. They made my drink fairly quickly. I didn't get to drink my tea until I got home because I got a defective straw and didn't notice until I was on the subway, so I couldn't poke it into my drink. Do note that their straws are made of flimsy paper material that isn't very durable. I would advise drinking at the store so if you get a defective straw, you can get a replacement. The drink was quite good! A great mix of ube and matcha. Not too overly sweet. It makes me want to come back and try new flavours if I'm ever in the area!

Today is iTea One. They are located inside the twin finger towers at 4750 Yonge Street. The finger towers are two tall green condos with curved penthouses. The bottom of the building are shops and offices. There is even an LCBO inside the place. iTea One is on the west side. Walk into the little shop that stands in the center of the pathway. Fresh citrus and other fruits are present - always a nice thing to see. Two friendly shop owners greeted us and asked for our order. I was looking forward to their New Double Roasted Milk Tea. My kid, who just polished off a Johnny's Banquet Burger with Fries and Gravy, eyed himself a Pearl Strawberry Latte. The osmanthus oolong was quite lovely, with a fruity floral aspect to it. I'm a bit disappointed that this drink is mostly just a tea bag + sweetened milk, but the flavour is quite unique regardless. The strawberry golden shake was actually so interesting. It literally tastes like liquid strawberry cheesecake, which is may not sound delicious, but it's super delicious! I definitely recommend coming here to try some unique and interesting bubble tea flavours!

I did a search and found Lucky Tea and CoCo nearby. We decided to try Lucky Tea. I used Google Maps to get us here. It was bad. It told me to park behind Btrust Supermarket. Sure, we had stuffed ourselves at the all-you-can-eat hot pot and needed exercise. I wasn't expecting this much of it! We walked around the supermarket until we found an entrance. We then cut through what felt like the largest Asian supermarket until we got to the other entrance. We then saw Red Lotus Restaurant with a sign for Lucky Tea. Lucky Tea is located on the right when you enter Red Lotus Restaurant. No one was there, so someone at the restaurant had to fetch a female staffer to help us out. The digital menu looked good. However, when we looked at the physical menus, half the items were unavailable. My friend got the lemon yakult. I went with the supreme grape. Both are fixed as far as size, ice, and sugar levels go. I paid for both our drinks, as I owed my friend money from the hot pot. The woman had to fetch the payment machine so I could pay with a credit card. Once the machine was in front of me, I tapped and all was good. We watched this woman make our drinks. She was skilled and efficient making them. She gave us straws. We thanked her and left. My friend enjoyed his lemon yakult. He finished it as I drove us back to work. He liked how the yogurt complimented the tart lemon. I got the grape supreme. It's yogurt with grapes and ice blended together. I enjoyed it immensely. It's not my typical drink, but I'm glad that I went with it. I didn't realize hours later that I'd end up with a stomach ulcer. The yogurt in this drink likely disguised some of the pain and symptoms that I had. It was interesting seeing the World Tea House seal on our drinks. They are likely related. Now that I know where this tea place is, I'd go back and sample whatever is left on the menu. I ordered the Tofu Milk Bobo, Lucky Ovaltine and Red Oolong Milk Tea. The Tofu Milk Bobo was silky smooth and creamy. It's very authentic to what I expected it to be. The Lucky Ovaltine is a nice drink to have to beat the heat. I like how they lined the cup and topped the drink up with even more Ovaltine. The Red Oolong Milk Tea was a bit weak in my opinion. Overall, it's a nice place to grab something quick to drink.

He said "Yes". while looking down and preparing a label/doing something for a takeout order. If a Customer is standing right in front of you, shouldn't you be taking their order, not putting a label on a drink? Anyway, cashier was just preoccupied doing something else and just walks away, saying that he'll be right back. When he finally comes back and scans my App, he says, "Oh, you haven't made a purchase recently...I can't give you a free drink.
