The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Let me start off with the Good, I now have a really nice looking paint job on my pickup truck. The Bad part is I took my truck in to their shop back in July 2023, the manager and I went over in detail as to what needed to be done. He gave me a price for the work that I thought was fair, I left it at the shop and the manager told me he would need a week to complete the work. One week went by and I gave him a call and he told me he was short handed and needed a few more days, I was good with that so in another week called again and same thing. Ended up being three weeks, I went to pick it up and I was pretty upset with the quality of work that was done but I needed my truck due to a vacation we had planned and had to have it to pull the RV trailer. The paint job itself looked good but the prep work was terrible, on the other hand the truck is more a work truck so I figured I would live with it as is. Now comes the Ugly part of the story, months later I was up in the bed of the truck and I noticed the roof of the cab was never repainted at all and the old clear coat had started peeling off. Now I was pissed, I drove it straight back to their shop and pointed it out to the manager. He agreed to paint it and correct the rest of the issues as well and asked that I bring it back to him on January 8th of 2024. When I took it to him on the 8th I was informed that he was no longer working their, the gentleman I was talking to informed me that he was the owner of the shop and asked me what the problem was. I pointed out all the issues and told him that to top it off the roof had not been pained at all. The owner agreed that the paint job was very poor and wanted to correct it all for me And asked if I could leave it there but it would take about a week and a half. Well I just picked it up today, February 8th. One month later I did get it back and it looks really great now. BTW, when I picked up my truck they had another truck in there that was getting a redo for the same reasons as mine, poor workmanship from when they had the MANAGER in there. This business needs to be shut down. I now have to pay $1,500 to fix the "repair job" completed by this body shop. This was a full coverage insurance job and my deductible was paid. The new paint looks like orange peel and now my door controls don't work properly. I have given this company going on 3 and a half months to correct this issue. The owner has been very pleasant but I am to the point that pleasant doesn't fix my vehicle. I have contacted, the chamber of commerce, better business bureau, and a lawyer. Anyone else victimized by this company needs to do the same. read more

I'm posting this review for my father as he had some minor body work done to his 1987 F150. The body shop ordered a new front bumper, signal light, and right front fender with paint and supplies. My father claimed the damage on his insurance. With that in mind, the body shop kept the truck for almost 6 weeks and still hand not completed the work. the shop charged for a new fender, but installed the old one. the new bumper was not securely mounted and 2 of the 4 bolts were only hand tightened. bumper guards were installed wrong (had to reinstall at home). My father had to take the truck back to have the rework done. Fortunately, my father has done body work in the past and caught the body shop RED HANDED in a lie about the new fender (he got the cost of the fender dropped from his bill), but installed the old one. Davis Brothers used to be a reputable business, but they sold out and the new owner is ruining the name. Spread the word about this business and don't ever take your vehicle there for repair. This body shop needs to be run out of town! read more
