We are in ongoing disputes over a couple issues that will likely be escalated unless matters are resolved.

I brought my girlfriends car here for a wheel alignment and Shahraz Cokar was extremely rude, got…read moreand got in my face. A man child like that has no business working in a service industry. I overall had a terrible experience with this sad excuse for a mechanics shop today. The technicians are competent but the owner is a small greedy man. They truly wasted our entire day in the rudest way possible. And i recently found out Shahraz is not even a registered salesperson with AMVIC, and he has not been since 2021!! I had a tire blow out on the highway this morning and i got a temporary tire put on while i was in airdrie. The tire shop told me to get an alignment done because driving on the flat caused some damage. Shahraz told me they had an opening to do my alignment at 2pm, but they said if i drop the car off early they could finish it faster. I dropped the car off at 8:30am and didn't hear back from them until 3:30pm. They called and said they are not interested in actually doing the alignment because of the damage caused by driving on a flat tire. They also demanded 136$ cash to return my girlfriends van to me. If they knew beforehand they did not want to work on damaged cars they shouldn't have accepted the van for the alignment in the first place. I told him we needed the alignment done today to make it back to our city, because I couldn't drive with the damage and no alignment. (Its a 45 minute drive) He initially said it would be no problem, but when i told him I wasn't going to pay 136$ and not have any work done he said I had to pay in full, cash today, or he would keep the car. He said the reason he couldn't do the alignment is because i would somehow sue him for the damage on the car and blame him for the damage. I told him what happened prior and he listed some of the damages on the invoice, so this reasoning doesn't make sense to me. He said the $136 bill was for his time and labour. I asked him what he actually did since he didn't do the alignment and he said he printed the alignment report from his alignment machine and wrote the invoice. I think charging 136 for only writing the invoice and not actually doing work is insane. The most baffling part to me is that he would get into my face yelling about how he should've never touched this car and how trash it is when he never worked on it in the first place. If i could leave 0 stars i could. This is basically extortion. And it is an extremely shady way to operate a business. Next time, i will wait the extra 2 hours for an appointment at Kal tire. Update: my trusted mechanic has identified that the ball joint was not damaged or even warn out. Just the bushings on the lower control arm. Just to add another layer to the plot of incompetence at this shop. I will absolutely be filing with AMVIC and the better business bureau if not refunded because this is ridiculous

Well the appointment started out ok but ended up a complete and utter disappointment. Will never…read moreever return. Got a coupon on back of my Safeway receipt for an oil change $39.99 so I called to make sure I didn't need an appointment. Went over one Tuesday afternoon. They said they could fit me in within the hour and it would take another hour to do the oil change. I parked my butt on the chair in the waiting room hoping they would get my vehicle in sooner rather than later but no such luck. It was 5 minutes before the hour before they brought my van into the shop to start. In the meantime, I had a coffee and read on my iPad. They asked if I wanted the air filter changed too and I said Yes. That was the beginning of the end. They said it was coming over from Napa and that was what they were waiting for. And waiting. And waiting. I was getting rather annoyed that the oil change was done but we were still waiting for the stupid air filter. I got on the phone and called Napa myself and they said they didn't have an order for it. Turns out they ordered it from Princess Auto. At this point, I'd had enough and said just put the old one back in and I want to get out of here. Waiting for almost half an hour for nothing was not working for me. I went up to pay and it was over $50. What a crock of shit. They charge $3 just to top off the fluids. Seriously? They should give me the whole damn jug of washer fluid if that's what it costs. It wasn't even low but that's how they make their money. It wasn't worth the time or effort to go here. Took wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long and cost just as much as the quick oil change places. Yes they were very friendly (actually friendly to the point of being sickly sweet and that get annoying after listening to them for 2 1/2 hours) but it's not worth it in the end. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Transparency, Inspection, and Safety Oversights…read moreMy first review was based off excitement and a smooth buying process until ... ... I recently purchased a truck from this dealership, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The truck was supposedly subjected to a "full 180-point inspection," covering critical components like the engine, transmission, suspension, and exhaust system. However, shortly after purchase, I noticed significant transmission issues, including harsh shifting, which should have been caught during this inspection. I was later advised that the issue stems from engine oil leaks caused by the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that's well-known with this model. These issues should have been identified before selling me the truck. To make matters worse, I was never informed about the low tire tread (4/32), and now I've been advised I need new tires soon. The dealership should have flagged this during their supposed "full inspection." Additionally, my husband was double-charged $6,000 for an extended warranty on his truck, and it took us weeks to get a hold of anyone at the dealership to resolve the issue. It was an incredibly stressful process that shouldn't have happened. But the most concerning part? His truck also had a loose steering wheel, a safety hazard that almost caused a serious accident on the highway. This issue was never flagged during the supposed inspection either. After hearing about the truck's "thorough inspection," it's hard to believe no one noticed these major safety issues. To add to my frustration, I took my truck to another dealership for maintenance and was informed that I need to consent to a transmission overhaul just to have techs take pictures of the transmission when it's taken apart and send them to the warranty provider for approval of the repair cost. If the repair cost is not approved, I'll still be left with a $1,900 bill just to put the transmission back together. If the overhaul is not approved, I'll face a $10,000 cost for the transmission repair, despite the issue stemming from the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that should have been caught in the inspection. I feel deceived, especially considering the dealership assured us that the trucks had undergone thorough inspections. These problems, especially the safety hazard in my husband's truck and the transmission issue in mine, should have been identified and addressed before selling us these vehicles. We trusted this dealership to be upfront and transparent, but instead, we've been left dealing with costly repairs and severe safety concerns. For a dealership that claims to provide quality inspections, the oversight of such major issues is inexcusable.
