I've been coming to this location for years (my folks live in Airdrie) and have never had a bad…read moreexperience. I came here pretty early on a Saturday morning so I got in right away. They took my window sticker for my info and got started on the oil change. They checked my tire pressures and fluid levels as the oil was being changed out, and informed me of everything they were doing. As a girl who is pretty clueless about cars, I like that they're letting you know what's going on! Within 15 mins, oil was changed, I was paid up and rolling outta there. I know some people think $50 is pretty steep for an oil change but I think it's worth it for the convenience. The only down side to this place is that it's right beside the Tim Horton's and they share the same parking lot entrance, so sometimes you're lined up onto the street because you're behind all the people in line for the drive thru BLEH

I inquired about the tire sale they had advertised outside their shop (photo available). I waited…read morefor a long time for my turn, so I had to miss my Friday congregational prayers, instead I prayed alone in the car, and I was interrupted repeatedly and my car door was opened without seeking permission multiple times during prayers. All the customer service representatives were quite rude with me. Finally someone who called himself "Jay", though briefly he called himself "Jaydico" (the spelling of which might not be accurate). When I asked him about the tire ad, brought his calculator and just punched in how much I would have to pay for a tire or a set of 4 tires, not decribing the brand, tyre time, etc. He simply refused to tell me about the "Tire Sale" which was advertised outside Lube City. I was patient with him and repeated kept asking me about the details of the sale. Rather he kept saying that I need to pay $700+ for tire changes, the details of which he did not describe, while not answering my question. He said the "Tire Sale" ad means that Lube City sells tires, nothing more. When I insisted, he asked me to come to the office to talk about it. I did not see this a reasonable, so I did not follow him. Finally, he askked me to talk to BDM Mr. Javid Hashimi. I asked Mr Hashmi about the ad, and said that they have some good deals at first, but then again started talking about what I would have to pay, rather than describing the advertised "Tire Sale". Then he asked me that give the phone to "Jay", and came back with the same script as "Jay". He started using foul abusive language and asked me to leave. I made notes about the incident and he came back to appease me, saying that he too is a Muslim, talking in a foreign langauge to break a deal. After leaveig, I took a photo of the ad. He quickly came to engage me, but I did not speak with him and left. I just want Lube City to improve customer service for their own good and do not wish any resolution.

After the work was done I had to argue with them to honor their quotes, and they told me they never made the quotes and tried to charge me $217 before fees and taxes. They finally made it sound like they did me a favor and took it down to $175, STILL way more than quotes, but work was done and they had me. Who knew I'd need a written quote for a couple of air filter; (really, $70 for a $20 cabin filter?!?!). DONT GO HERE IF YOU'RE EXPECTONG HONESTY!!!

Dealing with this company has been infuriating and horrible. I Needed a recall done on the wiper…read moretransmission of my SUV and they refused to do the work because "it's only applicable to select vehicles" of my exact make, model, and year. When OBVIOUSLY I'M BEING AFFECTED by the problem that they are supposed to fix because my windshield wipers are broken in the exact way that is listed. Also when I came in to get another recall done a couple of months ago they found a problem and quoted me $2500 - $4000 to fix it. When I took it to a different mechanic to get the problem fixed it ended up costing me $600. I will never give them another penny.

I had the worst experience buying a car from this dealership…read more First of all, they tried to sell me the GMC extended warranty for $4500, I declined this warranty because I knew I could get a cheaper third party extended warranty elsewhere. However, the finance guy wouldn't let me leave and later said he could offer me that same warranty (which he should have offered in the first place as a cheaper option). Then the day after I drove it off the lot there was an issue with the power steering pump and struts (This car was supposed to be used certified). As I live in Mahogany S.E Calgary (45m-1h to an hour away) I decided to take it to my friend at South Trail Chrysler (5 min away) to have it fixed and use my warranty as I wasn't going to be able to get out to Airdrie for at least a month. I told my sales rep at Davis this and he freaked out and said I need to have it serviced at their shop and that they would come pick up the car from me and drop it back off once fixed (so they didn't get in trouble as I could have invoiced Davis for the work as it should have been inspected properly at Davis). So to do them a solid I payed South Trail Chrysler the $90 to take my car off their lift. Then I book a service appointment with Davis who now repeatedly say I have to drop the car off myself. I then phone my Davis sales rep who says oops, sorry "it's just a policy for the service guys" and refuses to send someone to pick up the car and drop it off, even though he said they would. Then the sales rep starts to accuse me repeatedly of not being smart because I took it to a non-GMC dealership. He didn't read my file and apparently had no idea I got the third party warranty not the GMC one. It took calling the GM of the dealership to make this happen and it was about a 3 week ordeal. Not fun. Never dealing with these guys again. My opinion is that, especially the sales folks, will say anything to get you to do what they want then go back on their word without even apologizing. I still haven't received the $90 dollars Davis said they would pay me to take my car off of South Trail Chryslers lift.
