I was there for a quick parts pickup, so I won't be long. I had a couple questions about the newest bike I just purchased. My first Indian; bike number 25 overall, where the first one was bought just over 50 years ago! 15 years ago I sold #24. Time flies, huh? The answers I got were not rushed to get me out the door. The personality of that crew just earned them a spot on the team that can take care of my newest bike! The Indian Scout Rogue 60 ABS. A mouthful to describe a well built, low center of gravity, 1000cc V-twin that will last as long as I have a well-trained team standing behind it, ready for anything that comes along. Thanks guys. Oh, and motorcycles is just the tip of the iceberg for what they represent! Called the dealership, made an appointment assuming that they had to reset the light with their proprietary software. The day before my appointment they called and told me they sold my wheel speed sensor to another customer that did not have an appointment and was a walk in. They did not have another appointment until two weeks later. Show up early for the appointment two weeks later, they start working on my bike right away. Two hours later they are done. During the post repair inspection I noticed the front headlight cover was not fully installed. For $115 per hour shop rate and $200+ sensor I expect better quality and customer service. I'll ride further or trailer my bike next time I need service. Don't recommend.

He took my tire that was damaged out, showed me the nail that was in it, and said he'd try to find a similar tire. It took him about 5 minutes to find one. He brought it out and showed it to me and allowed me to inspect it and see if it was up to my standard. I liked that extra step because it made me feel confident in Reed's reputation. I have an older bike, 96 softail on a rigid frame that was put together by a guy in his garage. Long story short, she came with some issues, and most Harley dealers don't want to work on her. Well I was on my way up to the All Harley Bike show and when I stopped to check my map, she quit on me. I'd turn the ignition on and nothing. No headlights, not kickover, nothing. I called Down Home HD and within minutes they had a trailer over to scoop me up. They pulled my bike right in to the service department and worked immediately so I could get back on the road. Their staff was EXTREMELY knowledge and friendly. I was out of there in no time with a running bike and some newly acquired knowledge.
