She haves us a tour of Dr.'s office and made me feel welcomed and at ease to know he is a human :) . Shae our X-ray (not her full name) tech was so kind and gentle. She explained everything even so I could understand. Maddy our cleaning/gum specialist so tender and so so sweet to explain everything she is doing. She made me feel like my teeth weren't as bad as I thought they were. Dr.Christensen saw to my concerns and addressed them leaving me with no fear to go back. He is kind and understanding. With a good sense of humor. Cory our insurance advisor explained everything simply and easily and also offered us in house for my daughter that doesn't have insurance. She made sure we understood everything before we left. This whole team ultimately made me understand how important and priceless it is to maintain your teeth. Most importantly Alyssa's tour set is up it felt like we were on a cruise or a resort exclusively. Maddy helping reinterate the importance of teeth care. I love this place and recommend it a million percent. So much that I was willing to pay no matter what for them to take care me. Luckily Cory and Alyssa made sure I got my insurance info to which benifits me. Thank you Kimberly for getting my husband in especially working with his crazy work schedule. Also for reminding me of my appointments. Love love this place. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Ashley was so sweet, sincere, knowledgeable & I felt she had a genuine desire to make it a good experience for me. She was the best! The dentist was also wonderful. He was kind, helpful and I felt sincere about any dental issues he discovered and had to fix. Overall an amazing experience. Funny but I can't wait to go back! Also the office manager & front desk assistant tried their best to help me get the best deal. I missed out on a groupon deal because there was a confusion about the location and they happily told me they would apply the discount at my next visit. Amazing!

We were NEVER advised about the MANDATORY MAINTENANCE PLAN until we were ready to walk out the door after the implants were placed and the lady handed us a contract with a yearly fee of hundreds of dollars. We were shocked! It had never been mentioned in all of our pre-surgery conversations or paperwork! My husband does not do well waking from anesthesia, which I clearly explained to the dentist several times and he was asleep in the dental chair for an excess of 8 hours. I had to keep rousing him every half hour for 36 hours and nearly called 911 because he was so sedated. We brought in pictures and asked that the implants keep his personal teeth features, and they promised they would. But, NO. He received the generic Walmart smile and we had no recourse. We cancelled one of his yearly appointments at the end of 2025 because he was scheduled for a total knee replacement in January and he could not have any dental work for several months due to this invasive surgery. They said they would just extend his coverage for the next appointment. He went for his mandatory maintenance appointment a few weeks ago and when he asked what he owed, they said he had a $0 balance. About 4 weeks ago, we started receiving balance due notices for $349. We called and were told he had a $0 balance. I received another notice the next week. Called and was told by the Billing Manager after researching , that we had a $0 balance, that she was sorry about the texts and emails, that they outsource some of their billing , they had made a mistake and the notices would stop. I received another text and email today. Called and spoke to her again and she said that "Corporate" had reversed our paperwork and that we did owe $349 and there was nothing she or we could do about it!! WHAT A CROOKED COMPANY from the very outset. I am so ANGRY. I am reporting this to the BBB and every social media that they advertise in and may even make a sign and stand outside of the Bountiful office to inform folks about their abusive business practices. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not give your dental health business to STUBBS DENTAL. If it was an option, I would give them minus-349 black stars. BEWARE! I will be in the social media and on the phone until I can get the word out about these people and find another dental practice that will take over my husband's implant maintenance!

I needed 2 implants, with two separate ins we calculated the amount we would owe and paid over $3,000 cash for my deductible. we got a bill, called in and was informed that our Insurance Carriers' had been billed, that with our cash payment and insurance we would still owe over $1,000 more. Our insurance had paid more than we paid in cash. we were told we did not understand how insurance works. I'm a personal injury attorney, my wife works in medical insurance. I asked, "if the out of pocket was going to be so high above what insurance pays, why not give an estimate of the total cost. The dentist's response, "if I told people what it was really going to cost, we would do far less implants". He disagreed that our secondary ins had not been billed yet. said they would leave me with studs if I didn't pay their revised estimate. that no other dentist would finish the process. that the implants had been completed and he would bill me even if not installed. After calling our secondary dental ins, they confirmed they have never received a bill. End result, we were correct, we received what we had calculated as an overpayment. no apology letter saying, sorry you had paid all you needed. we were wrong on our calculations, sorry we treated you like "pond scum". nada... Please be careful. They are scamming people. I got a flyer in the mail for a 89.00$ cleaning &…read morex-rays for new patients. I booked an appointment for both my husband and myself. When I went in the first technician did a quick polish, which was very fast and furious. She didn't really take her time and then quickly took my x-rays. A second technician came in, measured my gums and told me that I would need a "deeper cleaning" and that I would have to rebook another time. I continue to share that I just wanted a regular cleaning at that time based on the appointment I made. She became very adamant that cleaning my teeth at this time would be a "waste of time." She insisted that I get a deeper cleaning and book another time. I insisted that I get the cleaning that I requested, and that resulted in another person coming in the room and making me sign a piece of paper that I was refusing a deeper cleaning and that I would have to see the doctor -I waited a very awkward 10 minutes while they all discussed if they were going to give me the cleaning, which was what I booked, and which was what was offered. They finally agreed the it was poorly done with a lot of animosity. she rushed through it and the whole experience was very awkward. I also paid for fluoride, which is when the first girl came back and did in less than a minute A very quick, poor effort. I needed to ask her, with my mouth full of flotide if she could, please do a better job, especially on one of the tooth that had some sensitivity I literally had to tell her to how to do her job because she was so wanting to finish. I'm 50 years old. I've had Fluoride before- What she did was just poor delivery and terrible service. When I went to pay, they handed me a treatment plan for a deeper cleaning that was over $700 with a potential $300 for my tooth that that was sensitive. I then found out that they did exactly the same thing to my husband took his x-rays did a tiny polish and then told him he needed a deeper cleaning and handed him a treatment plan that was over $900. They never even did initial cleaning. They just convinced him that he didn't need a cleaning and had to come back for a $900 cleaning- and STILL charged him the 89.00 WITHOUT doing the cleaning he booked for! To me absolute epitome of a scam. Tell someone to come in and offer them a service but as soon as they get there, they tell you they can't give you that service and offer you something that is 10 times the cost. If you look at the definition of scam, it is promising something, and then not delivering only to convince somebody that they need something more expensive than what they originally asked for. although the dentist who came in, was very kind and nice. My tooth sensitivity turned into him, suggesting that I might need a root canal.!!! Please be aware when you go to this office. They're just pumping people through and their flyer to get new patients is 100% a scam to get you to do a $900 deeper cleaning with making you afraid of fear of bone disease and irreversible Gum disease Just to scare you into doing a more expensive procedure. I do not feel you should offer a service- then not do it and still Charge people. Nor should you not do what you say you are going to do just to get people to pay more. The hygienist litterly said to me, " a regular cleaning won't do you any good and is a waste of time". To me that is 100% untrue. A cleaning is good at any time, of any capacity. it goes to show you they are lying to people just to get them to pay for a deeper cleaning. And the fact they were unwilling to give me what they advertised shows they are not authenticity looking for new patients. And the fact they did the exact same thing to my husband shows they have an agenda to get you in and not provide the service- only to up sell up! SCAM!

My husband and I have been getting routine teeth cleanings here for the last 2 years. The actual…read moredental service is fine, though nothing spectacular. The problem is the billing department. My husband had a crown fixed 9 months ago, for which we received a billing statement 4 months after the service. We paid our portion on time per the billing statement right when we received it. Now, Layton Hills Dental Care billing is saying they never had our dental insurance on file (we had dental coverage this whole time), and because more than 90 days have passed since the appointment to fix my husband's crown, they cannot bill insurance and the balance (after we paid our portion) is due. When I pointed it out on the phone to Chelsea that we paid our portion of the billing statement, she said it was our responsibility to make sure they had our dental insurance card on file. She referenced an internal note stating it was outstanding, but customers cannot see internal notes! I asked why no one called either me or my husband to inform us that it was still needed (we thought they had all our dental insurance information on file since the beginning), and she said the billing statement should have triggered me to call and provide the dental insurance card. NOTHING on the statement indicated that our dental insurance wasn't already on file. When I asked why my husband wasn't informed that his dental insurance information is still outstanding at the time of the appointment to fix his crown, Chelsea said she doesn't know. My issue is how am I, a customer, supposed to know that dental insurance information is outstanding if no one tells us? We provided it when we starting receiving dental services here 2 years ago. When we arrive for an appointment, the receptionist always verifies that they have everything they need. We've also never had this billing issue for previous dental services, just the service to fix my husband's crown. When I pointed out to Chelsea the flaws in their system, she defaults to "its the customer's responsibility". We will find a different dentist.
