I came home around 3:00 today and low and behold my garage door decided to act up. It wouldn't let down and I could see that the pin was coming out of the wheel that keeps the door on track. The wire cable was also all tangled up.....I placed a few calls and everyone claimed to be busy and stated they could schedule a repair first thing tomorrow morning. I continued calling around using Google and every service was answered by a call center in California, smh. I called Davis Door Service and there was no answer...... So, I went to Youtube and figured I could fix it myself but I had a few stumbling blocks. 1) it was too cold and windy outside to be repairing a garage and 2) I needed help getting the little wheely thing back on track. Otherwise I could have mastered it, lol. As I was going back into the house, Davis Door Service called me and triaged the situation. He asked me my location, said he could send a tech over shortly and quoted me a price. The tech, (Felipe I think) was very nice and explained everything beforehand. He was able to complete the job quickly and explained the warranty. My garage door is running smoothly like it was previously. Very expensive. I had trouble replacing the weather seal on my garage door and called Davis Door Service to install the weather seal that I had already purchased. Glenn asked for photos to make sure what I was talking about, which I appreciated. A guy came 2 days later. He had trouble as well and I had to help him. Charged me $175 for less than 2 hours of work! My fault, I guess for not getting price before work done. I usually use Overhead Door out of Granbury, but they couldn't get to me quick enough. The service with Davis Door was very professional. We thought our garage door had a bent and cracked panel and were expecting to replace either a panel or the whole door. Davis Door came out to my house within an hour and a half of calling them. They also included a courteous call 30 minutes prior to arriving. The service tech was very quick and professional. He assessed the issue and didn't replace any unnecessary parts, but rather used working parts on our door. He only replaced missing items to make the door work properly. The price was fair and much lower than we had planned to pay. I will definitely call Davis Door the next time we have a concern with our garage door. read more

Reliable, honest, highest level of integrity are the words I use to describe the way these guys conduct business. The owner answered the phone, took the order, and he scheduled the work based on the repair I needed. I had 1 broken spring. They replaced the springs and called for payment. They were in and out within 40 minutes. Now.... Before I found these guy, I fired Precision Overhead Door. They came out and told me it would cost $1800 to replace my entire system. The tech said the motor had burned up. I challenged him and within 20 minutes of discussion he changed the repair to a $500 solution after applying $200 of discount coupons. I politely paid his service fee and asked him to leave. And NO my motor was not burned up!! read more
