I had a very bad experience at the intake stage for a traumatic event. The legal assistant (Alonzo) made inquiries that only an attorney should ask. I'm heavily traumatized but there was no empathy, compassion - only that my file would be reviewed by a managing attorney. I placed my call around 1:00 pm and fully expected at least a courtesy call just to say I'll be reviewing your case. before the close of business. No call. I was told I had a zoom mediation, on a Monday, I received no call, no message, stating it was cancelled, I've asked for over a year, what about the repairs to my vehicle from the accident (3 years ago(+-) ) ! i was rear-ended while sitting at a stop sign by one of those monster trucks. The driver put over $7,000,00 of damage to my vehicle and we sustained injuries. Although her insurance company tried to get out of paying me what I was due, Mr. Rick Reyna and his team went to bat for me and stayed at the plate until I received a fair settlement. It took awhile, but the settlement I finally received was worth the wait. This is the worst law firm for being a well know one. There isn't any communication from their lawyers. My case was transfer three times. Scott Mellen was the last one. They don't care how bad you are hurt and don't really represented you, to them it's all about the money they could put in their pocket. My case was a little difficult but if Mr. Mellen really wanted to represent me he could have done a better job. He talk about me to the mediator. He didn't care how much money the other party would pay out. I'm really hurting in a physical way and it's hard for me to work. He just wanted to close the case. I thought by having a big law firm like Jeff Davis represent me would be an advantage for my case. But I was wrong. No communication what so ever! My lawyer Robert Fischel was always busy, and his legal secretary Emily never returned my calls not once did her job. I had to call to get my release on my physical therapy, my medication, the police report etc.... I was told that I had sign a contract and they were attorney fees when I was almost 4 weeks with them and they wont return a phone call back even though I left them a voicemail. If I was to use one word to describe my experience with Davis Law Firm it would be abysmal! Went in for the initial consultation and spoke with a very nice attorney who made some lovely promises and even work the percentages with me to reduce the attorneys fees, low and behold the rates at which I signed were somehow magically changed back to their standard rates. But I digress; I have only received 1 singular call from my 12 case managers or attorneys, I have probably, over the past 3 years, left 50 messages and just had to call back. My case is thrown between attorneys on what seems like a weekly basis and when I do get a new attorney i have to lead them through the whole story again. I don't know how a law office is supposed to run but if its anything like any other office in assuming they have everything in black and white plus on their system so maybe the person that is taking close to 50% of my settlement should read up on what's happening. I have run into some financial hardship due to cancer and the settlement I was promised years ago would have really helped. However the current excuse I am given is a doosy; first off i had to explain to the attorney that AAA does car insurance as well as roadside assistance, probably should've known that one and that since AAA is all over Texas its really hard to find the right place to serve for the law suit... What? How is that an excuse? Yea, AAA has lots of agencies but I'm sure it only has one, maybe 2, claims centers. Every time I call I get a witch of a case manager who talks to me like I am 2, I think you are taking enough of my settlement to maybe treat me with respect. At the end of the day in a couple months from my statute of limitations and in half hoping they fail to file suit against AAA so I can go after this law firm. I feel like everything they do is either half assed or not done at all. I have asked many times to be released from my contract because I have been told they had neither time nor inclination to deal with my case. I would love to have a resolution to an issue that should have been resolved literally years ago. read more

After my auto accident in April, this so called auto injury attorney said they would take my case and sent me to their chiropractors and pain management offices as well. I went as I was told and have not seen any progress with these treatments. I was then told I was to see an orthopedic doctor after a very bad injuries came back on the MRI reports. Well now Davis Law firm says there is no case. They were supposed to get a subpoena for the recorded statement that the other driver made to my insurance stating in her own words that she thought that I had to yield to her while she switched lanes. Clear cut case just by the other drivers statement. Now they have left me looking for another attorney, because it is obvious that Davis Law Firm doesn't believe in their clients, what they are looking for is lining their pockets. After the initial paperwork of signing with this attorney, I have always had to call them because they dont call you. Then when you finally get someone to talk to they give you their helper. Sorry, but if I clearly ask to talk to my attorney, I fully expect to speak with him/her. The helpers are so rude and are in a hurry to get you off the phone. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. I am only giving a one star because I can not give anything less.
