first I was grateful they could locate the problem indicated by engine light fuel pump needed. while I'm there suggest 75000 check. 600 miles from home and 300 more to go to my destination. work done that day. happy. when I get home a week later my mechanic friend couldn't believe they didn't even clean up my obvious corroded battery. on the invoice he also explained the hours were unusually long considering once the engine is apart hours don't need to be added for each service. so after calling a few times I did not get a return call from the manager to credit me something!! after spending $2343.75 read more

Called to make an appointment to fix a small problem, literally a ten minute job, and was told no appointment was needed and to just come in. When I arrived i was told they could not help me because I did not have an appointment. So, I drove 30 miles into Wichita to be turned away. They were not apologetic. In fact, the guy spoke to me like I was lieing about calling before I came. I won't go back there for repairs...or anything else. read more

I went there to trade a newer truck (2019) for possibly a CX-50. In these times I understand how hard it is to new vehicles but I was told someone would contact me when a new one came in so I could drive one before it was sold. No one ever called me back. Soooooo..... not being in a hurry, I waited. Still no one called. I thought well maybe I should go in and contact them again. This time they seemed more accommodating. We made the connection again and did get to drive a new CX-50. They never really explained all the features the vehicle had, which I thought was odd. When I asked if they wanted to look at my vehicle to give an estimate on a trade and the difference in trade. They told me they wanted to wait until I was really sure I wanted to trade or not, again odd. Once they decided I wanted to trade, the deal was on. Gave me a fair appraisal THEN, started on how bad my truck was and it needed new tires (just had a brand new set placed on the truck less than a year ago with around 10,000 miles on them max). I was on a recent business trip visit to Wichita and overnight, in a downtown hotel parking lot, my car window was smashed in. I had a business meeting to get to and materials to take care of and a very short time frame. My Mazda passenger window is hard to find and these people at Davis Moore were an incredible help and life saver. They bent over backwards. They were helpful, quick and professional and swept out all of the broken glass that they did not even create. They even said they thought I had a dog and they were sure they got all of the glass but just to make sure the dog would be ok, maybe I'd want to also take it to be detailed. read more

This place is okay. I wouldn't buy something from them again, based on my experience. 1) I bought a pre-owned car and wasn't too keen on getting a warranty. They were a bit adamant about it and said I could cancel within 30 days. I did cancel, but they didn't refund the entire amount properly. They sent me a check for half the amount and then I had to call and get the 2nd half of the payment reimbursed. This was a hassle. 2) There was a crack in the windshield that they replaced. They also ripped some panel under the hood at the same time. My car has made noises ever since. I took it back to their shop and they acted like the noise was normal. It still makes rattling noises to this date. 3) The remote key/alarm they installed was after market. After a battery change in the car, the remote no longer made sounds when locking/unlocking the car. I called to ask how to fix this and they said they were unable to help. The car that I purchased was an "okay" deal. I was a bit naive and it was my first experience buying a car. Remember once you leave the dealership, that is the end of your contract with them (unless you have a warranty, etc). So it's important that they cross their t's and dot their i's. I came into this dealership only to get an oil change before driving home to Oregon. I waited in the lounge with my daughter - played a little Pac-Man had a soda looked at new cars in the show room- pretty nice! Colby came to talk to us and recommended a new air filter and told me that I really needed new tires- I hesitated only because we have no sales tax in Oregon and hoped to wait until we got back home before buying. Colby showed me the wear on my tires and was able to find me a discount - my problem is I didn't have time to have them put on since I was under the gun to move my daughter out of her dorm. Colby once again went out of his way and let ya borrow free of charge a 2027 CX9 for the day - made moving so much easier than with my CX5! This dealership has the most expensive oil change I've ever had in the 2 years of owning my Mazda. In Texas I was able to get "the works" package done on my car for $40 at a dealership and in Kentucky the most I paid was $60. Now this dealership charged me $160 for the works. That's by far the highest price I've ever seen. When i asked why it was so high they said it's cause they rotated my tires but that was done all the previous times as well. I've seen Audi's get serviced for less. Idk if they feel that hiking their prices up is appropriate since they are the only Mazda dealer in this area? But I felt robbed. Unfortunately like I said this is the closest dealer so it is my only option for now. Other then that the service staff is very friendly and understanding. The pricing isn't their fault. read more

The sales team at Davis Moore Mazda were not expressively knowledgeable of the vehicles in their inventory. I was recommended to Davis Moore because their professionalism and product knowledge were supposedly "the best" in Wichita. I found my experience to be that of shopping at Carmax. The sales staff are indifferent and "Lazy" in comparison to what I consider to be the standard for a good automotive salesperson. This is ofcourse one man's opinion. I'd suggest reading other reviews before deciding whether or not this is where you want your "hassel free" car buying experience to be. read more

A year ago from today we purchased a brand new CX-5 at this dealership. Overall, our experience was good. We were very impressed how clean they kept the place, adequate yet fully functional lounge area, strong wifi signal anywhere in the building, friendly staff. My husband and I decided to give Davis-Moore in Wichita a try after shopping around for a new Ram Rebel in KC. I first called and asked to speak to a salesman and was transferred to a man named Grant Leffler. After talking with him on the phone a few times and texting back and forth several days and sending him dozens of pictures of our trade (and I was very direct several times on exactly we needed for payment) we decided we were interested. Grant told me (after informing him of a few other dealers and the average value of our trade and our credit scores, etc) that it would be no problem at all to be within our payment range. He mentioned he talked to Ian Murdick and he said it wouldn't be a problem and to bring our trade in. I mentioned several times to Grant to not waste our time and yank our chain if it wouldn't work. My husband took a day off work and we headed the two hours to Wichita. After spending time with Andrew and Ian they said the payment price we would be in wasn't even close and it was $150 a month more than Grant told us. The dealer offered to put gas in our vehicle for our trouble so they could clear their conscious. The fact remains that they have "sales people" who aren't even at the dealership and are located in another building to operate a call center, of sorts, and they will tell you anything at all to get you in the door. This dealer has hundreds of cars on the lot and they couldn't even come close to the price we wanted. Both my husband and I felt scammed and conned and we wasted an entire evening, not to mention the day he took off work. The real kicker for me was Ian mentioned it was a "miscommunication problem" and they tried to just dust it under a rug and politely escort us out the door. There was no miscommunication at all. They simply did not care to lie about anything as long as we visited their lot. These big auto dealers do not care about their customers and only care about their bottom dollar and they certainly do not care that their business is deceiving customers. read more

Was looking for a new vehicle and they had one I was interested in. The salesman did not know much (almost nothing) about the vehicle he was trying to sell me, they took the key for my trade in then refused to give it back (asked four times for the key back and they always changed the subject had to start to get up to walk out before they would give my key back), wanted me to sign off on possible numbers (price, trade percentage) before running anything, was supposed to be getting numbers for me and was sitting in his bosses office laughing and joking while making me wait an extended period of time, tried to tell me I would have tax issues if I sold my vehicle outright instead of trading it in and it was paid off. The vehicle itself was nice and clean that is the only reason they got one star. However, I found the same vehicle with 2500 less miles on it for $2000.00 less. So I guess if you want a dealership that lies to you and tries to force you into buying a vehicle and sign papers before giving you a price, then this is the place for you. If not I would definitely go elsewhere!! read more
