We finished lunch and had some time to kill…read more We wanted to go to a bar but found Nashoba wines on Yelp instead. The owner greeted us at the front counter. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We bought a bottle of Tempranillo amongst the 3 of us. Before opening the bottle he poured us each a splash to try which I appreciated. The wine was good. We enjoyed it in an indoor sitting area. A nice finish for the day. If I'm in the area I would definitely come back.

I was pleasantly surprised and plan to make this a recurring stop whenever I'm in the area. I was helped by Joseph. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable with all the selections. A basic tasting was only $20 and well worth it. The tasting areas a very quaint and comfy, plus there is outside seating as well. As for the wine, it was very good. My expectations were low, but Nashoba definitely impressed me. Even bought a couple of bottles to bring home. If you got the time, and feel like doing a tasting away from the normal wine regions, I strongly recommend Nashoba Wines.

It reached an afternoon highs of 109° in Davis today and what could be a more perfect way to cool off in this heat spell than having a froyo at Yoloberry Yogurt! We did wait until later in the evening to get our froyos and it did cool down considerably to low 80's which made for a comfortable experience. We checked in with the nice, friendly employee. She had me look for my name on the list and sign off next to my name. We then proceeded to make our way to create our yummy froyos. I have my own custom simple recipe that I always look for in a froyo shop. I chose the vanilla/chocolate yogurt... my toppings were Nutella, almonds/peanuts, and strawberries. I added some boba too (not all froyo shops offer bobas). Always, works for me... delicious and not too sweet. My hubby, in the meantime, chose mostly sweet candy items. We were so excited and went overboard. Our total exceeded more than the allotted limit of up to $7 and we spent a little over $15 LoL! Happy to support! Thank you so much, Agatha, Davis CM! After a long day working a soccer tournament parking lot this hit the spot…read more Great lawn seating seating out front with a free tables and chairs. Also a few tables inside with air conditioning. Very clean and great selections to fill up your frozen yogurt cups. I started building my chocoholic frozen yogurt cup and topped it off with chocolate covered espresso beans. I call my grandson and all he wanted was a few sour gummies, that's what I got him. With the Yelp event credit, I paid a little over a buck. Staff was very busy with cleaning and restocking but still were extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you Yelp and Yoloberry Yogurt for a great Yelpevent ands perfect timing for our record heatwave. We will be back!

My first time running in the rain! Thankfully, it was mostly light rain and I had my cheap rain…read moreponcho on. It proved to be more of a hindrance since it kept billowing in the rain. I wanted to rip it off, Hulk style, but I kept it on. The crowd usually thins out as you run but that wasn't the case here. I constantly had to maneuver around people. Aside from that, it was a fun run! Gobble gobble!

Loved the Turkey Trot this year. 1,660 people in the 5k, 1,196 in the 10k. I like that the race…read moreisn't actually on Thanksgiving because it's on a weekend instead. Also, it frees up Thanksgiving day if you want to do another race! This is what makes this race 5-stars for me: PROS: -You can pick up your bib/shirt packet on the day of the race -There's plenty of parking within the general race area -There was a variety of vendors around -Printed race results posted about 2 hours after the race -Race results posted online later that day -Well staffed - plenty of volunteers -Well marked - plenty of route guides -Nice shirts and technical shirt upgrade option, long sleeve shirt option -The medals for placing in your age division were actually high-quality. I attached a picture of one. -Race starts are all staggered. CONS: -The only con that I can think of was that there wasn't that many port o potties for a race this size. They definitely cheaped out on that one. PLENTY OF OPTIONS! The kids races were really cute. -Standard 5k/10k options -Stroller baby 5k -1 mile kids race -0.5 mile kids race -0.25 mile kids race -200m yard dash for toddlers!

Their chocolate/wine pairings complemented beautifully together and left us savoring each individual flavor. Afterwards we were visited by Jenny, a winemaker who noticed our cups were empty and offered us more wine to taste. Overall, a very pleasant and romantic experience. Would love to visit again in better weather (and when the grapes are in season)!

Our…read moreoriginal plan was just to stop by for a glass of wine, but we weren't really asked what option we preferred and were automatically charged for a wine tasting. I'm guessing wine tastings are mainly what the vineyard offers, but it would've been nice to have the choice explained first. This is where my 2/5 stars comes in. They only had one person serving about 12 tables. My party was only a group of 2, but there were other tables with groups as large as 9 people. It literally took 25 minutes to receive my second pour, and the only reason we got it was because I had to remind the staff. I think having at least two people pouring wine would make the experience much smoother. Upon arrival, they also have a small parking area for non-reserved parking. Luckily, we were able to find a close spot. As for the restroom, personally I'm not a fan of unisex bathrooms, and they also did not have seat covers available. Overall, the staff was friendly, but the service and organization could definitely be improved. Apart from all this, I have visited multiple wineries in Livermore, which is closer to the Bay Area, and their wine bottles are much cheaper. Their wine tasting options are also more affordable. This is just my personal experience and opinion overall I don't think I would consider coming back.
