I probably shopped around first. I sure paid Sara enough, but she could have cared less about my outcome or even a follow up on my situation. I have now been estranged from my son for 3 years. No hellos, no happy fathers day, no merry xmas. Nothing. He has now had straight Fs and Ds for 3 years in High School, has quit sports and activities and cannot get a job. My Ex can't even get him to go to school. She calls the "PERT" team and gets him to the ER(there are NO Adolescent Mental Health services available). Rinse, Wash, Repeat.
My Son, during our split custody for 6 years prior, had a 3.8 GPA up until this "Power Play" move by my EX. He played soccer competitively and was on the surf team. At my house, he would do homework, chores, and he had a very structured schedule. My EX began non-stop texting with him and they came up with a plan to basically falsely accuse me of abuse through the school. I have all the text transcripts of their conversations. CPS came to my house 5 times son these FALSE accusations and all 5 cases were closed.
Anyway, Mrs. Davison was completely out-classed by my EX's lawyer and I didn't feel like she could have cared less about the outcome. On one occasion she sent me to the wrong court at the wrong time. Not even an apology as like it was my fault. I paid a lo and am still paying off the credit cards. I guess it wasn't enough. That was 2 years ago and now my EX is beginning the same patterns with my middle son who is now 14. While he is my house (for 3 days) there will be 22 calls for 40 minutes between them. And now she has promised him a $1200 gaming computer when he goes back to her house. No wonder he wants to leave Dad's house so bad. Parental Interference, Parental Alienation. But Mrs. Davison says that these don't really exist and we can't really prove it. "Just let it play itself out and maybe he will come back to you some day."
My advice is to shop around and finds someone who cares and is passionate about winning. Especially if your EX and her lawyer treat it like a game. read more
