Smith a few days ago to update him. I don't believe I should over pay attorney and staff to get same information. They charge high enough. I was over charged because of staff errors. I paid them to fill out forms and they were not filled correctly so they had to be redone many times. Then attorney Smith would take it out on me. I would never recommend this attorney because he must of had rough days often and he would take it out on me with his attitude. If I would have had the money for another retainer fee I would have gotten another attorney when I started my case.

Fring her terrified me, but I knew I could not go thorough this experience with her. Even when you are the person seeking the divorce, it is a complicated and highly emotional time. When I retained his counsel, one of the first things Attorney Smith told me was that he felt there were times his clients needed to have their hand held, and other times when they might require a compassionate kick in the butt (not his exact words, but something to that effect). For the nine months he represented me though this trying time of my life, he stayed true to that proclamation. The patience shown by his paralegal (Maria) on days when I was close to a meltdown was also greatly appreciated. I am relieved it is over, and I am beyond grateful that I ended up with the perfect law firm to take me though the process. I don't often write online reviews, but this was absolutely necessary, as finding the right attorney is so important when going through a divorce. I highly recommend Attorney Michael Smith.
