We were able to get a table in a bit of a breeze and have a view of Darling Harbour. We all went for the lunch deal of $15 for baguette or hamburger with wine, beer or soft drink. All was good but I think if we had arrived a little later our meals would have been very delayed. Watching another group arrive then wait for over 30 mins for their drinks, I think we might have been a little lucky. People at the other tables were trying to catch the eye of the waitresses. We ordered coffee which did take some time but as we had not seen each other for years there was plenty to talk about and I don't think we really noticed how long things were taking. I don't think the same waitress served us twice. Sitting and chatting suited us today. We were there from 1pm until after 4pm. I don't think this is the place you go for a quick lunch. Food was good and so was the coffee.

Sometimes you don't want pancakes and waffles so Pancakes on the Rocks is out of the question, and all the other brekkie places in the area just offer baked goods. Thankfully there's Olivo to save the day. Boasting outdoor seating for a great view of Sydney's skyline, this place offers standard fare if you want classic brunch food like Eggs Benedict or a big breakfast. We came near peak hour but we were seated promptly for 3. The service could be better, but the food was good, coffee was decent, the prices were fine, and the sights were pleasant. No complaints here, would definitely come back if I wanted brekkie in the area. Will need to check out the lunch/dinner offerings some other time.
