Now I haven't been attending it 61 years..lol....but I have for 5 years or so! The festival is sponsored by the community and everyone pitches in to help! They have people making apple butter, quilting, sheep shearing, candle dipping, maple syrup making, broom making, etc. The churches has food for sale-loaves and loaves of fresh hot bread, apple butter, sour kraut, kettle corn then in cafeteria hot (real) pancakes/maple syrup, summer sausage, rich cottage cheese, many fresh pie slices, coffee, etc. outside of the barn (where most of the crafters are) has working farm demonstrations for the public. Nice festival and tradition to visit!
