The Travel Mug is the cutest little coffee shop, with delicious drinks and treats! Located right across from the tennis courts, this was the perfect post-game pick-me-up. They had a great selection of coffee and non-coffee drinks, as well as many homemade treats. Everything was delicious and the girls working there were super friendly. The space is bright and clean, and we loved that they had a little area just for the kids, too! read more

Cute place if you like coffee. Seems like they have different specials to eat along with a handful of regulars. When I went, it was close to St Patricks Day so they had irish inspired lattes. My only issue was somehow- not sure how - we ordered pistachio matcha latte but it was coffee? I didnt say anything but its a cute place and hopefully It continues to grow. Looks like even college kids from FSU travel the 10 ish minutes out of school to stop by for breakfast or lunch. Staff was very friendly. Their Naan and crab dip is very good read more

I stayed the previous night at the Casselman Inn in Grantsville and wanted to try a local coffee shop - I was just looking for a quick cup to get me back on the road. I didn't expect to see the new storefront, as their Facebook page showing the former coffee trailer hadn't been updated yet. This new building, only one month new, was a great surprise! I waited my turn in line; there were three women who had just been served standing around while the fourth member of the group got her coffee. They seemed to be regulars - a good sign. The barista and I talked for a minute and she recommended an iced latte made with brown sugar. It was very good (good coffee is important, right?) and well-presented. Everything about the shop was bright, sparkling clean, and friendly (including the customers I'd stood behind). Kudos to the store, the barista (the owner's sister) and her young daughter who chatted up the customers while her mom worked! What a great first impression! The Travel Mug was a blessing for us yesterday. We were charging our electric vehicle a block away and walked down to The Travel Mug to get warm, have something to eat, and relax while we waited for about 4 hours. They were so welcoming. Their coffee was wonderful but also they have a great little menu. Great BLT with yummy bread. Anything a weary traveler might be looking for. As we were there, many people came in and out which goes to show this is a popular spot. It is right off Rt 68 that made it handy. So clean, adorable, comfy seating with lots of natural light. The staff could not have been nicer. They said they are open till 4:00 which did concern me if the car wasn't done charging by then and it was 5 degrees out, but the girl behind the counter told me not to worry--she said, "We will figure something out." What could have been an awful experience turned out to be a much needed rest and reset for both my husband and I. What a little gem. Thank you to all the staff at The Travel Mug. read more

What a great spot to grab a coffee while driving through western Md! The staff were cheerful and the seating area was very pleasant. You can even take a quick walk over to the town park from their parking lot. Great stopping spot to stretch legs - only a couple minutes off 68. read more

This was absolutely the best stop. On my way to Ohio. The ice cream is amazing and if I could have had another cup, I would have had their coffee. It looks delicious. They're fresh baked. Cookies are out of this world and the place is super clean and is wonderfully appointed! In a small town such as Grantsville, this was an unexpected and happy visit. Lattes are awesome - and so are the people! I am a puzzle fanatic, and although I usually have one going at home, I really enjoy playing the one at The Travel Mug. The sunk-in cup holders on the tables are a convenience marvel, and the tables are big enough to really spread the puzzle out. Now added some breakfast items. I'm a black coffee or expresso person but their selection of lattes, matcha, and other drinks is impressive. They also have started some other vendor events and crafty classes. Macrame, painting, book club. Great place to check out in Grantsville. read more

Stopped here twice during our trip from DE to WV. Excellent service, tasty coffee, and really good homemade treats! Lots of little gifts for purchase as well to support local artists and crafters. If I lived locally this would be my go to spot to treat myself! read more
