Please read the countless negative reviews on this platform about Directors Mortgage and their…read moreReward Program. I, along with my daughter and her husband and countless others, maybe hundreds and thousands in Oregon and Washington (and elsewhere), have been duped out of what is owed. After "investigating" this company, I believe their conduct is fraudulent and that they are engaging in unfair and deceptive business practices through their reward program. Just do the math-if my rewards over the length of the loan were 40 thousand dollars, and if 200 people had similar amounts, that is $8 million that they don't have to pay all the people they sold these loans and rewards programs to. It could be a PONZI scheme. Of course, they will tell you the Rewards Program is a separate entity. It may be legal, but that is going to be a weak defense, because if they benefit from the program, which they can't disclaim responsibility for when it fails! By the way, the Rewards Program is in the same building as Direct Mortgage's corporate office! Besides, all the Rewards Documents include the Director's Mortgage Logo! I requested this information over six weeks ago from Direct Reward Representative, Jennifer Easton, regarding the DR business entity, the jurisdiction in which the company is incorporated, and the name and contact details of their registered agent, and I have not heard anything to date! As others have mentioned, my loan was sold to a servicer within days of my loan closing. A company that has thousands of complaints! I encourage all people to file complaints with the appropriate state regulators: DFR Consumer Complaint Form (Oregon) Federal-Consumerfinance.org Oregon Attorney General's Office Do a review on Google as well! For some, if not all of you, complaints can be filed against Directors Mortgage and Direct Home Rewards! May the Force Be With You

This company cannot be trusted. They sold us on a lower rate through a "rewards program," but left…read moreout the fact that that rewards program was paid from a different company (even if they use the same name and color scheme as director's Mortgage). And this "shadow company" doesn't have an official address that I can find, meaning they can't be held accountable for not following their own rules. This process has cost me over $1500, and hours upon hours of time. I will NEVER use DM again, nor will I ever accept a rewards program as part of a loan. I have no idea what this company has done with my banking data, either, which is another huge red flag. I trusted someone at DM as a family friend, and they have gone radio silent as well. **WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF YELP HAD IT AS AN OPTION**…read more Oswego Mortgage was absolutely hair-pulling to work with; rare callbacks, few answered emails, if any, stalling day after day, LATE CLOSE WITH NO OFFER TO MAKE IT RIGHT, no answers, voicemail after voicemail, text after text, with every interaction being more work than necessary. Lenders pointing fingers at underwriters, overlooking items that are clearly on a preliminary report from 3 weeks prior, leaving work early, not coming in to work at all, and the list goes on. :( Although I cannot steer my clients in one direction or another, I will openly share about the completely unprofessional experience I and several other agents had while working with Oswego Mortgage.

We went with Oswego mortgage on a recommendation from our realtor because they "specialize" in VA…read moreloans..... what they specialize in actually is ripping people off! They were Paid by the lending company to procure our loan. This is legal but in our opinion shady. My husband is a business owner and self employed which we know is always tricky when it comes to financing, however they were slow at responding and ended up charging us to keep the locked in interest rate. They also quoted us a really low interest rate but failed to explain that we were buying points down. I would never recommend them to anybody. I don't like posting negative reviews but this was a LOT of money and I hope others don't get ripped off by them. We actually threatened to go to another company then literally we signed documents within days..... after waiting over two months!
