It's also VERY telling about her as a person that the last time I wrote an honest real review based upon FACTS and my opinions that sooommmmehow, my review gets deleted!!! One could only imagine that Yelp might have been contacted by this attorney and hmmm....probably "politely encouraged" (yeah right) or maybe even "firmly insisted" aka threatened a lawsuit if it wasn't taken down. Now that's all speculation because I don't work for Yelp but I've never had any other review deleted. I've had other bad experiences with other businesses and wrote about it and never once had my review deleted and removed by Yelp. I didn't say anything that was not true in my last review so why was it taken down? And why does Yelp even exist if a person can not write a review based on their experience? I've reviewed several restaurants both good and bad and have NEVER ONCE had my review deleted. Why is that? In fact it was my impression that businesses were able to comment on reviews if they wanted to explain their side for example. If we can only post positive things then what is Yelp even here for? I guess Law firms are exempt from this? If a person was not happy with their representation and felt their attorney was not up to par or really working hard on their case etc then they can't comment? And if they do comment, then they have to worry about the attorney coming behind them and contacting Yelp to have the comment deleted? Do we live in Russia or Iraq? Are you kidding me? I'm quite sure that if I had said lies about this attorney that they could and probably would try to sue me. But I didn't. I just simply stated that my option of this attorney was not positive and I would never recommend her to anyone. I believe I have the right to say that anywhere but ESPECIALLY on a website where the sole purpose of the website is for people to give their opinions based upon their experiences with businesses. The funny thing is, I did not add this law firm into Yelp's database, they did. It was already there for anyone to comment on (supposedly good or bad). I decided to do it because I feel strongly that based upon my interactions with this law firm, I would not recommend anyone to them for representation in a divorce. I use Yelp every single time before I go out to eat at a new restaurant and very much appreciate the site and the people that write reviews. It doesn't mean everyone is always right and I agree with them but it's really helpful to me to at least have some feedback from others. This is why I feel so strongly about stating my opinion of this attorney. Is that a crime? Is it only okay to leave positive feedback for attorneys? That's not okay. And sometimes attorneys can mess up or not do their best work for a client and that client should be able to give their honest opinion without it being deleted by Yelp. Shame on you Yelp! Shame on you Ms. Viken IF in fact you asked or demanded that Yelp take down my last review. Let's see how long this review lasts. I haven't said anything inappropriate (or untruthful even though none of my or others reviews has ever been vetted for honesty or accuracy etc) so there shouldn't be any reason to delete it. Trust that Yelp isn't double checking to make sure that you actually went to the McDonalds drive thru you said you did before you write a review saying you didn't like their service or their cheeseburgers and then deleting your post because McDonalds got mad that you felt that way and posted a review about it. So why was my last review deleted? Will this one be? Let's see....

Would give zero stars if possible. Contracted them to clean commercial kitchen exhaust system…read more His crew damaged my exhaust fan while cleaning vent. My contractor onsite indicated that it was damaged to the point that it should be replaced or will likely fail relatively quickly. Business owner initially offered to replace fan while talking on phone, but then decided to drive 1 1/2 hours to my site next day to "inspect" the damage himself (indicator to me that he really had no intentions of paying replacement cost of fan). Upon arrival, he had his laborer "repair" the fan (read: bent it back) and big surprise, magically deemed it in good condition and refused to replace fan (all the while still insinuating that probably his guys didn't do it anyway). He did offer to give a 1-yr warranty if fan goes out (surprising if your guys "didn't do it"), although he would not give it in writing and he was presenting himself in a very hinky/allusive manner, so his word was worth zero to me by then. To add insult to injury, when I really did not want to accept that conclusion (and fully anticipating that he would not honor his word on a "warranty"), and waiting weeks for him to offer up a fair resolution (I don't know, gee, maybe at least offer a discount on the service charge), I finally gave up and sent a check for payment. However, by the time they received my check, they had already added late fee at rate of 24% annual interest (usurious in SD by the way) AND sent the bill to collections. And even though I had sent check, when I received the collections notification a few days later, I immediately paid the collection bill to keep in good standing. But, when I called him to get back my initial check that I had sent him, he had already cashed that too! So I ended up paying double and it took me a couple of weeks to get my second payment back (minus service charges on top of that!). So, in the end I had to pay an overinflated service fee (two times), his crew damaged my property, he screwed me on late fees, and I now sit with a damaged exhaust fan that will eventually cost me several hundred to replace.. And after all that, the jerk didn't even offer to discount my bill after his guys damaged my property! My recommendation is to STAY VERY FAR AWAY from this guy! Also, I have been a corporate director and/or business owner for 28 years, and have always represented myself/my company in a professional manner and I know questionable operators when I experience them. I usually just move on (my consolation is that they never get my business ever again -- if he wants to lose years of regular billing to stiff me on a few hundreds bucks, I guess I cannot question that logic), but I felt that in this case it would be best to warn others what they may be getting themselves into with this guy. If you use them, you better pray that nothing goes wrong or you will likely be left holding the bag...

We are now being hit with a 'consulting' fee that was not disclosed and what should be $600 worth of tax work is now billing at over $1,000. Accountant said "I don't know" and "I'm not sure" so many times. Maybe if she knew what she was doing it wouldn't have taken so long. If you use them make sure you get ALL the trumped up fees fully disclosed BEFORE giving them your documents.
