Our little 18.5 year old Scruffles has some difficulty seeing and hearing now and over the years, she's had some traumatic grooming experiences (cowering, shaking when I went to pick her up, nails clipped too close to skin, whiskers shaved off!) She generally comes here twice a year-- mostly to get rid of her thick Winter Is Here of a coat. So, when we know we'll be down in this area, we try to schedule an appointment for her in advance. I always joke that getting her a full groom costs more than my hair, but as far as groomers go, they are reasonably priced. Her fur comes out clean-shaven and she is always so happy when we come to pick her up. They give her these cute bandanas and it just makes our hearts melt because yes, we lowly humans don't deserve them! Tip: Schedule your full grooming few weeks to a month in advance. For nails, we've lucked out with a few walk-ins but typically, call ahead as over the years, they've gotten quite popular and packed. Scruffles says: Two paws up!

They even took him to the vet for us while we were on vacation one time because we found out after dropping him off he had ransacked the garbage, eating who knows what. My answer was , she may sometimes not get along w smaller dogs . She immediately said well we dont separate by size . First of all, not what i said and 2nd of all your website CLEARLY reads : "we place in groups by size, age, disposition ". I was just trying to explain that my dog would just really benefit from an evaluation and they can determine and place her where they see fit? It was like she was trying to deter me from coming in and pretty much argumentative. It was bizarre. I then explained that the day care closest to my home does not have cameras which is why I was interested in their day care. She immediately said well we dont have cameras either. I was confused because i just read on their website , verbatim " we have closed circuit video monitoring" . She said well we have very high end clients and there was a lot of theft here so those cameras are for that . I told them their website is very misleading . They could of course care less. Now i understand the terrible reviews here on Yelp . Not surprised. HARD PASS.

They came and were so friendly and passionate about my Raya's care and even were nice enough to let my daughter check out their set up. My dog has had stressful experiences with groomers in the past so I decided to try a mobile groomer for 1 on 1 care and she did so well. She looks beautiful and was so happy when it was all done. No stress peeing, panting, or drooling. She ran straight to the backyard to play. We will definitely be using their services again!
