I bought a kitten from here a few years ago. I drove from another state to get him, and he was tiny, malnourished, and sneezing. Dawn reassured me he was just having a reaction to the vaccine, but when I took him to the vet we found out he had fleas, giardia and mycoplasma. He's also a spiteful fellow, even now that he's older. He's bold and brave and we love him, but he has always has significant aggression issues. I do not believe he was well cared for in Dawn's home. Interesting. Do your homework before paying a deposit. Ask lots of questions. Information didn't seem to line up with TICA. Availability date was listed on website but when asked when we could pick up the kitten she wasn't sure when it would ready. She couldn't provide me certifications of parents to verify with TICA. I purchased a kitten from her in 2016. She charged me $700 claiming she was a registered ragdoll. When I sent in the "paperwork " I was given I was told that there was no such breeder and the parentage information was bogus. My vet also confirmed she was not a ragdoll. I had already adopted her and kept her but felt I had been scammed. On her current Facebook site she claims she has only been breeding for 4 years? And you can't leave a review there. I went to Dawns Darlings residence and it wasn't pleasant. I would have left but I had my daughter with me and she already had her heart set on getting a ragdoll and we drove 3 hours. All the cats are hidden in a back room. She will bring 1 kitten out at a time and they are not socialized in the slightest. She has one adult cat in the main area and she is destroying the couch and biting the kittens that she brings out. My daughter was terrified, I tried to keep the kitten away and leave as soon as possible. These are not pedigree cats and she is not listed as an TICA cattery. I would avoid this place and I'm glad I'm able to file a PayPal claim. read more
