Atop that cool setup, FOUR full sized treat jars opened and ready for good boy and girl pets to enjoy. A couple paces the other way gets you to a plush couch, television, and , whoah! A fireplace! Have I entered a fancy cafe or a vet office? Either way, my trusty pup is allowed inside this place, and NOT the actual coffee shop. I will die on this mountain- this is better than any cafe. I called Homestead Animal and was able to get an urgent appointment with Dr. Heidi, the relief vet. Dr. Heidi took care of the cat, provided him with pain relief, antibiotics and lots of fluids. Took the cat in the next day for a repeat of the fluids, and this time some steroids to help with the swelling of the mouth. On Friday it was apparent that the cancer was growing exponentially and I needed to euthanize him. It was the hardest decision ever, but the staff was kind and warm and made the process as easy as possible.
