He was spot on to notice my flat feet and went out of his way to ensure that the show I purchased not only looked good but would be the correct fit and support for me. During our encounter he never tried to up sell me or pressure me into a more expensive pair in fact he did the opposite. However, the timing of shopping the day after Thanksgiving was not so appealing since I do not like crowds. The fact that I needed new boots for weekend hiking outweighed my fear of crowds and closed in space. So I set off for the Tangiers outlet mall in Nags Head mid morning not knowing for sure what I would find. What I found was impossible parking, the lot was packed. But I am a sneaky in these situations and stalked my victims coming out of the stores like a lion cat watching it's prey. It only took about 10 minutes and I located someone approaching a car and waited, then pounced. It just so happen I found a parking spot right in front of the store and proceeded to the sidewalk. The lot was clean, the walk was clean and it was a cool crisp day to buy some new boots, hopefully. Just as I suspected the store was mobbed with customers. Enough room to maneuver around and located what I was looking for. It took just minutes for a clerck to actually acknowledge me and ask if she could help. Okay...impressed immediately. I told her what I was looking for and she directed me to a few styles, gave me the info on the incredible 50% off. I am a picky customer, so it did take me a while to figure out design and sizing. But the clerk stuck with me and provided several styles and different sizes all the while it was nuts in the store. After around 35 minutes I was satisfied and told clerk we had a winner. I am sure she was relieved and excited to get a pair of $129 boots for $65. Check out by another clerk was smooth and I was on my way in minutes. I would have never expected this experience on such a busy day and was both surprised and impressed with the staff. This is my very first pair of Merrell's and thus far they have been great.

Both of the store clerks were more than helpful, spending time with us to make sure she was fit properly and we were pleased with her new shoes. I am now the new owner of a pair of Nike Running shoes.  Picked out by my wife, I felt these shoes will help take me places. They will be places I want to go. I also aquired a pair of dark gray Pumas. Depending on how the light hits them, they will look black or gray. I tried on a few other pair of shoes, but they did not pass the run test. My wife also had a part to play in the choosing of shoes.  Nevertheless, there were more than one staff members here, but only one was visible the whole time.   Was the service here good? No, we were pretty much by ourselves.  Was the check out process easy? Yes, the lady who was visible on the floor rung us upIs was polite then.  All in all,   I am just happy to have some new shoes that will help me look my best. Thanks Honey Bunny.

Not only did the signs clearly label they were ( I'm not an idiot ). The prices of the shoes were much higher than labeled, ex I picked out $80 pair of shoes were $120 on receipt. Cashiers were very unpleasant, rude, not helpful. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would rather wear shoes made of broken glass than go back into this store and give them any of my money.
