I really love the products but they have no customer service when it comes to black women, this is my second visit here. The first time their were 3 workers here two were attending other customers while the other worker pretended to be busy no one greeted me or the ladies of color we waited for over 15 minutes and again today no one greeted me or asked me if I needed anything when I asked a question ‍ he answered and then walked over to another customer and stayed with that customer like I wasn't there first smh ‍ horrible service. Overwhelmed with remodeling project, I stopped at Days to see about molding prices. That trip to Days produced way more than reasonably priced molding! A sign on the checkout counter says, Days offers installation of their products. I filled out a form, and promptly received a professional call from Dana Day. Dana sent Polo out to measure for the project. Dana explains that Days Discount Lumber is interested in helping their customers avoid the all to familiar horror story of shoddy overpriced and unfinished contractors. Days and Polo provided excellent support answered all my questions and did the job the next day. Not only did Polo complete the job on time as promised,he did an excellent job and actually cleaned up after himself! All that was left, painting the new molding. At the last minute I could not do the painting myself and called Dana Day, she sent Victor over. Victor and Hector painted the entire thing in two days, perfectly. They did a bit extra for us and again cleaned up after the job. What a delight and relief! I cannot thank and recommend Days Discount Lumber enough, other than to tell you all to shop and take advantage of these Ladies expertise in the contracting and remolding profession. Great place across Sheridan from Habitat for Humanity Restore. I have picked up a couple of unfinished cabinets from this place and I have to say I prefer the quality of DDW cabinets to those from Lowes or Home Depot. DDW cabinets are made with actual wood and not particle board and are comparably priced. This place also has lumber, fixtures, tools etc. The guys working here are cool and very helpful. If your working on your house or a rent house give them a shot. read more
