    Nasty tub

Room had moldy smell, carpet was filthy, a/c did not cool. Was advised hotel was being remodeled, never saw any workers. We was there for the Sunbelt AG Expo so unfortunately there wasn't any other hotels with availability. Cost for 3 nights was over $400..

Fleas were found in our second room we moved to because the first was dirty.

People are nice here and there diner has pretty good food, but the rooms are not clean, we had to move from our first room to our second which had fleas so we then left.

This is what I found in my room at the Days Inn located in Adel, GA

Clean room, 10% off at the adjacent IHOP. Not bad if you are planning to stay a night.

Check-in was a breeze and they honor govt discounts unlike the Thomasville Hampton Inn which was 2x the cost. Parking and Wi-Fi are free. I even got sweet potato chips and water as a Hiltons Honor perk! The rooms are tastefully appointed with a sink, microwave and mini-fridge, lots of drawer space and nice toiletries. There's a large flat screen TV with HBO unlike Best Western or Holiday Inn which have no premium channels. I appreciated the luggage rack, dining tray, work station for my laptop and roomy shower with good water pressure. There's a night-light in the restroom! I did struggle a bit with adjusting the temperature. But my room was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. I even had a view of the lake! I welcomed the free breakfast, particularly the fresh fruit cup, yogurt and pour your own waffles. The dining area was clean but the staff was a bit chatty. They ran out of waffle batter and sausage at 8am. It was refilled but the wait meant I had to eat in a rush. In a perfect world, the hotel would have a 1pm late checkout option and hardwood floors or pet-free rooms for the allergy prone. But you can't have it all! Overall, great stay. I recommend and will return!

Check-in went smoothly and we were in our rooms within minutes. After a long day of driving, we were glad to walk into a clean, spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. It had all the basics that we needed: mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, and more. We all slept soundly that night. We took advantage of the free continental breakfast the next day. It consisted of eggs, toast, juice, milk, etc. Instead of buffet style, they had a couple of nice ladies handing out food. Breakfast was consistent with other Holiday Inns we've stayed at. They have a coffee bar with tea and hot chocolate that you can take advantage of even after breakfast hours. The dining room was packed that morning. Check-out was also a breeze. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Since we were only there for such a short period, we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities so I can't speak for those.

Have you ever had a poor feeling about a hotel more because the clientele was awful more than the…read morehotel was awful? I'm super conflicted because despite the hotel being reasonable and the staff being very friendly, the clientele of the hotel seem to be sabotaging my view of the hotel. Look out; it's the return of the list monster. Here comes!!! The Good: - Parking was plentiful - Staff was super friendly. Check in made me feel VERY welcome - I know housekeeping has changed with the pandemic so instead of getting service during my (2 night) stay, I asked for 3 additional towels which I received without issue. - No one killed me in my sleep during my stay (I've had doubts with other stays) - Breakfast was awesome like expected. Hard to beat a Holiday Inn breakfast The Bad: - The clientele is loud to no end - The floors are sticky because the clientele have spilled sticky drinks EVERYWHERE - There are empty wrappers in the stairwell because the clientele doesn't respect the property The elevator is super slow and it jerks when you get on and press the desired floor button - One of the side entrances doesn't work no matter how many times you swipe your key and the lock accepts your key I can't see myself staying here again it's not because of the hotel itself but the clientele it caters to. There are lots of hotels in the area making this place nothing special.

Front desk staff very nice. Frozen food freezer appeared to be broken, so no ice cream for the kids, sadly. (Probably healthier though!) The food was good to okay, depending on what we ordered. The salad was a disappointment but the salmon was delicious. The young waitress we had was not well trained - she got one order wrong twice, though she took it back without a murmur and the cook was great about re-doing it. It never occurred to the waitress that when passing a table it's a good idea to ask if everything's all right or anything's needed. She spent a fair amount of time talking with patrons at the bar - again, poor training - we had to keep going up there to ask for things like condiments, or more ice. Again, I don't think this is her fault - it's poor training. A waitron should never pass a table without checking. We also watched one of our meals sit for a longish time under the heat lamps because she didn't notice it was ready. The other thing I should mention is that the entrance is in the back - GPS took us through a fast food driveway, then a circuitous path to the hotel entrance. There's good signage indicating that once you're on the hotel grounds, but the photo is a bit deceptive. It's back from a fairly busy road, too, so getting in wasn't that easy. Still, everything was super clean, there were plenty of hand carts (thank you!), the staff were lovely, and we would stay there again.

Our room (probably like the whole hotel) is clearly renovated as you can see painted over areas where they probably cut out parts of the wall to redo, certain fixtures popping off the wall etc. However, what got me was the next morning we went into our bathroom it was nothing but SMOKE. CIGARETTE SMOKE! We thought we were crazy, but I realized that there is only a smoke detector in the suite on both sides of the room but not in the bathroom. So we reported it and found it was probably someone below us due to the vents. That was crazy. We were choking HARD trying to get read for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't great necessarily but it was edible. Our server, I don't know her name but she is sweet as pie. She didn't nothing wrong and everything right. It's just this hotel is not trying to invest much in food I see. Like even the syrup comes in a microplastic container. We didn't do the second complimentary breakfast day. It just wasn't worth swallowing to save a dollar. The venue for the wedding wasn't bad and it was organized well. That was probably a much better experience overall than actually staying at the hotel itself.
