We asked for a king room, but they were out, so she placed us in the largest single hotel room I have ever been in. We got to our room #326, and it was huge, truly the size of 2 rooms together, with a King bed and a pull out couch. The problem is, the room is so large that the space isnt used wisely, si the room comes off sterile and cold, not the warm, cozy feeling you get from most Hampton hotels. It was very Liminal Space -y. The echo was noticeable because there wasnt enough furniture to soak up the sound. The bed was VERY comfortable, the shower and bath were tops. We would stay again in the future

We originally booked this SpringHill Suites location as our overnight stop. As our drive progressed, we realized we could safely make it farther up the road, so we booked another SpringHill Suites by Marriott location instead. We did not cancel our trip, switch to a cheaper hotel, or take our business elsewhere -- we intentionally stayed loyal to the Marriott brand and paid for another Marriott property. I completely understand that we booked a prepaid rate with restrictions, but I reached out asking if they would consider a goodwill exception since Marriott still received our business. The initial response simply repeated the cancellation policy. I politely explained the situation further and asked for reconsideration, but I never received a follow-up response. Policies are important, but so is customer service. Sometimes taking care of a loyal customer and looking at the full circumstances is what separates an average experience from a great one. A simple acknowledgment or willingness to help would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling like the reservation policy mattered more than the customer relationship.

Front desk staff very nice. Frozen food freezer appeared to be broken, so no ice cream for the kids, sadly. (Probably healthier though!) The food was good to okay, depending on what we ordered. The salad was a disappointment but the salmon was delicious. The young waitress we had was not well trained - she got one order wrong twice, though she took it back without a murmur and the cook was great about re-doing it. It never occurred to the waitress that when passing a table it's a good idea to ask if everything's all right or anything's needed. She spent a fair amount of time talking with patrons at the bar - again, poor training - we had to keep going up there to ask for things like condiments, or more ice. Again, I don't think this is her fault - it's poor training. A waitron should never pass a table without checking. We also watched one of our meals sit for a longish time under the heat lamps because she didn't notice it was ready. The other thing I should mention is that the entrance is in the back - GPS took us through a fast food driveway, then a circuitous path to the hotel entrance. There's good signage indicating that once you're on the hotel grounds, but the photo is a bit deceptive. It's back from a fairly busy road, too, so getting in wasn't that easy. Still, everything was super clean, there were plenty of hand carts (thank you!), the staff were lovely, and we would stay there again.

CIGARETTE SMOKE! We thought we were crazy, but I realized that there is only a smoke detector in the suite on both sides of the room but not in the bathroom. So we reported it and found it was probably someone below us due to the vents. That was crazy. We were choking HARD trying to get read for breakfast. Breakfast wasn't great necessarily but it was edible. Our server, I don't know her name but she is sweet as pie. She didn't nothing wrong and everything right. It's just this hotel is not trying to invest much in food I see. Like even the syrup comes in a microplastic container. We didn't do the second complimentary breakfast day. It just wasn't worth swallowing to save a dollar. The venue for the wedding wasn't bad and it was organized well. That was probably a much better experience overall than actually staying at the hotel itself.

Despite staying here with my wife, I couldn't help but feel like this would be somewhere you go to with someone other than your spouse. Breakfast the next morning was a true continental style which was a big disappointment when expecting the typical "Hampton Breakfast". The facility was clean and staff was nice, just the overall vibe felt off. Next time we decide to stay somewhere about halfway on our drive to Disney will likely pick elsewhere like the Hampton Inn at the same exit.

However, this was in the back of the hotel and didn't look well lit or safe or anywhere I'd want to leave my vehicle. I ended up just going to the Supercharger on the other side of 75 by the Starbucks. I don't know if I'd stay here again when back in town. I didn't really look at anything else. It's pretty consistent with other HI Expresses with the same breakfast and shower head of all the others.

They had various choices and the staff was great. The receptionist was very nice and friendly when we checked out. We really slept well and enjoyed our stay! The only reason it got 4/5 stars is because we had to wait so long to check in and the pool was closed. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

The dog friendly rooms don't have carpet making cleanup easier. Not needed for my 4 legged baby as she is well trained. There are so many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel that it made for a pleasant walk last night
