I feel like Wyndham standards have went down. I stayed here because I needed a room due being on the road for a long time. The gentleman at the front desk was not very friendly. Not helpful at all. The room is overpriced. The bathtub is dirty. The floors are dirty. I went for breakfast. there was old stale cereal, bread with no butter, granola with no yogurt, the juice was hot. Even the juice coming out of the machines were hot. I didn't even see milk in the lobby was filthy. I would not recommend staying here. read more

Terrible facilities and service. The room has 0 closets or dressers. Had 1 hook on the wall to hang anything because the other was broken off. Pillows are tiny lumpy squares and if you ask for more they look at you like you're crazy. They only clean 3 days a week and if you need extra towels they have none. This is an unsavory area. We got a call to our room at midnight with someone yelling "someone's trying to break into your car". Went out the balcony/walkway and there were people pulling in and taking stuff out of their cars but that's it. Recommend going 5 mins up the road to get a better hotel and location. read more

If when we got in the room, the fan was still on, the temperature is only set at 74. The bed is too soft to sleep in Do you want to give you 2 pillows? Each bed? Very small pillows and 2 tales. No wash cloth. They need to wipe down the whole room. Cause it looks dirty on the walls. And the water had only hot and no cold water, so that was awful. We asked for more towels and they told us 15 mins, then 30 mins, then "oh it will be even longer". The room was dirty, a lot lizard was checking in when we were only needing a room for an hour. There are truckers and a truck stop everywhere. They say the staff is nice, but when we told him that we were military, our price suddenly jumped. We were charged $383 for 7 hours of sleep and I could see him staring us both down as we were signing. I stayed in Room 122 on 4/3/2024 - $132.53/night. The room was large and smelled clean. The clerk announced my room number after I asked her to write it on the envelope; I should have been more specific. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee. The shower had great pressure, drained well, and was scalding hot. The bed was delicious. The WiFi was unfortunately pretty spotty and dropped regularly. The tile floor was mostly clean - there was only a little bit of dirt on my feet in the morning. When I checked out, I asked the morning desk clerk to ask the property manager to implement no announcing rooms policy and she understood and said she would. Grade B, but only because of the Wifi. I stayed again - Room 210 on 4/11/2024 - $115.19/night. The same front desk gal who checked me in on 4/3/2024 AGAIN - announced my room number after I asked them to put a policy in place to not do so. The TV stand was all scratched. The A/C was cold, but wouldn't switch to fan so I had to unplug it. The TV picked up one channel and none of the remote buttons would turn off the menu or change the channel. The bed and pillows were awesome. My room was near the 10 so the highway noise was LOUD - clearly the windows are not double pane. The WiFi in this room was strong and didn't drop. The shower was hot and less-hot; I prefer a colder shower so this isn't my preference. The tub drained well. When I checked out, I again asked the morning clerk to not allow the property to announce room numbers - and she said "oh, she did it again?" to which I replied "yes, and you just did too." She didn't like that I observed HER doing it. I explained this is a safety issue - that I was a solo female traveler, and it's not so much the safety in the room, but the safety outside - if someone hears my room number and sees me alone, they don't know if I'm "protected" and am thus a target. This is the worst motel I have stayed at. For $140 a night it was a joke. Rooms need to be fixed. Several maintenance issues a small as missing light bulbs to the toilet run. Wouldn't recommend unless you don't have any options. Rooms need to be remodeled. read more

Booked online for a room with King bed. Check in went well but the room was at least 85 degrees inside (115 outside) az in August... We lowered the temperature of the AC and went out to dinner. Returned the temperature inside was better but still HOT. Called the front desk to see if they had a portable fan but no. Instead, she offered us a room with a double bed, my boyfriend is 6'4". Not working for either of us. At 1215 AM we were woken up by knocking on the door. As I went to the door it was opened by a woman (staff) who told me "I thought no one was in the room"? Behind her was another woman who was trying to see in the room! She asked my name, and I informed her that we were 100% IN THE ROOM. Then at 745am the maintenance man enters the room WITHOUT KNOCKING! He was shocked and said that he didnt think anyone was occupying the room?!?! Checking out we told the front desk clerk about the 2 incidents. She said "I will TRY and get you a partial refund"! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I've seen some raggedy ass places because this was truly not that bad. In my honest opinion, it was, 'ok,' however, I am pissed about the price I paid for just one night. Total was roughly $170 FREE breakfast and it was pretty good. I enjoyed myself and everything was good. My little one definitely loved the oatmeal we had as well as the waffle we made ourselves. I definitely gagged and almost threw up because of the boiled eggs though, I'm not sure where they get prepackaged boiled eggs but I didn't notice the bit of water there was in the pack I opened it wasn't until I took a big bite that I noticed it was probably spoiled (lol). The pool looked disgusting and is very small (I imagine the dust makes it hard to keep clean I guess). The laundry room looked old and dusty, its pretty small. I was able to eat in the hall while the women at the front desk had to clean it and was able to see them thoroughly break everything down and clean up everything and I greatly appreciate that. The blonde woman (I didn't get to get her name) was training the other woman so I can absolutely appreciate that she was teaching her how to properly dispose, prep and reset everything for the breakfast. She explained to her how much batter to make for the waffles, so that they don't waste product and how to take apart the apple juice and orange juice machine to clean thoroughly. She explained to the woman she was training that she knows its tedious but things like that can get moldy/dirty fast and she doesn't want people to drink anything moldy or old because she wouldn't want that and that's what made me give this place a whole other star. They were having a fire alarm problem (I don't know entirely what was going on), but there were people there to fix it and she was multitasking that work load (big ups to that woman!). I'm not going to lie still, I was disappointed at the price I spent because online it said it would be $60 not $170. read more

An Oasis!! After spending 6 hours going 100 miles in LA traffic I wanted to our CA behind me ASAP. I was rather shocked there wasn't a plethora of hotels on the AZ border. We didn't get there until rather late. I'm guessing maybe 11-midnight. not insanely late but later than normal. I had great advice from the receptionist, Cale or Kayla. I feel bad that I can't remember her name. She had exceptional eyebrows. I told her that and I think she thought I was crazy. Just being friendly. Her advices help me mitigate Phoenix traffic. I drove over 1100 miles the next day and made Houston TX due to my good rest. I generally base my hotel reviews on the shower of the hotel. I prefer a good hot shower that will scald the dirt off my skin. Most hotels now have the scald guard set so low I feel like I'm taking a shower in luke-warm, tepid water. There's had a scald guard but it was close to hot enough and after dealing with the clusterf*ck traffic that is CA it was GOOD ENOUGH. read more

Worst hotel experience!! There was hair on the sheets which were dingy "white". The toilet and bath tub were stained with brown spots. The security latch was missing, the hook was only attached on one side while the chain was completely missing. The door seal was missing so there was a 2 inch gap from the floor to the bottom of the door. The fire alarm was wrapped with a paper towel. I saw spiderwebs in the ceiling corners. My family was unable to get a good night sleep because of the noise. Not sure what was louder the air conditioner or the constant sound of air brakes from the truck stop literally outside the rooms. I should have left after seeing the room but it was midnight and we were so tired. We ended up getting up early to get out of there, found a much better place on Watson Rd in Buckeye. First the good things: 1. Price 2. Friendly staff 3. Continental breakfast ( Bagels, toast, cereal, scrambled eggs, waffles, milk, coffee, water, etc.). 4. Good A/C in the room. 5. Room appeared updated but not kept up. The not so good things: 1. Room had a bunch of dead bugs 2. The fresh hanging towels were dirty 3. The smoke detector was removed 4. A clump of someone's hair was left on top of the television cabinet 5. The card key entry lock pulsated in the middle of the night. It was just loud enough to wake us up thinking someone was breaking into our room. 6. Only 1 bar of soap to be shared in both the shower and wash basin. 7. The in-room refrigerator was not very cold on the maximum setting. 8. My buddy took a shower and locked the bathroom door and could not open it from the inside. Lol... I had to let him back out. This place would have probably received at least a three-star have they paid attention to the little things. As far as the smoke detectors concerned I guess not so little. I stayed at this hotel on January 15th and 16th. The following day the 17th I notice bug bites all over my body, after have having them checked out it was determined they were bed bug bites. We immediately contacted the hotel to inform them on the determination. We were told they would leave a message with the manager and he would be getting back with us as soon as possible. Here we are a week, and several phone calls later and still no response to the situation, meanwhile I'm am sure they are still booking out the same room. I understand they can not controll bed bugs coming to their hotel, however their negligence on addressing the situation has left me no choice but to leave a review in the hopes this does not happen to the next person. read more

Filthy place, Poorly maintained, ie: bedside lamps did not work, shower exhaust fan didn't work, toilet rocked allowing sewer gas to escape into the room with no fan to ventilate it, patched holes in drywall unpainted, no toilet paper spool, inadequate number of towels, one small bar of soap for two people, small shampoo bottle was used and empty, walkway outside room was filthy and stunk attracting flies which came into the room when the door was opened, wall electrical sockets were worn so bad phone recharging plug would not stay plugged in. The location of this motel is horrible! Your only choices for food will be the trucker gas station, subway, and Burger King. The motel rooms are not worth the price we paid. Paying almost $150 a night to stay in a room with no coffee pot, scratchy mix matched discolored towels, two very small flat pillows on the beds, and really no extra amenities is very disappointing.. the room was also dirty, the carpets need a deep cleaning, some lights didn't work properly, the shower felt as if you were going to fall threw it, the shower handle was not put on properly and it took a little bit to figure out how to even make the shower not blazing hot, and the amount of unfinished paint, marks/stains on the floors and walls was unsettling. Either this motel is very old or just not cared for properly. Also we had very loud guest that were partying in the parking lot.. but it doesn't help that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything when they were in their rooms anyways.. Honestly if you don't mind all this and just NEED room then this is your place but be mindful the price isn't the cheapest for what you get! I would avoid this hotel at all costs! They are running a scam here. We had a family group make reservations here so we could stay nearby for a funeral and we all had a terrible experience. Number one, I think the website to book there is some sort of scam. You think you are on the Wyndam website, but I think it's run by this hotel owner and my sister had a bunch of weird fees tacked on. And when she tried to cancel and go through Wyndam, they wouldn't let her. And then my brother and I had reservations made and when we showed up after 2am (delayed flight) to get our room they said we arrived too late, had given away our rooms and still charged us anyway. So they made double the money on their one room by saying we didn't read the fine print. So, so lackadaisical in their management. Almost nothing worked in the room. Alarm clock with no where to plug it in. Lamps, the tv, didn't work, there are no accessible plugs so I hope you've bought a power strip. Had to call the front desk as the tv was unplugged, not at the plug, but at the back of the tv, and the cord was jammed somewhere I couldn't get to it. Their sweet front desk gal came and had to move the big armoire around to get it for me. I give her all the kudos in the world, but she shouldn't have to do this stuff. Front desk ladies are sweet. Manager is very rude and doesn't acknowledge customer complaints. I stayed for 1 day in 1 room and had no issues. The 2nd time stayed in another room for 2 days and had hot water issues. Instead of treating me with the utmost customer service, he wouldn't listen and believe me. He refused to make it right. Don't go to the Days Inn! Don't give them your business! Very awful and I will never stay at this location again!!! Its not the best room and very crappy!
