    Outside of hotel.

Overall, an ok stay. Hubby booked this hotel on a 3rd party site as a combo w flight. We arrived and were somewhat greeted by Steve. Steve asked hubby for name, skimmed the screen for 3 seconds and informed him there was no reservation. I asked him to check by last name first. Nope. Once hubby showed Steve his confirmation, the reservation magically appeared. Apparently it was hubby's entire name together without spaces. I would think that reservation would have stood out and been easy to locate but I guess not if you barely looked. We were given room 313. We ventured up to our room. The elevator was spacious yet in desperate need of new carpet... or clean carpet for starters. We walked in our room and it was nice. Spacious w a full kitchen, king bed, desk, pull out couch, etc. Overall the room was ok. It was clean and well stocked. Definitely needed a couch shampoo, new carpet as the carpet was coming up and a firm mattress. The tv was nice. It swivels and had a lot of channels. Walkable location as there are shopping centers, restaurants, coffee-shops nearby. Oh, this place offers free breakfast too and free on-site parking. Both of those amenities are always a plus!! I would stay here again.

This is a mixed review and i had thoughts either way that would change the rating between a 1 and a 4, so I decided to break it down as follows. 1. First impressions. 4 stars. This location is right off the freeway, has plenty of parking and is located in an area with several restaurants and is also nearby the race track nothing overly fancy, but just fine business people. 2.Check in and greeting 4 stars. My company pre paid for 3 of us and everything was in order and we didnt have any problems. - Odd moment 1 star. The person at the front desk was nice checking 3 of us in to 3 different rooms, but after i unloaded my luggage from my car and heading back to park, she said something along the lines of " make sure your coworker brings the trolly back" . uh what ? one of my guys used he luggage cart to bring things to his room.. and if he doesnt return it the 30 feet to the lobby.. this is my problem? . eh whatever. . but there is a bonus of fresh, slightly burned cookies between 5 an 6. 3. Getting settled in. 2 stars The room was large, 2 queen beds, with a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, cookware etc. with a view of the pool.. Cool! .. well.. found dust covering the top of the fridge, dust on the microwave, and a hair in the tub.. kinda gross, but otherwise looked clean.. I also opened the freezer to grab the ice bucket and found a partially used cocktail.. possibly from the maid or the previous visitor see pics. 4. sleep, chill time, etc. 3 stars the beds were comfy and the sheets looked clean, the noise level was average, nothing amazing, nothing bad. just about right.. Odd grosser note Negative 4 stars .. at some point i knocked my glasses off the night stand and they fell behind, so i moved the nightstand and found a pile of dust bunnies, a collection of pens, a bottle cap, and an empty bag of beef jerky.. wtf, gross. this must be on the once a year schedule to be cleaned. .. i left the items as found, less my glasses.. see pic. 5. The breakfast... after day 5. 1.5 stars . kill me. its the exact same thing over, and over and over. and no coffee 4 out of 5 times. I informed the lady running the breakfast bar that the coffee and she looked up and said " coffeeeee" ?? and walked away... weird.. i assume she was making more coffee? i'll never know. The fried eggs with black pepper were so so the first day and i grew to loathe these things day after day... the round sausage patties were so so as well.. . i had some regret after day 1, but i was able to work through the discomfort to try again the next day. The toaster seems to have 2 settings .."carbonized black" and "raw" .. i couldnt' seem to cook a bagel right to save my life. The fruit was gross, the oranges were small, bruised and a day from rot, I did see some canned fruit salad, but i didnt want to chance it. There was oatmeal available, but eh.. not feeling it, I think the only safe bet was cereal and boxed milk or yogurt. .. Please for the love of god change the menu every other day or something. .. I did muster the courage to try the waffle maker with the pre poured batter .. it was ok. The lady running the breakfast seemed like she was trying, but not doin so hot.

I've stayed here a few times. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are very clean. They have a great breakfast bar with a good selection of food and drink to start the morning off. The location is perfect with a lot of restaurant selections nearby. I would highly recommend.

It was pretty foul ..upon further inspection The smell was coming from the bathroom shower / drain. in the photos You can see that the bathroom has been moist and moldy for sometime as now the wallpaper and the baseboards are coming off. The quality of the room was not that great ..instead of finishing in fixtures They just took a straight blade razor and hacked it ....it looked pretty tacky. Also there's no lighting in the room. I felt like I was Benjamin Franklin writing the Declaration of Independence by candlelight in a dimly lit tavern. Microwave was not that presentable on the inside either . overall pretty disappointed, considering it is a Hilton brand and was about $200 for one night . there were no other rooms available or I would've asked to be moved . just fair warning sometimes you don't get what you pay for.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially compared to some "renovated" hotels I've stayed at in Las Vegas. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and it included a microwave and small fridge. Breakfast was included with a nice variety like cereal, bread, oatmeal, and make-your-own waffles (red velvet or vanilla). The location was convenient with Target, Cracker Barrel, restaurants, and gas stations nearby. Wish I had more time to enjoy the pool, but overall it was a pleasant last-minute stay and I'd definitely book again.

There is also water, cold brew coffee, hot coffee, and tea available all day. There is breakfast that varies each day with a couple of hot items, always a pancake maker, and cereal/oatmeal. The actual hotel room is very minimalist. Hard floors throughout, open shelves and a bar to hang your clothes. There is a small dorm size fridge, but no microwave. Shower is a walk in and no tub. Complimentary shampoo, soap, and conditioner are large squeeze tubes mounted to the wall. My room was mostly clean but did have some obvious wear even though it's not that old. Overall, it was quiet and I slept great. Negatives - workout room has two treadmills and an exercise bike and a variety of balls and weight benches. But no weights! There were three medicine balls, three different sized kettle bells, and a two pound dumbbell. If you are looking for more than just cardio options, stay somewhere else. There are no nice restaurants within walking distance of this hotel (when it is 110 out) as of when I stayed there. There is a really nice looking White Castle and QuickTrip gas station next door, but everything else was a few blocks away. Oddities/tips They give you a parking pass and tell you to park around back. The pass says they charge $10/day for parking but I didn't get charged. This hotel has tons of parking around it so no idea why they would charge for parking. They don't have a pool per their website and don't tell you when you check in, but my key worked to access the pool next to the hotel! I wouldn't stay here if I wanted to be guaranteed a pool but it's worth trying if you decide you want to go for a swim! The pool is fairly small so maybe during peak use periods, Tru guests wouldn't have access. Overall I am not sure I would stay here again unless I thought the "game room" lobby would be handy like if I was traveling with a group of families or friends who wanted a place to hangout. Our room is minimalist (except for the nice 50" Samsung tv) but very functional. Lots of positive thinking everywhere--from the elevator to the soap dispensers. We were definitely the oldest people in the hotel--everyone else looked like 20's and 30's. Breakfast is pretty standard--oatmeal, eggs, sausage, cereal, juice, fruit, and coffee. Floors are vinyl tile. Bed is very comfortable. Shower is good. Tv--excellent! Highly recommended, unless you're looking for luxury. We paid about $100/night.

Beautiful Resort with Truly Exceptional Service!…read more The Wigwam was such a wonderful experience! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful -- gorgeous Southwestern architecture and landscaping, spacious accommodations, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. But what really made my stay memorable was the people. The service from beginning to end was outstanding. My experience started with an easy check-in and a wonderful surprise -- a complimentary room upgrade! I also had a Tesla that needed charging, and the valet team immediately moved it to the front of the line and took care of it for me. That level of attentiveness continued throughout my entire stay. I loved spending time at the adults-only Oasis Pool, and one of my favorite resort amenities was the golf-cart transportation around the property. Staff will pick you up and take you wherever you'd like to go, which is especially appreciated during the Arizona summer heat! The highlight of my stay was definitely the Summer Sampler at LeMonds Aveda Salon & Spa. It included a wonderful massage and facial, time relaxing by the beautiful spa pool, a delicious fresh salad for lunch, and a wash and style to finish the day. Everyone at the spa was incredibly kind and attentive. Pauline did my hair and was exceptionally sweet -- the perfect ending to such a relaxing day. I also had a great experience at the Wigwam Bar. Amber was a fabulous bartender and server, and Gabriel, the manager, was exceptional. They were happy to accommodate my low-carb request and substitute fresh vegetables for the rice, which was very much appreciated. There are plenty of beautiful resorts, but it's the hospitality that can make a stay truly memorable, and The Wigwam absolutely delivered. Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and well cared for. I would absolutely return and highly recommend The Wigwam for a relaxing Arizona getaway!

We had an Oasis suite and it was spacious and it looked newly renovated. The bathroom had both a tub and a walkin shower and we had a first floor room so we could walk directly to the adult pool. We went swimming every afternoon we were there and other than one person for 10 minutes, we were the only ones swimming. One nice thing is that they provide pool noodles so we could float to our hearts content. From the time we checked in, every person on their staff was helpful and friendly. We found when we checked in that the valets offered a free shuttle throughout the resort. So one night we went to the golf course and took a shuttle there. Since it was 112° it was a great alternative to driving or walking. If we had one quibble, the exterior of the resort, could've used an update. For example, the adult soft water pool surround was cracked in many places. I guess trying to grow grass in Phoenix in the middle of summer is difficult, but it made the common areas look unkempt. But overall, we loved everything else about the resort and would highly recommend staying here.
