I wasn't expecting to walk into a dive bar atmosphere to learn the course. The facility is run down with inadequate tools to learn with. Although the back bar liquor bottles were in passable condition, the bottles on the speed rack looked like they have been there for at least 20 years. The bottles were dirty and labels scratched and unreadable, the soda bottles were beat up without labels so you were guessing what was in the bottles. Since there were no carbonated soda to practice with, you are guessing if you made a drink correctly. There was only one strainer for all of us to share, and it was difficult to garnish a drink with plastic fruit that you couldn't cut into. The instructor tried to show how to 'float' with water, but of course that doesn't work with water. I was surprised they didn't provide the instructor with a syrup to show the 'float' technique or a couple of pieces of fruit to show the proper way to 'muddle'. I guess I'll have to watch a U-Tube video, but for $295 I thought it would be provided. Our instructor, Heather, did a wonderful job of walking us through the workbook and explaining everything in detail. She was patient, thorough and always asked if we had any questions. She did a great job despite the limited supplies she had to work with.

After doing some research, I found Elite Bartending School. Kevin was very responsive, very patient - answered ALL of my questions and then even more. It was never - I'm busy, this is what I can do - take it or leave it. And from the moment I decided to sign with Kevin/Elite Bartending School, it was so effortless the entire time. Kevin took care of ALL the details - every.last.one -- there wasn't one thing out of place. He ensured that what he planned addressed all of my worries - make sure what's planned is accepted by hotel rules, make sure it's professional but fun for the crowd...EVERY.SINGLE.DETAIL - down to glassware and so so much more. Kevin brought along one of the students from Elite to the cocktail hour to assist - Ian and he also was amazing, paid attention to every detail and was responsive to my questions (even on site) and was attentive to make sure that Kevin was able to do his thing without any hiccups. There were ZERO issues - it was flawless and the crowd happily stood in the line to watch Kevin and get one of his amazing cocktails (vs. we had to have a hotel bartender on the side being able to offer other drinks)...there was a constant, happy long line to meet and engage with Kevin. The bartender had to purchase items. My family had to go to the store three separate times during the wedding for supplies and additional liquor. There was no Red Breast, which was specifically requested. The Soda ran out before the reception even started. There was nothing other than Jameson (which I purchased) within 1 hr. The bartenders did "ok" with what they had. They ran out of cups. They ran out of mixers. From what I understand, the owner waited until the morning of to purchase these items which caused the majority of these issues. This whole situation is completely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. Everything about this experience was terrible. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

From the tasting, the personal service, the variety of choices, and almost most importantly, the price, we got it all!!! Almost $20 pp cheaper than a wedding recently involved with at a fancy downtown Orl.Historical Bed and Breakfast, and CCE was soooo much more delicious! Monica came with several attendants/servers/set-up on time, had all of her linens, supplies, everything she needed. Her people were sweet, and we had a cash bar with a very nice bar tender, who also served free tea and lemonade. The food was perfect. Fancy salad with cheese, fruit, special greens, very flavorful and seasoned vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes, rolls, Tender Beef Burgundy, Chicken Piccata-I think-it was a few months ago-...
