John is beyond wonderful! He has fitted my husband for his first Tux. We have been back to get more jackets to stretch that Tux. Husband gets lots of compliments. This is very simple ... get your tux HERE. I'm from out-of-town and wanted a cutaway tuxedo for my youngest daughter's wedding last weekend. I saw John's superior reviews and spoke with him from home before arriving for my first fitting. I have had the occasion to rent several tuxedos over the years. We do tapering on suit and tuxedo rentals and purchases at Daytona Tuxedos. You can rent for as low as $169 including tax and have it made to fit your body. You do not leave until you are happy with the customized fit. Daytona Tuxedos is the only one known to do this specialty work at no extra charge for Suit or Tuxedo rentals. We sell suits and tuxedos as low as $100 plus tax. Daytona Tuxedos specializes in BIG MAN sizes. Daytona Tuxedos will make any size suit, Big Man shirts up to size 7x tall, all size vests, up to 20 wide shoes, and extra long ties. Daytona Tuxedos sells suits and tuxedos to kids as young as 6 months. Choose your style - Euro slim, ultra slim, slim-fit suits, slim-fit tuxedos, modern fit, and classic baggy fit.

History

Established in 1987.

Originally located in Port Orange as Florida Formal Wear of Port Orange, then moved to Holly Hill, then South Daytona as John's Bridal. For 1 year, I had it Tux World, but everyone kept asking if I had tuxedos, so I changed the name for the last time to Daytona Tuxedos and have been at this location over 5 years.

The woman in the store failed to tell me this before I tried on the shoes, and only told me after the fact, essentially forcing me to buy the pair of shoes that I was on the fence about. I ended up buying the shoes because I did not want to pay the $10 fee, and knew I was going to use them eventually. The shoes are fine, but I felt so violated and manipulated as a customer that it made me not want to return. Regarding the fee, there was no posted sign or notice in sight. Maybe this is a common occurrence in dance stores, but this was not a pleasant surprise, and I know the FTC and BBB will not be happy to hear about this deception and misrepresentation of pricing.
