So aside from waiting nearly 20min past my appointment time, it was an alright first visit. Staff was friendly, place was clean. Loved the children's artwork on the wall. Dr. J is an interesting man, haha. Though he speaks quickly and sometimes could seem aggressively, he seems thorough with his methods. I'm interested to see how follow up sessions pan out. I appreciate his straight forwardness (if that's even a word). I don't like the dance around the subject, sugar coat and tell you want to hear type stuff, so I feel in this sense he is quite authentic with his methods. Will update upon further visits!

Despite knowing damn well what my insurance covers and how much co-pays, deductible, and out of packet max are I was originally told by Sean that the services would be free, which I knew was absolutely too good to be true, but I figured I would see what this was about than 30 minutes before my evaluation you guys canceled on me saying that you were waiting to get authorization from my insurance. Well, your insurance people are smart enough to be able to call to verify benefits, but not to actually submit for the authorization after a month of back-and-forth being told that there was some sort of an issue with the authorization. It turns out the insurance team just tried to apparently send it through telepathy rather than actually on paper or via fax or email or any other method. You guys effectively wasted a month of my time where I could've gotten my son some actual help and now I'm back at square one. I hope you guys walk around in socks and step on wet spots in the carpet for the rest of your lives

I have been seeing therapists off and on for almost 40 years and have really never benefited from…read moreit at all... until I began seeing Gabby with Sunshine Senior Counseling almost two years ago after the death of both of my parents in 2021. I had so much hitting me really hard in life other than the death of my parents that I will not go into, but I will say this, if not for Gabby, there's a chance I wouldn't be here today. She helped save my life... literally. I saw her every single week for about 18 or 19 months. She listened. She never judged. She gave me great coping techniques. After all these years, I never would have thought therapy could have been beneficial to me, but at the beginning of 2022, I had fallen through the trap door at the bottom of the barrel and I had absolutely no where else to turn. This was the last thing I knew to do. I talked to Beth, the owner, and she listened with care and concern to what I was going through and she paired me with Gabby and I had an appointment within days. Beth couldn't have chosen a better person for me. I still see Gabby, I have an appointment with her this week, but now that I'm living life loud and happy again, I'm only seeing her every couple of weeks now. I've even been able to go 3 or 4 weeks without seeing her because I'm doing so well. Having said that, I will continue to see Gabby on the reg because even though I'm doing very well now, I know there are always going to be things I need to get off my chest and it's just not always a good idea to vent and put these things on your spouse, friends, or family members. And even though I'm not seeing Gabby every week now, I know I can text her and she will get me on her schedule asap! Beth also went above and beyond to work with me on my copays because I was going through probate; not only were my husband and I paying all of our bills, but we were also paying all of my parents' bills. Money became tight very quickly after they passed and continued for over a year and a half because probate and selling a home with land in another state is not easy at all. Without Beth's help, I would not have been able to afford to see a therapist and I don't even want to think of what may have happened. Bottom line, Beth and Gabby care. Period. I'm sure all of the therapists with the company care just as much; I just haven't had any interaction with anyone else. It's difficult for me to say anything else without going into more of my personal life, and I'm not willing to do that. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you to Beth and Gabby! Also, this is a telehealth practice, meaning all appointments are virtual. There is no brick and mortar location to visit. It's very convenient. I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure they service most areas in the state of Florida. It's nice they are able to do that! It was especially nice while covid was still running rampant. As the name of the company suggests, the therapists do specialize in dealing with seniors; however, I'm a 51 year old Gen-Xer. I believe they will see adults of any age. I'll ask Gabby later this week and update the review to be sure. Take care of your mental health. Really. Do it! Call and make an appointment! Please take care of yourself!

I kept remembering my preferences while we were in the process of booking and I really appreciate him. The yelp reviews really worried me, but I realize people usually go to yelp to complain I will update my review if something financial comes up because I'm brand new to this company for both therapy and psychiatry.

I guess I have to go to the emergency room. You don't just quit psych drugs. They are unprofessional. They are rude and the girl hung up on me. Worst place ever do not ever go there unless you wanna get more mentally unwell they suck.
