My kids are currently 8 and 6, and have been enjoying working with DC Way coaches for the past few years, both in summer camps and in a private learning pod during the pandemic. Our family has really appreciated the approach of Coach Denis and his team to first and foremost, instill a love of the game. Neither of my children had much experience of soccer before working with DC Way staff, and they both enjoy it now and have started to learn some helpful techniques. I also appreciate the services Coach Denis provided during the pandemic, when kids were not in school, but still had the chance to play with their friends outside. DC Way provided us with coaches that could meet at a time and place that could accommodate schedules of multiple working families. My son Mikhail(13) participated as a assistant on training last Summer to one of DC Way camp. He got so much out of it. He learnt to be responsible, got more organized with his school stuff,he won 1 competition DC Way does every day at the camp. He loved it. He never played soccer before or any other sport. After going to DC Way camp,he started to beg me to let him join the team last Fall, what we actually did and they won the title that season. My younger son,who is 6, did some of DC Way training and loved that too. I'd never imagine the program can have such a big impact. My son has participated in DC Way and it has beneficial to him. It is amazing how fast he learns in a fun environment and I can see the improvement from session to session. He's not just building his soccer skills but I can tell that he has becoming more confident and has learning how to work in a team. My son is kindergartener and all of these skills are super important and helpful to him. Finally,Coach Denis, is great! The children enjoy his class so much. We've been part of the DC Way family for probably four or five years now and I just can't say enough good things about Denis, all the coaches and programs. We've done the summer camps, day off of school camps, SOTH clinics and now his travel team. My girls have learned so much - way beyond the soccer skills and sportsmanship. What a fantastic summer camp! I brought my son who is almost 5 to try this soccer camp after trying another summer camp where seemed bored and unhappy, and I cannot recommend it high enough! The coaches are wonderful and attentive, they take regular water breaks to make sure everyone stays hydrated (it is a hot summer after all!), and their games are a lot of fun! Since my son is still quite young, a big plus is that other big kids who are assistant coaches are looking after little ones and make sure they are all having a good time, while learning some good soccer skills and team play! read more

DcWay is a great soccer program for both children and adults! My friend's child is amazed by the coach-Denis! He is always excited when he talks about him and about what he learns during the practice! He absolutely loves it! This fall DcWay offered a new program for women. The practice took place twice a week at about 8pm outdoors. Having no previous experience in soccer, I still joined the class! It was a great decision!!! It combines fun and workout! Coach Denis and his team are focused on instilling joy for soccer in the kids - having him in DC/Capitol Hill has been a huge positive for the local soccer scene. I have been volunteering/coaching with my son since he was a toddler and I know the difference that positive attitude and deep skills brings to the kids. We're big fans of DC Way. Our 6 six year old son has taken part in outdoor and indoor camps, clinics and after school programs. And he's developed a greater appreciation and enjoyment of soccer because of them. Talented group of coaches and staff. This past summer was our daughter's first experience with the DC Way summer camp. She worked with the younger athletes as a CIT while also working to develop leadership skills and improve her soccer game! I had one of the best experiences last summer as assistant coach. Coach Denis runs one of the most professional soccer clubs I know.
