Ben didn't try to convince me to upgrade to higher grade materials. However, I decided to go with the 'middle tear' roofing material. Benelli roofing discovered some rot because the old roof had been installed improperly. Rather than charging a bunch of extra $$$, the repairs (including new plywood at the roof edges) only came to $300 including labor AND materials. Ben Benelli didn't require any deposit and didn't require a signed contract to get us on his books. The company is licensed and bonded. His crew consists of himself plus two others - one of which is also a licensed roofer with many years of experience. I TOTALLY recommend Benelli roofing if you need a new roof.

I was advised that Steve would handle everything and they weren't kidding. Aside from handling the lights, they ended up doing some hardwood work on my stairs, installed a new door, fixed issues in my bathrooms and did some touch up paint work. Given, aside from the recessed lighting, these were last minute request were not planned and they shifted some schedule and made it work for me. After each day of construction, they left the place very clean and livable to not get in the way of my stay in the place. They are very knowledgeable and are willing to educate if you ask. Will definitely be using these guys for my bathroom remodel in the future. Also, they work acquire most if not all their work from word of mouth. I was trying to do some research on their quality of work, and couldn't find anything. So I created this review to let folks know these aren't a bunch of amateurs (they did have an apprentice with them), but actually have good craftsmanship. We had an excellent experience with Carlisle Construction, used for a master bathroom/master closet…read moreremodel. Steve Carlisle is easy to work with, knows his business, is as honest as they come and did an outstanding job for us: on time, on budget and no problems. We have been putting up with a tiny master bath/closet area for almost 24 years. Carlisle Construction was recommended to us by the company we were using again for our granite (Granite Transformations). First thing we did was check his license: all excellent. Then we had Steve come out for an in-depth interview. It was obvious from the get-go that he knows his business, was determined to get all our info/input, including getting his own area measurements, before making a quote. In fact, he had no-obligation design options done up for us before making a quote. We nitpicked the designs until we got what best met our needs, with Steve's encouragement and professional input. He's not pushy, but he is firm when he feels that his years of experience trump our "gee, it would be nice..." And he was always right, we'd find out later. We got a detailed quote, we set a work schedule, and work began. Work included tearing down just about everything we had for a master bath & closet and rebuilding. Steve pulled all necessary permits and his crew (no sub-contractors except for plumbing) was always here on schedule, worked hard and in a professional manner, took care to protect our flooring and furniture and were friendly, as well. There were a few small glitches during the 5-week project, but when is there ever NOT a glitch in such a project? Nothing major (wrong sized door, etc), and all work passed official inspections as it moved forward. We made a 10% deposit on the project when work began, and we made incremental payments as it progressed, with final payment after all work had been completed, inspected and we had indicated satisfaction. Two months later, and we're still extremely pleased with the results. And happy to recommend Carlisle Construction Co. See our review for Granite Transformations, who did our bathroom vanity and shower. Also excellent experience. Update Jan. 2014: We used Carlisle Construction again, in late-2013, for our second bathroom. He removed a sunken tub and replaced it with a walk-in shower, plus new flooring and all new plumbing fixtures and new cabinets (which he now can supply) and did just as excellent a job for us as he did before. We still highly recommend Steve and his company.

Nick was the only guy who would come to check on my small leak during the heavy rain in late 2022…read more He found the leak quickly and told me he would give me a quote. I told Nick, you can't leave. I asked if he can do something to temporary stop the leak. Nick was kind enough to get something from his truck to stop the leak. I was so impressed with his willingness to help so after the rain stopped, I asked Nick to come back to access the condition of my roof. He suggested that we could put a layer of silicon on half of the roof which was in pretty bad shape. That should hold up for a few years until I am ready to have the whole roof redone. Many thanks for Nick's hard work. My roof held up after a few more heavy rain pour.
