I can't thank DCS Electric (specifically/especially Douglas and Nick) enough. After buying our first home and have a handful of things we needed help with and having no clue where to even start or who to call--DCS Electric was a lifesaver. Not only that, they were completely transparent with the pricing and time the electrician would be there. I called around before landing on DCS and they're beyond fair and competitive with their cost/services. To list a few services: - Drilled a concealable hole to connect our mesh system to the router without wires to be shown - Drilled / re-wired multiple mounted TVs so zero wires would be visible once mounted - Uninstalled an old counter stovetop in the kitchen and reinstalled a new one - Sorted which light switch went to which light all throughout the house and re-wired / added switches where it would make more sense. For example, the garage light switch was in two rooms over from the garage--now we can turn on/off the garage lights while IN the garage Now every time we have something pop up that we don't know how to tackle ourselves we look at each other and say "let's just call DCS" read more

I had DCS Electric do a simple rewiring job at my house which took the electrician 1.5 hours with material costs that could not have have exceeded $50. But for this job I was charged $450. The prevailing electrician rate in Palm Beach County is $100 an hour so I was overcharged by $250. I gave DCS the opportunity to adjust the charge but they refused to do so. My wife and I bought a foreclosure in terrible shape in West Palm and it had many electrical issues. Doug came and walked us through everything that needed to be done, even costing himself some work as he recommended against some of the smaller repairs.
