    The most incompetent company I've ever dealt with…read more This company completely wasted my time. Their technician came to my house, looked at my AC unit, and told me it was "broken" and needed to be replaced. When I asked for an estimate on a new system, they said they couldn't provide one because they didn't know how to rebuild the support structure for the unit. That was unbelievable--they're supposed to be professionals. I decided to call another technician, who came promptly, correctly diagnosed the real issue, and fixed the problem the same day. Here's what the second technician explained: The main inoperation diagnosis was; Condensate Drainline failure. Adjustment in the drainline as well as cleaning and flushing was done in order for the unit to start working properly. Also, the thermostat presented signs of malfunction and was replaced in order to prevent future breakdowns. Full preventive maintenance and inspection was also performed and no other faults were reported. Thanks to the second company, my AC is working perfectly. This first company either didn't know what they were doing or tried to upsell a full replacement unnecessarily. Bottom line:Avoid this company. They lack the basic competence to diagnose or quote repairs -- and almost cost me thousands of dollars for no reason. In response to the manager: When a service provider cannot perform the work they were contracted for due to their own limitations and lack of knowledge, I believe any customer is justified in asking for their money back or they can put an honest one star review

    My father lived in Century Village condo community. I moved in with him 2 years ago. The condo…read moreassociation takes care of exterior utility issues in conjunction with the city as far as I know. Dad passed away in February 2024. However, FPL Home sent 3 solicitation letters to his attention this past summer. One such letter invited recipients to call a toll free number if you wish to be removed from the mailing list. I called the number. A man with a thick accent answered. I asked for them to remove my late father from the mailing list. The man said he is with Home Serve USA Repair Management Corporation, not FPL Home. He requested my father's name and address. I tried to tell him. The guy took 5 minutes to understand me. Then he claimed he couldn't find an "account" for my father. I told him I was holding 3 letters in my hand from his company addressed to my father so they obviously have information on him. The guy requested my phone number to "create an account." I refused to give him my number. I asked for his supervisor. He initially declined. He agreed after I threatened further action. He placed me on hold. I hung up after waiting 5 minutes. On September 7, I mailed a "cease and desist" letter to Home Serve USA. I warned that I would post a negative review here if they or their contractor or subsidiary solicited my late father again. A couple days ago, I received a new solicitation letter from them dated October 15. As promised, I am posting this review.
