The owners of this salon are horrible dishonest people, they recently had their salon completely remodeled, they owe the contractor who worked very late hours and spent their own money for materials and now DD's owners are refusing to pay $5,000. Don't use this salon! Or if you do, mention how much you like the remodel and how much you respect honesty and integrity, and you hope they paid their contractor!!!! read more

Chau is the best! She's been cutting my hair for almost 15 years! She is so relatable and Friendly and I've never been disappointed once!

I had Teri cut and dye my hair. I wanted my hair to be a balayage-ombré. It took 3 times to get my hair to what I wanted. I think Teri needs to be more respectful to her customers, especially when a customer is not satisfied with his/her hair. After re-doing my hair for the third time she said to me: "If I'm going to re-do your hair again, I'm going to cry." I just didn't reply anything. Then Teri said "When you came into my shop, you had chemicals in it already." I have dyed my hair in the past, but she was not able to make my hair into a balayage ombré. She also asked how much I paid for my hair using groupon ($26) then she told me she will add $50 on top of the groupon because the balayage and length of hair (I get it). In short, I paid $76 for a long hair, balayage ombré. It was not worth the $76. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable working with Teri. I'm all about great customer satisfaction and I'm never going here again. read more

I received amazing customer service from Chau! I have not been able to find a good hairstylist ever and have been settling for mediocre haircuts. She reassured me that she would take care of me and she did! I received amazing layers and she fixed my awfully cut bangs so much that I love them now! I never have conversations with my hairstylists because I'm shy but she had me spilling my whole life story. Wonderful experience and I have now found my forever hairstylist! First of all I came in expecting to pay the $45 for the groupon but she had mentioned once I got there that since my length was long she would have to charge me more for it. I ended up paying $85 total plus she talked me into buying a product since it was buy one get one free so my total came out to be $100 plus tips came out to be $120. Also, I asked for a balayage technique which she had no idea what it was (surprise to me) and told me that what I wanted was highlights using foils with ombré. I loved how it looked finished and very content when I left. However, it's been about 3 months now and my highlights are grown out and not the way I would like them to like balayage would've done. My wife and I had a Groupon so used it yesterday since it was the earliest to have both appointments at the same time. Well, it turned out that her other stylist was not available but the owner was nice to cut both our hair. It turned out there were a lot of cancellations due to Halloween according to the owner. Anyways, she was very accommodating and even washed my hair too even though it was not included. My wife got her hair conditioned and then cut with blow dry. She even liked that the owner gave a sample after using some mousse and other products in her hair. The owner forgot our phone number and was unable to let us know about her stylist cancellation so gave us business card for discount on our next haircut. I went in to use my Groupon for a perm and cut. I have hair that is very long and thick. She not only did a great job in a great amount of time, but she also listened to what I wanted. I was very satisfied. Just a reminder that if your hair is long and thick, you may get charged more money outside of the Groupon, but that is included in the Groupon fine print and Teri reminded me of that before she started on my hair. I used a Groupon for a full foil and haircut on my first visit to this salon. I was pleased with the service - they are beyond friendly and it's a great little place. Teri was my stylist, and I liked her work. I have never had color before, and am not sure I made the right color choices. She was helpful with suggestions, but I could have used more guidance probably - no reflection on her necessarily. She gave me a good haircut, but it is not exactly what I asked for. I know I could go back and she would do it to my liking, but I think I'll live with it for a while and give it another shot. Easy access, nice location, good parking. I had a terrible experience with this salon. I purchased a Groupon for a full foil and cut. The "full" foil was about 14 foils and I didn't need the cut which I told her. The cut turned out to be an Edward Scissor hands style cut that I am still trying to rectify. I would not recommend and proceed with caution. read more

I came in to get my color lifted I had purple I left with orange pink and purple . Terri gave me blotchy bulky highlights then told me to continue to bleach but said she couldn't do anything else and I still had to pay. I would give no stars if I could! I had to go to another salon to have it fixed. read more

The salon is old and nobody is in it. Teri was horrible- I walked in and sat in the chair - Teri grabbed her scissors and cut a piece of my hair off. She said this way You won't leave and I'm committed to stay. She washed my hair and left soap in my neck hairs - she cut my hair like a mushroom! I hope her license is current! read more

We're both very pleased with the results. Teri was friendly, did a great job on both of our cuts. I'm very pleased with the way my hair turned out! I go to Teri quite often. She does my haircuts and foils. She always does a great job. She does a pedicure for me about every 6 weeks and does a little design on the big toe. Today she did my pedicure in purple and gold for the football season. I also have her do my brow was at the same time. I noticed today that she is sprucing up the place. Put in a new floor and is working on other furnishings. Teri is very delightful to do business with and super friendly. Never a dull moment and the time goes fast as we never stop talking. I highly recommend her and have sent a few people her way that have been very happy with her work. read more

I am not one to jump to conclusions and write a bad review based off one experience, but my interaction with DD was so poor, I need to let others know to proceed with caution. I bought a Groupon for a haircut because I wanted a last minute cut before vacation. I made an appointment ahead of time and when I showed up, there was just one guy in the salon cutting someone else's hair. He never greeted me or acknowledged me so I stood there for a good five minutes feeling unsure if I was even at the right place. Then he finally said "she'll be right back." There was another customer in a stylists' chair but no stylist in sight. Finally a woman came from the back of the shop and continued cutting that lady's hair. I eventually had to say 'excuse me??' to get her attention. She came to the front counter then and asked if she could help me. I told her I had an appointment for 2:30. At this point it's 2:45. She looks at her schedule book and there's my name, with another name written next to it. She said "oh yea, I guess I accidentally double booked this time. can you come back another day?" Umm you wrote a name right next to mine; that's not an accident! I told her I was leaving on vacation so wouldn't be able to reschedule. She didn't even care that I left without a haircut or another appointment. Then I realized when I got back from vacation that I left my Contigo water bottle there. I called and asked about it. She said she had it and I told her I'd come get it the next day. I went back the next day and she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about and when I reminded her that she told me the day before that she had it, she went in the back and came out with a bottle that was nothing like what I described to her and played kind of dumb asking if that was it. I told her no and asked where it could have gone overnight. She said "oh I don't know." Again it was just a weird interaction all together and I left without my Contigo that seems to have disappeared at DD hair salon. Just don't bother going here regardless of the deal.
