This is a large department store with a large Parking Lot. They have cute things here and there. It's packed in here with merchandise. I was not able to find a Restroom and couldn't find a Store Associate to ask. They have aot of trash laying outside and the lines are full. read more

Honesty alert! I've never been to a DD's before this visit. I think I was expecting a very disorganized, possibly trashy Ross. Based on the other reviews, I added rude employees and long lines. To set the stage, it was a Saturday, early afternoon. It was like Ross but much more organized than I had anticipated. The prices were very good. The employee we interacted with the most was the security person and she was incredibly nice. The store is crammed with clothes and home goods. There was a line at the register of 5 people but it was moving quickly. There were at least two registers open. Overall though it was just a clothes and home goods store with low prices with overstuffed racks. Don't go in here expecting to run in and run out. You'll need to be ready to shop! read more

On a Saturday, this place is the most. The lines are long, the noise is high but thr prices are LOW LOW LOW (but not those apple bottom jeans and the boots with the furs *with the furrrsss*). It is a DD's, the little stepbrother of Ross. Same brands and items. The location of this store is a great one. Ample parking. The staff is relatively friendly. The only downside to this store is that it is rather small. The mens section offers little variety. The ties are all but absent. The dress shirts picked over. They have more casual shoes than dress and it is always in a state of disarray. However, for the prices, this is to be expected. I went in there for a simple fix and got more then I expected. Between the service and their low tire prices. This shop will always be my go to when it comes to my tire needs. I just needed to put my tire on the bead because I was having a hard time doing it myself, but after employee handling my needs and not charging me for the service . I couldn't be more grateful. This place is nothing exciting to see. But I used to pop in and out once in a while on a work break, looking for nothing specific. I have got a few random items for my kitchen there. Like mixing bowls and utensils. They never have enough registers open and there has been many of times I've walked in and out because of the line being so long. that If i were to find something here I didn't have the time to wait. If I wanna browse around for random things I'll pick Ross anyway of the week, but this one is close to my job. The only thing i can think was a good move for them was them moving from over off of Arkansas. I haven't been to this store itself but hopefully it's big enough room to shop with out being crowded in each aisle. read more

It had some cute clothing items. The hidden gems are the travel, accessories and perfume. It's Judy unorganized and loss prevention at the front like Walmart. But aside from that. I'll be back. read more

Worst store ever.... all employees are non educated have no manners... and have the worst attitudes. I went in as a customer shopping with my 4 year old child. When asked if they would allow my child to use their restroom we were greeted with ignorance... I advise anyone not to go to these stores they are so "ratchet" no class and NO EDUCATION. I was completely appalled by the repose I received. I like the store itself because it reminds me of a Ross but when I saw the line in this particular, I wanted to turn and walk out. The line wrapped at least three times and was towards the back of the store by the baby/kid clothes and it wasn't moving too quickly either. I don't know if they just need more registers or if it was too many people at once but a line like that often will definitely drive some people away. read more

For this location to be relatively new its pretty disappointing. It feels like its been here for several years old. There are things in the aisle and the shelves are disorganized. A bit frustrating. read more

Hubby and I went on a Sunday after Church with the kiddos I got to pick out clothes for him for once (very exciting) great prices I also got a lot of great items for my daughter and son for a great price. Got some home décor. The only improvement I would say is the lines are pretty long. Other than that it was great. Definitely will be back in the spring to look for some items for Easter and the warmer weather. Also the manager checked me out and she was so kind and helpful. read more

First time here and ever at a DD's store. The Store had some pretty good things. Purchased a few items for our home. Only con: my spouse and I were followed almost the entire time around the store by a loss prevention guy. I honestly felt annoyed and didn't want to shop anymore. But I couldn't help the deals there and was in the neighborHOOD for the first time and knew those items I purchased was a steal. I probably would not shop at this DD's location in the future or any and just stick with my local Home Goods Store. I never have any issues there. read more

Customer service is terrible from the manager on down I know the merchandise is inexpensive but that's no excuse for poor customer service. The manager accidentally charged me twice for an item , I went back so she could correct the error, she wanted me to wait in line again!!! I had already waited 30 minutes!!!!!! read more

This is a good place to shop. They have a good variety of things to choose from. From clothes to shoes handbags baby items and so on. But it can be a bit unorganized. Lines for checking out are very long. So don't be in a rush when you go. read more

A Messy store in regards to organization of products, and very poor customer service by the Loss Prevention rent-a-cop people (i.e. being treated as if you were intending on stealing something, while simply taking time browsing along in this fairly large store). ) There is a Wide variety of products, however many housewares items have smashed boxes, which results upon returning home and opening the box discovering missing or broken pieces and going back numerous times for a refund. This problem I believe results in careless parents letting their children run amok, unsupervised in the store. read more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE...HEADSHEADS UP!!!!! I just came back from DD's here on Fondren, which is a subsidiary of Ross Department Store. While shopping I went back to try on some clothing and a man was allowed to come into the WOMEN'S DRESSING AREA!!!!!!!! Another woman ran out and told the younglady who advised there was nothing she could do. The woman then went to the front of the store and the assistant manager advised DD's and Ross are enforcing this right. She advised if someone identifies (no matter if they are still fully male and not dressed in make up), they are allowed to use the women's changing room. I explained that this STATUTE DID NOT PASS IN HOUSTON OR THE STATE OF TEXAS!!! I also advised, the identification (according to the statute); states they must LIVE THEIR LIVES AS WOMEN. I said if this is the case then they need to check State issued ID cards and DL, and if they are not listed as a woman...no way. She gave me the name of the district manager and the corporate 800 number. I called, and spoke with this girl who advised DDS AND ROSS WILL ABIDE BY FEDERAL LAWS. I advised there is NO FEDERAL LAW THAT ENFORCES THIS YET! This heifer told me to get over it.........If you use DDS, Ross and Target, watch out...I WILLNEVER USE THIS OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER STORES AGAIN!!!!!! read more
