However, Lowes failed us. We were told by a Lowes employees who came out to give us a quote, that a simple, non-custom exterior door would be installed within 6 weeks if not before. It ended up being almost 4 months. We paid $1400 upfront and didn't see installation until months later. Scheduling kept getting delayed for no reason at all. The weather was nice so it wasn't due to that. We kept getting calls, emails, texts saying the door hadn't been received, our installation date had changed, etc. They even quoted it to be installed on a Saturday, which installation never happens on a weekend. Then, finally, on the day of installation, the installer goes to pickup the installation materials, and is told they didn't have everything because they had mailed some materials to our home (unbeknownst to us, which we never received anything). This came from our installer, not Lowe's. Lowe's then proceeded to tell us that we were going to have to yet again, reschedule installation. But thanks to the installer, Paul, he found a way to make it work. Thank you, Paul! As far as the installer goes, they were A+++!! Paul arrived on time and installed our door perfectly with no issues. However, we will never use Lowe's again.

As a Texas native, I historically feel I have to go to San Antonio for this type of pottery. I just got back from San Antonio recently and she had a couple same items (priced same or a little cheaper) and many different pottery that I didn't see in San Antonio (where shops tend to carry the same things). So I'm super grateful and will be going back, She's having a sale on the large pottery right now as she's trying to scale down due to reduced demand. There are so many beautiful pieces. It reminded me of the shops in the Mercado in San Antonio except I didn't have to fight the crowds of people. The owner was very helpful and showed us different items and colors. She wasn't pushy. While we were there, some of her regular customers came in to shop. It's in a funny spot in the parking lot. But the signs are there and easy to find. I think it is next to an insurance office. If you are looking for lizard decor, cool pots of all sizes and colors, birdbaths, funny peeing dogs, and excellent customer service...then Rosa's is your spot. Shop local. Shop smart.

Now, I am one to bring a sweater with me even in the summer bc stores are so chilly and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this store felt like the surface of the sun. I was melting. Made for an uncomfortable visit. Giving them the benefit of the doubt that this was due to the Reno. The toy section is split into numerous locations which was confusing. Right when we thought we found it, it was only a single sided aisle and was like- this is not it. Then we'd find it again. Nope, only a small row. Again, probably due to the Reno. Items we needed weren't on the shelf but after going to customer service, they had 11 in stock and needed to send someone in the back to get us them. So that was good. An alright value. $10 wired headphones not terrible. $5 for the adapter to be able to plug it into an iPad. Hope they last. Workers were friendly and helpful.
