We have used Certa Pro painters in three other states that we've lived in and have always been very pleased with the work, but unfortunately this time it has left us disappointed. We had interior painting done last fall. There were countless drips & paint mishaps left on the floors in every room, door trims, kitchen cabinets, etc. I had to touch up the white trim & cabinets before Christmas since we had guests coming to visit. I found dozens more splatters on the floors recently as I washed the floors on my hands & knees after other upgrade projects were completed. Pics of just a handful are attached. I scraped up a lot before I started taking pictures. It doesn't seem they used drop cloths at all. The bathroom floor had a partial paint footprint behind the door. The biggest disappointment is the way the wall paint now appears around the door frames & shower stall. You can see where the wide brush marks and rolling were not blended. The wall trim paint looks like a brushed stripe in comparison to the rolled paint.....around all the doors. Simply put, it looks awful. We've never seen this before with Sherwin Williams paint which we've been using for over 30 years. Poor quality work, poor clean up, sloppy edges. I gave them 2 stars only because the coffered ceiling paint came out nice even though there were numerous drips on the floor in that area.

Vegas quote for master closet, 3 bedrooms smoothing the ceilings, adding crown molding, replacing base boards, painting ceilings, walls, doors and replacing doors hardware quote was $2k less than other quote! Vega also made Great suggestions that I had not thought of, provided the paint and crown molding and most importantly they were on time at 8am! Clean up was immaculate!

BEWARE of this guy named OSCAR RAMIREZ aka OSCAR CALDERON. He comes off as a calm cool demeanor…read morenice guy. He seems easily trustable which is why it was devastating to get scammed by him (he reciprocated stories about family, how he comes fishing at the Buford Dam, etc. When we first called, he asked how we got his number which should have alerted us. Then when he came, he dropped a hint that his white/silver dodge caravan needs service. On the day he was to start work, he messaged saying he cannot come in because his car isn't working and needed a towing AND sent a photo to prove it. He also requested a key to the house which we stupidly gave thinking we are going to change the locks anyway since we had not moved in yet (when we questioned it, he trustingly said "it's not like I just keep a stash of keys, I return them".) Few days into the work after given 50% of the cost as agreed on the contract which we normally would not have but he was very convincing, he asked for more money to fix his car. He worked only a handful of days and then kept extending the end date without a real reason. When you go check on the house during normal paint job hours (i.e. 2-3pm in the afternoon), there are NO cars on site that belong to his associates. He has not responded to messages, texts/phone calls after we started suspecting and contacted him. He also did not have enough people working at the house. He took a strip of paint off the wall and now it looks botched. He was unreachable when it was observed that no one was coming to the house to complete the paint job even though in less than 2 days the project was to be completed. After calling, messaging, he had not got back to us in 2 days except when we sent him a photo of a fb post that showed he scammed someone else. He then called me and said he has completed the job but really had not. Believe the others because this guy WILL scam and ghost you after he gets your money for those jobs that quote few to several thousand dollars.
