From among the choices that day, I opted for a menu item named seafood Florentina and would be eating inside the small but tidy restaurant. The platter was good, with the main ingredient - the fish - being tasty. The portion sizes were good and the accompanying salad and broth were appreciated. The presentation just didn't look like any other Florentine dish I've had. It was sort of "busy," with other ingredients I've not seen in Florentine presentations in the U.S. I think it's something they can revisit if they choose to. Note that this is a strong 3 stars for Fish King in Brownsville and it's for the restaurant. Note that it's much easier to approach this restaurant from Brownsville, traveling eastbound, so you can make a right turn between its entry pilasters to its parking lot. With all the business they do and loyal customer base, it's fairly obvious that the fish market itself delivers.
