My husband wanted me to get rid of it and another restoration expert had told me he couldn't do the work. but when I told Lisa I had an emotional attachment to it, she totally understood. When she returned it, it was so gorgeous I didn't recognize it!. Lisa had refinished the surface so it was a rich, even color, while protecting the old travel stickers from Japan. She never returned any of my calls except once (when she called she told me she couldn't talk because she was watching a game but would call me back; she never did). I met Lisa a couple of years ago when she referred me to friend. I had a veneer Bassett dining table I bought from JC Penny 30 years ago and it was showing a lot of wear and tear. I was doubtful that much could be done. Lisa ended up "assisting" her referral and my table looks brand new. Pretty amazing and very cost reasonable. When I had two dark water mark stains on my floor from plants, all the pros said the spots would need to be replaced. Lisa was the ONLY one who said it could be bleached and the wood brought back to a pretty good match. Good for her, is great for the normal eye. Afterwards one of the professional floor refinishers were very impressed with Lisa's work and wanted her name and number. I also had a white oak mantle over my fireplace, Lisa glazed the mantle, and matched the color I wanted by "making it" from several colors. It looks beautiful, modern, and flawless.
