We had termites in our trees so the tech suggested we get our house treated. We have had them for 5…read moreplus years. We got a quote of 1000 dollars for the treatment the suggested us to go through a financing company they use to make it more affordable. I filled out the app and got approve the company states they don't release the funds until the job is done. Once the job was completed I release the funds from the loan. The following next day I got an email stating my card on file was charged that I did not approve. I called them that day to have this address they put in a refund request. Then the very next day the card was again charged another 1k dollars. When I call again they said sorry they mess up and I stated now because of how the card is set up I will have to pay interest on 2k of credit card charges cause the refund will not be completed in time and I will still have to pay interest on the loan. When ask if I will get a discount or anything to compensate the error of their ways I was given the run around and just sorry it happened. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST SIGNING UP FOR THIS COMPANY ALONE BUT IF YOU DO SIGN UP FOR THEM DON'T SIGN UP FOR AUTO-BILLING CAUSE THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS WITHOUT YOUR APPROVAL

First they looked and said there was no reason the grass should have died so there were going to look into who sprayed and with what. They said they sent another man out to look and he said it was diseased (only where they had sprayed, coincidently). Their fix was to kill the whole lawn, aerate it, and slit seed it. They would never let me speak to the owner, Jerry, and he never bothered to contact us. Now, Jerry has instructed his staff not to do any more work for us. We spent hundreds to have it treated, only to have it die off. But, no reimbursement for that - of course. The staff is very friendly and I've heard good things about Lawn Masters, so go ahead and roll the dice, but I would strongly recommend finding another company.

I don't even know if the call is being answered locally or some random nationwide service. Very frustrating! I've now contacted another local company and will attempt to cancel the remaining service with Terminix. Nor would I recommend using Terminix in the future. Waste of time and a whole bunch of money. We're still trying to get a refund but they absolutely refuse to work with us or even admit they did wrong. The story: we paid THOUSANDS of dollars for a bedbug treatment on a house we just moved into and we had no idea had bedbugs. It's a six month deal for every two weeks - the first service they are supposed to put bed covered on mattresses and bug catchers under the bedposts. Only two of our three beds had covers put on - I guess a baby crib mattress doesn't count as a bed to them? And no bug catchers at all. Next, they said to be out of the house for 4 hours while they do the initial service - 2 hours into our planned activities for being gone we get a call that he's done...he was supposed to bag up clothing on the floor, pillows, bed clothes - all to be washed, about half the stuff was bagged up. Our bed pillows, some clothes and my kids blankets were left on the floor. Idk what the point of the bagging up was. At this point I'm not happy with the service e got for the amount of money I paid - but I gave it two weeks till the next appointment. I waited and waited, checked online and I had no services scheduled. For the amount of money I paid I shouldn't have to schedule my own appointments!!! I should have a standing appointment every 15-17 days like they said. I couldn't get ahold of the scheduler. At this point I was done. I wanted my money back, corporate customer service was useless, idk why they exist since you have to deal with the local company anyway. Since they refused to give me money back (I was happy to pay for the ONE time they came out and did a pitiful job) but I wanted the rest back, they refused so I asked if we could switch the service to regular pest control since we also have an ant/spider/mouse problem (this house has been a joy so far) THEY REFUSED. It seemed like a reasonable compromise but they will not work with the customer. I have been trying to contact the actual manager and he will not answer. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE. Heat is the ONLY way to deal with bedbugs and they don't do heat, no steam or heat was used on my house, Even though it's listed on their website! I'm not giving up, we were completely robbed.
