Generous fish taco and sopa. Excellent

Great fish taco. Very generous on the fish, enough for at least 2 big tacos. With cabbage and cream and a nice white cheese. Feta? Cotija? This is at jalapeno junction outside deadwood junction. If you go at lunch time you might have to wait because they get busy. But the wait is well worth it. Treat yourself to some excellent food.

Best coffee spot in town, but they're more than just coffee. New owners are wonderful folk. Gord makes a good mean cupcake. Our family loves this place. I even had a coworker who was on a bicycle tour this past summer and mentioned this place was indeed a gem of Greenwood. Always lots of locally hand made items. Things for the road and yummy baked goods. My favourite is the sausage roll. 5 stars for customer service 5 stars for uniqueness 5 stars for coffee and teas. There's more to life than Starbucks y'know. 5 stars for their summer BBQ 5 stars for a coffee shop experience regardless time of the year.

The Copper Eagle is a quaint little coffee shop in the historic mining town of Greenwood, "Canada's Smallest City" with incorporation dating back to 1897. It's located in a two-story heritage building built in 1899 and is the perfect rest stop to stretch the legs, refresh with a gourmet cuppa and have something tasty to eat. There's a delicious looking selection of freshly baked bread and treats, and the people who work the counter are genuine and friendly. A welcoming place of small town charm. Physical distancing protocols (for Covid 19) were taken extremely seriously and there is a huge space between tables. The washroom was clean. Hand sanitizer was provided.
