Hard pass . One…read morestar reviews ..ugh, I really hate to award these. My personal experience in dealing with this office is one that I would not like others to experience , so here I am . The office manager represented the seller of a home that I was in process of purchasing. Red flag number 1-the listing ad misrepresented the property. The ad stated the property had hard wood floors-the home did not. The ad stated there was a blacktop driveway-there was not . On the day of my scheduled appointment with a home inspector, the agent/manager assured us the tenants would not be present. They were home. Tenants stated they were not told by the sellers agent that they had to leave which led to wasted time making phone calls to said agent and seller, and myself, inspector and realtor having to wait for the entire family to take showers before we could enter for the inspection. We were also told the tenants would be informed of need to move out before closing (remember this part) . Ultimately , it turns out the manager/agent is reported to be a friend of the seller, who was unable to sell us the property due to reported substantial liens . It also appears the tenants were never told they would need to move as they are still residing in the home Our tentative closing date was 7/1/19 ,and the tenants are still in the home . The fact the tenants still are residing there leads me to believe there was no plan on the sellers part to go through with the sale(yes the seller did his part to make this quite an unpleasant experience as well . )The home was listed as pending sale for 1 day and then went back to being listed as for sale and we were given various vague excuses for this, even though we signed a contract and put down earnest money. Why would the sellers agent not list the property as "pending" sale ? . Though I am thankful I didn't inherit the liens on the property , I am out the cost of the home inspection, the money spent on purchasing items for this particular property and two months of wasted time that I could have been looking for another property . (Fortunately I HAVE found another property . ) If the sellers agent was not the manager of the Lewiston branch , I may have held back on this review , but since she is-buyer beware.
