Dealership Glass was recommended to me by Toyota Lake City. When a crack began spreading in my windshield, I contacted my insurance company to file a claim. After a brief initial conversation with Dealership Glass confirming that OEM glass could be ordered and would likely arrive within a week, I routed my claim to them. The replacement appointment was scheduled for a four-hour time slot. Two days before the appointment, I called to ask if I could arrive an hour later due to a personal conflict. I was told firmly that this was not possible. Since I had never gone through a windshield replacement with ADAS calibration before, I decided to work around the schedule and arrived almost on time at 9:05 a.m. The technician, Ryan, was courteous and explained the process, including how to retrieve my keys from their automated lockbox if needed. The waiting area was comfortable, and another staff member later helped me access the Wi-Fi. At 10:30 a.m.--well ahead of schedule--Ryan informed me that the work was complete and that using OEM Toyota parts made a big difference in both fit and turnaround time. After a short, pleasant chat, I left. Unfortunately, later that day I noticed my Lane Keep Assist (Toyota's name for ADAS in the 2010 Prius) was no longer functioning. I have owned this vehicle for 11 years and know when and where the system should work, and it was now inoperative. The next morning, I called and spoke with Jennifer, explaining that the ADAS likely had not been calibrated correctly and that the car needed to be rechecked. She seemed somewhat dismissive, noting that the paperwork showed the work was completed. While accurate paperwork is good, the system had worked flawlessly before the replacement and stopped immediately afterward. Instead of offering to recheck the calibration, she referred me to a local Toyota dealer without clarifying who would cover the cost. Toyota Lake City later called me to schedule an appointment for the following Monday. Over the next few days, I investigated the issue myself using Techstream (Toyota's dealership software). While I did not have prior calibration data, reviewing live data during a drive showed erratic lane detection, even on well-marked, well-lit roads. A different Toyota dealership quoted me $430 (two hours of labor) for recalibration--less than Dealership Glass's listed $300 static recalibration fee. Wanting to avoid the expense and having some time, I consulted the official repair manual on ChiltonLibrary.com (thanks to King County Library's free access). The process, while labor-intensive, was straightforward with basic tools: a plumb bob, measuring line, Techstream, and in my case, a laser level for accuracy. After completing the recalibration myself in about 2.5 hours, the system began working exactly as it had before. I later found that the calibration data in the car's computer showed the camera height set incorrectly by about 10 inches--likely the source of the problem. Why I'm leaving a 3-star review: Positives: - Managed all ordering and communication with Toyota. - Charged MSRP for all Toyota parts--no markup. - Ryan reinstalled my dashcam and car wash sticker on the new glass. - Very fast turnaround--although almost too fast, given the scope of work. Negatives: - The strict insistence on my 9:00 a.m. arrival (instead of allowing a 10:00 a.m. start) caused unnecessary stress for my schedule and family. - Mistakes happen, but owning them and offering a clear resolution builds trust. Upon inquiry six months ago, my long time, trusted service advisor recommended Dealership Glass. The windshield ding had progressed to a fairly extensive crack on the driver's side over time. The service department had been monitoring its status and recommended its replacement. Thankfully, Dealership Glass was also an approved business per my insurance agent's office. Information was collected to initiate my claim. I received a timely call from Dealership Glass to provide my VIN after they received authorization from my insurance company. I was given the option to have my windshield replacement performed at home or at their Seattle/Lake City site. I opted to bring it onsite and got it scheduled. Note: service is by appointment only. They are located on the eastside of 120th and Lake City Way, sharing space with Pierre Ford Commercial & Fleet. Their reception/check-in/waiting area is modest, see my added Yelp tip. I was quoted a 90 minute wait, however, Nick - the service associate, was done in less than half the time, 40 minutes from check-in to final payment! Plus a kind gesture, my floor mats were vacuumed. (8/3/23) This was also the original windshield from an older vehicle. So there was no excessive glue or adhesive, plus no fancy car cameras to deal with, just the rearview mirror. No more sticky debris despite periodic car washes from cumulative years parked outdoors. Got this completed on a warm, sunny day, so the repair should completely seal in no time. I arranged an appointment for 4/28 for a window replacement on my Honda. I was a little apprehensive beforehand, since Honda doesn't make my car anymore, and I was afraid there might be availability issues. Also, the closing clamps for the window are a little unusual. I wasn't able to set up my appointment on their software system, but their employee Ryan guided me through it easily. He was so helpful and reassuring throughout, exactly the presence you want when you need help with a car problem. I showed up about 8:30 for my 9:00 AM appointment, and Ryan was there to get me going. Their office and restroom were really nice. The rooms themselves were obviously once part of the dealership that had previously occupied the lot, but they were both very clean and equipped with nice new furniture and quality fixtures, as well as some snacks. The waiting room ambience is an important part of the customer experience, and I've always been surprised by the number of business that don't seem to care about the impression they make with a dingy, dirty waiting area. Not Dealership Glass! It was clear all the way around that they cared, and wanted to make people feel good about doing business there. News flash: if you don't care about your waiting area, it can make people think you don't care about other things, either, like maybe the work you do. Ryan got to my car right away. Practically before I knew it, he was done. He completed the entire job, start to finish, in only about 35 minutes. He never said a word about the window clamps, so they obviously weren't a problem. I could tell immediately when I saw the new ones that they were quality items; there's always a certain cheap, generic look to replacement parts that a shop has tried to get from some sketchy vendors at the lowest possible price, and these didn't have it. Even so, the final bill was HALF what a certain other local shop quoted me for the same window (!!). I wrote a Yelp review about them too, and my experience there was, shall we say ... surreal. Literally 180° away from my experience with Dealership Glass. Ryan's helpful attitude made all the difference. From start to finish, he was all about getting me squared away and fixing my problem. I know I keep emphasizing this, but it seems to be an increasingly rare characteristic these days. So many business employees just seem to want to get you in and get you out, and won't hesitate to make the slightest difficulty into an unpleasant brouhaha. I could tell Ryan really cared about helping me and getting my job done right. More businesses would do well to appreciate this approach. Having a window on your car smashed out can be a traumatic experience. More than most issues, it can immediately make your car look trashy and damage your pride in it. By the same token, businesses with the ability to reverse that situation quickly and competently can be almost like magicians in restoring your pride in your car and the fun of ownership. USA Auto Glass & Battery earned my admiration for what appears to be a job well done at what was a price far below Dealership.Glass's estimate (~$300 v ~$500). I had Dealership.Glass replace a rear window on my 4Runner, which was coordinated through a 3rd party. This was me being proactive since the rear window tends to shatter on these vehicles. I'll admit that my initial experience was not good as the window they installed was scratched on both the outside as well as on both sides of the defrosters on the inside. I didn't get a chance to check the glass before the installer left the site, so I had to take this up with the 3rd party I originally coordinated with, which was a bit challenging. Dealership.Glass did resolve this issue to my satisfaction within a two week timeframe, so for that I'm giving them a five star review. The one reminder is to always make sure you review the work before the installer leaves, especially if you pay before the work is completed. I was asked to pay in full up-front in a remote location, and since the installer left before we both could review the work I had to deal with the product issues after-the-fact which was not fun since it was more difficult proving that the issues were there prior to me leaving the site. But as mentioned, the issue was finally resolved to my satisfaction so for that I'm giving them a positive review. read more

You walked out the door to drive to your job and earn a living for your loved ones only to discover that one of our lovely Seattle co-citizens decided to break your window and loot your ride of all the Wrigley's Spearmint you had sitting in the center console, plus its raining, 'cause you know - we live in Seattle. After you have completed your expletive laden diatribe about our worthless city council, I recommend calling Dealership.Glass. These folks are professional and go the distance. I won't go into all of the details, but my glass was tricky to locate because of the pandemic/supply chain shortages. Dealership.Glass went the extra mile to track down the piece and get the part installed at my house. All at a competitive rate. I'll be honest, I did not go to them first. I called my dealership who recommended someone else. They told me they couldn't help me for at least 3 weeks... ugg. Next I went to a local shop that said on the phone they could get the part "no problem." After driving down there and wasting my time they concluded: "Problem." Double ugg. After that I tried another avenue going through one of the national chains that advertises a lot - the experience was terrible. First I had to deal with their terrible website, then the price could choke a horse. Finally I called Dealership.Glass. I spoke to Lloyd. He was incredibly helpful and responsive. They came out to fix the part, but realized once on site they had been sent a non-compatible part from the Toyota dealer. Undeterred, they tracked down the right piece and returned to install it. Thomas installed the piece - he was affable, did a great job, and is just a straight up good dude. I used to Yelp a lot, but parental duties distract me now. They even had my car looked over the next morning to look at the problem and do some testing preliminarily. The person scheduling coordinated with the person who did the work well, and my car was fixed within 3 days. The work is excellent, no longer a leaking problem, such a relief. This is a scenario of over promise and under deliver. I had someone shatter my suv's rear window while coming back from a road trip. I called Dealership glass because of the good yelp reviews. I called in the morning and they were able to get me scheduled on the same day. They said bring the car and it'll take 90 min. Sounded great! Here are the problems... 1. It took 4 hours to complete. We waited 3 hours and before having to leave. Ended up having to pay for an Uber to go get my son from the bus stop. 2. The inside of the car was not vacuumed. There was glass all over. I'm surprised that I have to ask. 3. Worst of all, there are a bunch of scratches to the my paint. 4. The glass repair was not clean. There is excess adhesive around one corner of the glass. 5. Handling of insurance was not clean. I gave them my claim number and I told the insurance company who I was using. Ended up still playing way too much phone tag to make it work Yes, the repair happened, but these things soured it for me. There needs to be better care taken and communication. read more

No disappointment, as the price for the windshield replacement was lower than many places I got quotes from. The job took about an hour and a half--not too bad, as I think there was only one person handling the work load. Thomas was friendly and generally courteous. One thing about his work that I appreciated was that he used a cement for the windshield that had a quicker than average cure rate. This is good thing, Thomas explained, because an airbag deployment can punch the whole windshield out, if the cement hadn't fully hardened. Good to know. read more

Got my right quarter panel replaced at a better quote than everyone else I asked. I had to source the glass myself because otherwise the quote from my own dealer-recommended company was insane. After sourcing the part myself and going with Dealership Glass, I saved $560. Highly recommend these guys. I messaged them and they came right back out to fix it.. well they said they got the glass out but they didn't. I still have loose glass in my door. Wow! What an incredible company! Had someone break into my car late last night and they shattered a window. I messaged Dealership Glass around 1am and by 6am they messaged me with an extremely fair quote and they were able to come out to my job to fix the window same day! We were the victims of a trailhead break in. The rear door driver side window was broken out. After calling several window repair shops and only getting voice mails, I reached Dealership Glass on the first call. I had my back window broken out in a storm by a rogue branch, and with everyone I was calling for quotes, Thomas was the one that continually was following up and touching base. A refreshing change! I took it to their shop, because my Subaru has a body piece that hangs out on top of the glass that would need removed before installation. It took about an hour. There is Elliotts bar across the street (doesnt open until 4) but there is a German coffee & pastry shop, and small stores across the street to kill some time. Its been a week since install and everything still looks great. Some of the back trim doesnt seem to line up flush, but it isn't an issue. No leakage or anything of that matter. I am happy. My husband and I have replaced several windshields over the last few years, being that we are commuters - and ones that, in particular, seem to have bad luck. For the last two windshield replacements, we've used Dealership Glass; specifically, we've dealt with Lloyd both times. Let's be real, dealing with a new windshield isn't difficult but it's frustrating when it happens on a regular basis and you don't always want to shell out the money for one. Fortunately for us, Lloyd has been fantastic both on service and prices. There's something to be said when the out of pocket cost is more reasonable (and easier to deal with) than going through insurance! Last year I needed a replacement after driving for nearly a year with a cracked windshield. Lloyd drove to my place of work in Ballard, along with his colleague, and said the job would take about 90 minutes. To my surprise, it took them less than an hour! The next day after the replacement, it rained, and it was apparent there was an inconsistency in the seal around the new windshield as water started to seep in. After a quick phone call, Lloyd returned again to my work to fix the seal problem - which we fortunately caught immediately before it was a really big problem. Lloyd was incredibly apologetic (even though we weren't mad). Fast forward another year to just a few weeks ago and during another commute, and this time my husband's truck ended up with a huge rock chip in the window. We were anticipating a simple chip repair, but then the super cold weather hit and turned that chip into an non-repairable crack. Once again, Lloyd came to the rescue - driving to our home in Everett to do the replacement IN OUR DRIVEWAY! He couldn't have made the process any easier for us, and the best part was the price was reasonable. I wish I could give them 6 stars!! Seriously. I was so impressed. I accidentally backed into a branch and shattered the back window of my Nissan Xterra. I called Dealership.Glass since they had the lowest quote and was told they could have a replacement window within the hour. I had to work in just a few hours, so Thomas graciously offered to drive my keys to my work so that I could go pick up my car whenever it was convenient for me. I dropped my car off at 2:30, and Thomas had my keys to me less than three hours later. I went to the dealership as soon as I got off work and there my car was, with a shiny new window. They connected me to the shop, I spoke to someone and they asked me for the vehicle identification of my car and I was supposed to text it to them. I purchased a Groupon to get a windshield replaced here. After calling to try and schedule I was told they may not be accepting the coupon anymore. The receptionist was uninformed of their policies and told me he'd call me right back. After never receiving a call back I called them and got another receptionist who also had no idea of their policy. After having to push and ask again if they could simply get the correct information from their management he finally told me they don't accept them. The Groupon clearly explains it's good till February. A reliable company would have accepted the Groupon which I already paid for and honored it. For them to tell me now I will just have to go through Groupon customer service with no apology is extremely horrible customer service. The employees attitude and demeanor about the situation is frustrating. I don't recommend getting repairs here if their basic customer service skills are already lacking. read more

This was by far one of the worst automotive repair related experiences of my LIFE. I found this place on Groupon and they had the best price in the area for a windshield replacement. The tech I spoke with over the phone was helpful and friendly and even got me a next day appointment. The place is easy to find and the waiting room is decently comfortable. However. I was quoted a 45 minute total time frame for replacing my windshield to driving off the lot with it good to go. When I arrived they changed it to a 2 hour time frame. After 2 hours were up I was told just 10 or 15 minutes more. Then again, another 15 more minutes. This happened 2 additional times. They finally finished after a 4 hour wait. Absolutely unacceptable. I could never get an update when I requested one- the front desk is too lazy to call to find out and sends you to the service bay where no less than 5 people saw me waiting to speak to someone and was ignored out right. The final price did match the quote, and so far the windshield seems to be of good quality and installation. But the hassle and time wasted do not make up for their low prices. I drove 90 minutes to this location just for this and now a small repair has cost me the better part of my day mixed in with traffic that I would not have hit going home had their time frame for repair been honored. I've had a lot of trouble finding a factory windshield replacement for my Mustang at a reasonable price. Most places I called had a similar part in stock, but were either aftermarket or ridiculously expensive. When I called Dealership Glass, the manager, Dieter, was able to find the part and have it installed on the same day for over $100 less than anyone else I called. The installation took less than two hours, and it was refreshing dealing with someone who felt like a genuine human being. These guys were fantastic and out to my place in a jiffy. I had my car broken into in a secure apartment garage, and the rear driver window was shattered. Not only were the guys able to be out in about 2 hours from the time I realized it happened, but they did a fantastic job. They removed all of the safety glass that was spread over my floor boards and even vacuumed it off of my personal belongings and moved them to a safe location. Great experience and unbeatable price. So good I had to go there twice! First time I had a large crack that was growing on my windshield that required full replacement of the window, they were able to come to my house next day after I called to make an appointment. I shopped around for prices and they by far have the best price and best service. They are fast too! My window replacement took less than 30 minutes. Second time, I got a rock chip that just required replacement. I emailed on a Sunday (when most places are closed) and Thomas got back to me within 30 minutes of my email to schedule me to come in first thing next morning, I even arrived at the shop earlier than my appointment and Thomas was able to accomodate. He took care of the chip within 15 minutes and it only cost $65 plus tax, cheapest I could find around. read more
