It's absolutely insane how quickly Elias Auto Glass came to the rescue for me. On a holiday no less. Came out to my vehicle at 11am to find the rear wind shield shattered. UPDATE: Windshield they replaced is now CRACKED on driver side from substandard brand. What a waste of money and time. Got in touch with the owner but they hung up after I told them that they had put it on and that I was the author of this Yelp review. Clearly, these people don't want to make this right. BEWARE of promised quality and brand vs actual glasses use on car. I was promised Pilkington glasses which is BMW OEM quality for windshield and two windows. I just noticed yesterday that only one window is Pilkington while the front windshield and other window is some chinese brand called Fayou. Tried repeated attempts at contacting. Nothing. These guys were EXCELLENT. Smash and grab situation on my end. I called yesterday (a Friday) and they said they were booked, but could stop by Saturday morning between 9-10. I sent them a text with a photo and my address and they let me know when they were on their way. They showed up early and were super efficient! My car window got smashed in at work so I called a local auto body repair shop and they recommended I call Elias Auto Glass since that is who they said they use as it would be much faster and probably cheaper as well. They were 100% right! I sent a few pictures of the damage and he sent me an estimate right away and said he could come the next day. He repaired the window and then realized that another minor part of the window needed to be repaired but he didn't have the part but he said it should be cheap and a really quick fix. I went back to the auto body shop and they said it would cost over $300 so I texted Kevin to let him know and he said he would order the part and just charge me for the cost of the part. These guys are awesome!!!! I have an old ghetto Subaru Legacy that was broken in to over a month and a half ago and I am out of town a lot for work so hadn't been able to get around to it until now because I have a few days in town until my next trip which is next week. I called late afternoon on a Friday and they had the glass for me the next day and came to my house to fix it. Well it turns out that my car is always a difficult one to deal with for the side windows (which they openly admitted). And to top that off my window motor (or something that operates my window) wasn't working correctly, so instead of them saying that they couldn't do it or that it couldn't be done at all, they disassembled the interior of my door/window mechanism, then they got the window in the door and rebuilt the mechanism around the window and were able to put it back in to place. Not to mention that they got this all done in about 30-40 minutes, and at what I thought was a very reasonable price especially for working on a Saturday. I couldn't be happier given all of the circumstances!! Kevin and Robert did a great job and they will be getting my recommendations for auto glass work from here on out. read more
